In huge round of applause a beautiful old lady enters on stage.She starts speaking

"Aaj mai bahut khush hoon is liye nahi ki mai aaj yahan itne saalon baad aai hoon dubara stage par, kyuonki pichle kuch saalon se mei tabiyat nahi theek rahti thi to mai kahi bhi kisi bhi programme me shareek (participate) karne nahi jaa paati thi.Ab jaa kar pehle ki tarah ab vo baat nahi rahi ,buapaa aa gaya hai. Aaj hum ek aise talent ko samaanit karne jaa rahe hain jis tarah k log aaj kal kam hi milte hain.Taaliyon se swaagat kijiye Mr. Saarthak Malhotra ka."

A handsome boy appears on stage.Aisa ladka jo aaj kal k ladko jaisa hote hue bhi un se alag hai,itna alag ki emotions aue sentiments jitney jyaada us me hain utne aaj ki practical life me shaayad hi logon k paas hote hain.Kisi cheej ki kami nahi hai us ko ,karondpati baap ka beta hai England se M.B.A. kar k bhi aaya hai,par vo kehte hai na ki Jis ki Kismat me jo Hota Hai us ko wahi milta hai; wahi us k saath bhi hua us k andar ek writer bachpan se hi tha jo sahi time par bilkul metchur ho gaya aur sab k saamne aa gaya.

Dekhne me vo kisi film k hero jaisa hai,kahin se bhagwaan ne koi kami nahi de hai us ko,yahi ek reason hai ki ladkiyaan us ki itni deewani hai.Par aisa hi nahi hai ki keval us k looks ki wajah se hi ladkiyaan us ki deewani thi us me kaafi kuch aisa bhi tha jo us ko baaki ladkon se alag karta tha,khair is baar k Saahitya Academy Awards distribution Function me pehle se jyaada bheed hue the kyounki is baar Saarthak ko Award milna tha.Kuch log aisa sochte the:-

"Agar aaj ye yahan na aata Award receive karne to mai kabhi is Award function me nahi aati,bus is ko ek baar dekhne k liye hi mai aaj yahan aayi hoon."A gal said.

"Haan yaar mai bhi to". Her friend said.

Wahi kuch aisa bhi sochne waale the wahan:-

"Huuuuuuuuhhhhhhhh( sada sa muh bana kar ),aaj kal ka ladka pata hai kya likta hai bilkul bekaar aur us par is ko Award mil raha hai". A man said.

"Hum ne is se accha likha hai kai baar par hum ko to nahi mila Award".

"Milega bhi kyuon nahi bhai tum ya mai to Aditaya Malhotra k bete hai nahi".

They didn't notice dat a pair of eyes gazed them wen they said dat.

There was a big naughty smile on the face of a sweet gal wen she saw her brother winning dat Award.Only she knew wat does it mean for her brother.Her father is always worried for her brother because he thinks who will take care of all this property after him. Saarthak was not much interested in his business. He can do it but he was a little interested towards it.The gal really care of her two beloved ppl. one is her bro n second is his paa.

This gal does not know dat her life is going 2 change wen she will come back India. Than there will b three importanat ppl in her life.She is Mauli Malhotra
darling of Saarthak n his dad.

Rajni Devi hands over the Award to Saarthak n he receives it with g8 delight.

"Ab mai Mr. Saarthak se nivedan (request) karoonga ki kuch kahe." announcers says.

Saathak moves ahead,in first time in his life he was feeling nervous..Phir bhi he starts

"Ladies n Gentelman ye mera ab tak ki life ka sab se bada Award hai so I am speechless .Mai kaise bataoo aap sab ko ki aaj mujhe kaisa lag raha hai.I am speechless. Bus I want 2 thank Academy n Jury 4 dat.n two most important ppl of my life,my sis Mauli who's in London this time n second id my dearest frnd Vat-sal Mehra, C.E.O. of my dad's company.This is for u both.Thank u."


Someone says "Bus impression banae k liye bolta hai my dad's company.Huhhhhhhh"

As soon as he come down from stage he switched on his cell phone he found twenty three miss call. Some were from his father but most of them were from his sis Mauli.His cell rang again n he picked up the phone.
"Kya bhai itni der se phone kar rahi hoon , aur aap ne phone off kar rakha hai ye bhi koi baat hue."

"Are sweety aisa kuch bhi nahi hai".

"Jao mai aap se baat nahi karoongi."

"Nahi baba mai jaanta tha ki tera phone aayega par subah se itne phone aa rahe the ki mai receive kar kar k thak gaya tha so I switched off my phone.Accha ab naraj mat ho accha baba sorry ok.,ab to maan jaa. Mujhe wish nahi karegi tu?"

Smiling widly she says"Congrats bhai aap par garv hai mujhe,bhagwaan aap jaisa bhai sab ko de".(with teary eyes)

"Accha ab rona band kar de,mai tujh se baad me baat karta hoon. Ok bye tc. Miss u n luv u."

"U too bhai, bye."

N he hungs the phone up. Jaise hi vo bahar nikalta hai ladkiyon ki bheed me ghir jaata hai. Autographs lene k liye bheed lag jaati hai, aur vo normaaly patiently sab ko autograph deta rehta hai. Sab ko autograph dene k baad us ki najar Rajni ji par padti hai jo wahan Mr. Kashyap(Organizer of Awards) se baat karti hoti hain.Vo wahan jaata hai.

"Hello mam"

"Are aap yahan".

"Aap ko busy dekha to socha ki kyoun na aap ki madad ki jaaye."

"Nahi mera sab kaam ho gaya hai, ab mai hotel tak jaa rahi hoon.Thodi der me Mumbai ki train hai."

"Kis Hotel me ruki hain aap?"

"Mai Murya Shereton me".

"Chaliye mai aap ko chod deta hoon."

"Nahi aap kyoun takleef karte hain mujhe mile hue hai gadi.".

"Are mere ghar k pehle hi padta hai ye Hotel. Chaliye na kam se kam aap se kuch gyan ki baaten hi sheekhonga."

"Accha chaliye."

Saarthak un ka samaan apni gadi me rakhwata hai aur un ko Hotel tak chodta hai. Raaste bhar vo un se un k expirence k bare me poochta rehta hai aur vo apni life ka saara conclusion us ko batatii hain.

"May I call u granny as ur grandsons n daughter call u." (With a g8 respect in his voice)

Udhar Mumbai k ek kone me

"Hello kya hua aap ko kuch bola aapne?", She asked.

"Na na …nahi to(said in hesitation in his voice)" , Vedant ko laga ki us k shabd us k muh me hi atak gaye hain.

"R u fine?" She again asked as if she was trying to confirm herself.

Tabhi vahi old man jo kal raat ko Vedant ko mile the wahan aaye.

"Are aap shayad raat me maine aap ko hi dekha tha(in confusing tone).Par mujhe kuch yaad nahi hai".Vedant says in a deep thinking.


"Haan beta kal raat me tum ko chot lag gayi thi to mai hi tum ko yahan laya tha.Vo ladkon ki gaddi se tum ko chot lag gayi thi Shyaad tum ko yaad ho".He says.

V(Hiten)-"Haan yaad aaya aur us k baad mai behosh ho gaya tha shaayad aur fir mujhe kuch yaad nahi hai ki mai yahan kaise aaya?"

"Vo beta tum ko chot lag gayi thi kaafi blood nikal gaya tha is wajah se tum behosh ho gaye the isliye mai tum ko apne ghar par le aaya. Meri natini doctor hai na,ye", He says in pointing towards direction of dat beautiful gal.

"Mai doctor nahi hoon abhi padhaii kar rahi hoon,nana ji aap bhi na.",She says smiling broadly.

Zaroor dil ki hi doctor hogi he murmurs softly to himself while thinking n watching her face constantly.

"Kuch kaha kya aap ne?", She asked.

"Na na …….. nahi to" (says in hesitation n hits his head from his hand thinking deeply he says to himself. Naam poocho ya na poocho, poocho ya na poocho............................)

"Vaise mera naam Poorvi Nigam(Prachi Desai) hai,mai yahan par St.Xavier College se M.B.B.S. kar rahi hoon".She says as if she understood very well wat he wanted to asked the same.

V-"Kya baat hai samajh gayi ye to." (he murmurs)

"N myself is Mr.Ajay Srivastava (Alok Nath)mai Army se retired Major hoon,yahan par meri wife aur mere ye dono naati natin reht hain,jin me se ek se aap mil chuke ho aur mera ek Naati hai jis ka naam Sahil hai,vo yahin St. Xavier college se M.B.A. kar raha hai". That old man tells to Vedant.

V-"Good to know u all sir, n me too studying from same college n same couse.May I know in which semester ur grandson is?"

P-"He is in M.B.A. Ist semester".

V-"Yeah me too.Well thanks for wat u did for me last night.( He says in an obliged manner.)

Mr. Srivasatav-"Shukriya kis baat ka beta insaan he to insaan ki madad karta hai.Par beta tum ne apna naam to bataya hi nahi.".

V-",My name is Vedant Sinha. Vaise bhi sir is sehar me to log itni fast life jeete hai ki kisi k paas kisi k liye waqt he nahi hai".(There was a depression in his voice)

Mr. Srivasatava-"Aisa nahi hai beta,accha chalo nashta kar lete hain".(Topic change karne k irade se)

They both go to the dinning table n suddenly a loud voice of music system break their attention.

V-"Ye kis jagah se aa rahi hai awaaj?"(in surprising tone)

P-"Bhai exercise kar raha hai apne room me.Thank god aaj vo jaldi utha varna aaj mai college kaise jaati?"

Mr. Srivasatava-"Actually aaj roadways ki buses ki strike hai na."

V-"Are to mai kaise jaoonga ?"

P-""We shall drop u."

Breakfast finish hone k baad Mr.Srivastava says to Poorvi ",Be ta zara chek kar lo in ko phir tum sab nikal jaana."

P-"Ok nana ji ,aaiye mai aap ka check up kar leti hoon".

Poorvi and Vedant go in guest room where Poorvi checks him properly and than she says.

P-"Ok now ab aap theek ho,I think v can move now".

V-"Aap ne to bola tha ki yahan par aap ki granny bhi rehti hain par mujhe to vo kahin nahi dikhaii di".(he asked in an inquiring tone)

P-"Actually she is out of station .She is in Solan presently, mom was not well so she had gone to meet her".

V-"Is ka matlab to ye hua ki aap log bhi Solan k hi hai .(in surprised tone).

P-"Haan vo to hai par aap log bhi se aap ka kya matlab hai mai samjhi nahi?"(asks in same manner)

V-"Actually I am too from Solan,."

P-"Oh g8 2 know it Vedant .I think u must know my father Mr. Nigam Principal of New Shine Degree College."

V-"Off course, everybody know him in the city n respect him too. I think u must know Mr. Atul Sinha.I am his son".

P-(in amazment)Wat!tum Sinha uncle k bete ho,I can't believe this.Tum Vedu ho na.I can't believe it."(in happy manner)

V-"Haan mai Vedu hi hoon aur vahi Vedoo jis ko tum sab mil k chidaya karte the,yaad hai na.Mujhe to sab yaad hai.(in relaxed tone)"

P-"Hey tum kab aaye yahan par ,tum ne aane se pehle bataya kyoun nahi,accha a baa gaye ho to tum hostel nahi yahan par rahoge samjhe ki nahi."Poorvi ne order de dala. She was too happy to see his old frnd like this here.Tabhi wahan sahil aata hai aur Poorvi ko bolta hai "College nahi jaana hai kya tuhe,yahan par bekaar me kyuon utchal rahi hai?"He turned towards Vedant n asks him

"How r u dude 2day?"

"Bhai aap ne is ko nahi pehchana,ye apna Vedoo hai yaad hai Sinha uncle ka beta,ye aur Muskaan jin k saath hum bachpan me khelte the".

Idhar gusse me ghar se Muskaan(Priyanka) nikal k seedhe college pahuchti hai,to dekhti hai ki notice board k around kaafi bheed lagi hue hai.

Vo seedhe wahan jaati hai aur jaanne ki koshish karti hai ki wat's happening there, but there was too rush so she could not find wat's going on.

"Hey Muskaan tum yahan itni jaldi kaise?", one of her class mate asks her.

"Kyoun mai kya college hamesha late aati hoon ki mujhe itni jaldi dekh kart um sab itna chauk rahe ho". (says in angry tone)

"nahi aisa to nahi hai but tum apni body guard frnds k aane k pehle college me darshan nahi deti hai na aap."They said in commenting tone.

"Shukra hai mai apni frnds ko hi body guard banati hoon ,tum to apne saath k saare ladko k bagair kahin jaane me apni insult samjahti ho".

"Jis me koi dum hoga ladke usi k peeche hi to padenge na,tumhare to aas pass bhi koi fatakna bhi pasand nahi karta hai na".(she said in a proud manner)

"No thanks mai koi kuda nahi hoon jo mere aas paas mukhiyan bhinbhinayege".(Muskaan said in almost insulting tone)

"How dare u 2 tak me like this?"She cried badly in raged voice.

"Cool down babe! agar truth se itna hi dar lagta hai to mujh s panga mat liya karo". Muskaan says smiling.

"Chal yaar Sonal is k muh mat lag vaise bhi is baat ki jealousy hai is ko hum se ki hum sab college ki most demanding gals hai.". Sonal's frnd suggested her.

"Oh really,kahan par demanding ho? Boys k time pass k liye shayad tum sab ki demand jyada rehti hai". Muskaan replied curtly.

"U …………." Sonal cried madly.

"Huhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, jaa apne gusse par control kar Rocky ki band party tera wait kar rahi hogi.Tere bina vaise bhi us me rang nahi jamega."Muskaan said in commenting tone.

"Hey gals wat's up?" Sakshi come der.

Sakshi(Gauri) ko dekh kar Sonal aur us k group ki gals bura sa muh bana k chali jaati hai.

"Kya baat hai Muskaan ye Sonal aur us ki band party kaafi bahdki hue lag rahi thi,ki hoya?"

"Kuch nahi yaar in sab ki to adat hai vaise bhi,tu bata Nikki kahan hai aaj?"

"Yaar aa rahi hogi college k gate par Shikhar(Ezaz Khan) mil gaya tha us se hi kuch baat kar rah hai.Tu bata tu bade gusse me lag rahi hai kya hua,ghar par jahgda hua kya?"

"Nahi".Muskaan lied.

"Ho hi nahi sakta aisa,meri Muskaan ka mood off aise hi nahi hai ,jaroor ghar par koi baat hue hai bata na".Sakshi asked in requesting manner.Putting her hand over her shoulder.

"Yaar koi aise bhi baat nahi thi ,paa scolded me 2day first time in my life yaar".

"Y?" asked Nikki(Neha Bamb) in surprise .She just came from behind n have listened wat she said.

"Yaar v returned back late in night yesterday from club tat's y mom n paa r angry wid me, n paa….. (tears started rolling from her eyes n she became silent)"

"Koi baat nahi yaar job hi teri care karega vo is baat par naraj to hoga hi na,vo bhi tere se pyaar karte hai isiliye vo itna sad ho gaye.Accha ab rona band kar sab theek ho jaayega,jab tak tu wapas jaayegi tere mom n dad ka gussa kahtam ho jayega."Sakshi said in explaining tone. "Kuch nahi hoga haan but tu ye promise kar aage se ittni der tak party me nahi ghoomegi."

"Thank god maine apne room me pillow rak kar us ko sheet se dhak diya tha varna to meri bhi vaat lagni tay hi thi," Nikki said in relief.

Hearing this Muskan n Sakshi started laughing badly and gave her a disbelief look.

"Kya yaar maine aisa kya bol diya kit um logon ko itni hassi aa gayi "Nikki asked in an embarrassing tone.

"Tu na ……U r so sweet" , Sakshi said.

"Hey gals ye batao ki aaj notice board par itni bheed kyoun thi ,I don't think ki aaj koi result aaya hai."Muskaan asked in enquiring tone.

"Haan yaar ye kya hai?Mujhe bhi is bare me kuch nahi pata hai,Hey Sakshi tu bata tere ko kuch pata hai?"Nikki asked.

"Haan pata hai.Pata ye hai ki board par college k annual day k functions ki notice lagi hai,aur is baar hamare yahan 5 type k competitions honge.Is baar hamare college k chieg guest honge,mere fav. Novelist Mr. Sarthak Malhotra.Tum log jaante nahi ho kya likhte hain yaar,un ki novels ko padh k mai to doosri duniya me hi pahuch jaati hoon",she said it with dreamy eyes.

"Yaar hamare college waalon ka dimag pakka kharab ho gaya hai, annual function me writer ko bulane ki kya jaroorat hai?Kya vo kisi filmstar ko ya kisi minister ko nahi bula sakte the."Muskaan said in a bouring tone.

"Are yaar tum log nahi jaante hi un ko theek

se itni Awards mil chuke hain un ko ki kya batoo.Is baar un ko un ki latest novel Vasundhara k liye Sathiya Academy ka award mil raha hai.Isi liye principal sir ne un ko bulane ka socha." Sakshi told them.But it seemed tat they r not interested in it.

"Hoga koi dhoti kurte waala writer" , Muskaan said in an ignorning manner.

"Dekhna tab batana ki kaise hai Mr. Saarthak Malhotra",Sakshi said proudly.

"Accha ye bata ki kaun-2 se comp. hone waale hain yaar?"Nikki asked.

"First one is Dancing ,second is Mehndi, third is drawing, fourth is drama by diff classes and last one is poem ."Sakshi said.

"Tu kis me participate karegi?"Nikki asked Muskaan.

"Kisi me nahi", Muskaan replied curtly.

"Kyuon yaar tu vaise bhi dance kamala ka karti hai,to y not dancing yaar?" Sakshi asked.

"Chod yaar is baar mera man nahi hai.",Muskaan said.

"Nahi tu participate karegi bus maine keh diya", Sakshi said.

"Wat the hell is this mai nahi karoongi participate".Muskaan said in irritating tone.

"Accha theek hai meri maa mat karna participate theek hai."Sakshi said in frustataion.

"Mai to karoongi Mehndi comp me aur Drawing comp me bhi.Aur tu Saakshi?" Nikki said smiling.

"Maine abhi kuch socha nahi hai par mai bhi karoongi jaroor participate."Saakshi said grinning.

"Kab se start ho raha hai is baar Annual Function?" Muskaan asked thinking deeply.

"On 2nd April" ' Sakshi replied.

Back in Mumbai :-

All were in home after a hectic day.Vedant n Sahil were sitting on couch. Vedant was tired n he stretched his legs over the table.He has been called to railway station to check about her granny's train, he was informed dat it's late for 3 hrs. Poorvi was cooking in kitchen n their nana ji was reading ne book in his study room.Vedant put on the T.V. n started to search ne intresting T.V. show. After finding so much time he tuned to a News Channel .Both of them (Vedant n Sahil) started talking:-

"How was ur day?" Sahil asked in a lazy tone.

"Quite good better than my first day , when my seniors did my ragging." He said.
"Are yaar ragging ko to enjoy karna chahiye na."

"Jab tere hue to tune enjoy kiya tha na?"

Smiling over himself Sahil says "Haan maine to kiya tha."

Tabhi kitchen me se Poorvi ki awaaj aati hai "bhai jara yahan to aana".

"Mai nahi aa raha hoon kyounki mere paaron me bada pain ho raha hai, Vedoo tu dekh le yaar kya keh rahi hai ye?"

"Ok", saying this Vedant goes in kitchen n sees Poorvi cooking something.He starts watching her (smiling to himself) "Ye kya ho gaya hai tujhe Vedant aaj tak kisi bhi ladki ko dekha kar aisa kuch nahi feel hua jaisa ki ab feel ho raha hai vo bhi Poorvi k liye jis ko mai bachpan me hamesha moti-2 keh kar chidata tha".Poorvi rotiyaan bana rahi thi.

"Bhai jara vo garam masale ka dibba utha k do na kaafi upar hai mera haath nahi pahuch raha hai."Without seeing him she says.

Vedant us ki awaaz sun kar apne khayalon ki duniya se bahar aata hai aur just like an obedient child us ko dibba utha kar deta hai.

"Bhaii jara vo acchar ka dibba bhi utar kar rakh do vedoo jaroor mangega achar us ko bahut pasand hai." She says again.

"To tum ko abhi tak yaad hai ki mujhe achar aacha lagta hai khane k saath."Vedant says smiling to himself.

Poorvi chauk jaati hai."Are tum kab aaye yahan maine to bhai ko bulaya tha na?" she asks in amusement.( jaise lag raha tha ki vo Vedant k ques. ka answer dene me hesitation feel kar rahi ho)

"Vo kaafi thak gaya tha na to us ne mere ko bhej diya.Y ne problem?"Vedant asks in confusion.

"Na na'.. nahi to ,vahi mai sochoo ki agar bahi aata to ek k baad ek saare kaam bina complain k kaise kar sakta tha.Aisa to aaj tak kabhi hua nahi."

Both starts laughing at this statement.Poorvi khana bana kar dinning table par lagati hai aur is me Vedant us ki help bhi karta hai.Khana khane k baad Sahil says

"Bhai mere ko to bahut need aa rahi hai so I am going to sleep now".he says yawning.

"Are tum ko abhi neend aa rahi hai to kaise jaoge nani ko lene?"Poorvi asks in frustrated tone.

"Yaar is haalat me to mai gadi nahi drive kar paoonga".Sahil says.

"Kya bhai tum hamesha aise hi karte ho'''."says Poorvi in frustration.

"Hmmm''"says Sahil a liitile lazy.

She hits him wid a cushion."Are yaar mai bahut tired hoon aaj bahut kaam tha college me." Sahil says yawning again.

"Haan haan pata hai tumhara kaam ,kisi stupid se ladki k peeche apna time waste kar rahe hoge bus." In anger Poorvi says.

"Accha ab bus kar meri maa." Sahil says in half sleepy tone.

"Nanu dekho na ise'." Poorvi calls her nanu for help.

"Kyoun yaar chain se rehte hue nahi dekh sakti hai na mujhe?" Sahil says n suddenly he thinks some thing "Yaar Vedoo tu kyoun nahi le k chala jaata is ko?"

"Mai'.(with hesitation in his voice) mai kaise yaar'.."

"Bhai ab natak mat karo is ko yahan pe aaye abhi kitne din hue hi hain jo''"

"Are yaar apni gadi se hi to jana hai tu is ko rasta batati jaana na." Sahil says.

"Theek hai baba chalo'..(thinking something she asks Vedant) tum ko gadi chalana to aata hi hoga na?"

"Tum ko kya lagta hai?" Vedant asks hitting her forehead.

"Accha ab tum log jaaoo varna traffic me fuss gaye to late ho jaaoge" Sahil says in sleepy tone n goes to his room.

"Ok let's move". Poorvi says.

Mumbai ka traffic to my god kitna jayada hai. Par jab ye dono(Vedant aur Poorvi ) niklate hain to traffic nahi hota hai aur ye dono 2 hours before he station pahuch jaate hain.They decide to go and sit in a near park to spend this time. They both go in park. Poorvi Vedant se saare apne doston k bare me poochne lagti hai bachpan ki yaden taza hone lagti hain aur kab ye 2 hrs. beet jaate hain pata hi nahi chalta hai.They finally look at watch and they find only 5 min left in reaching of train.They both reach the Station and pick Poorvi's granny .Poorvi introduces Vedant to her granny. Her granny sees a spark in her eyes while introducing Vedant to her.
