Part 10
Kripa gets out of the car and goes inside, Angad comes after her, Kripa is about to go into the bathroom when Angad calls her
A - Kripa!
She turns around and looks at him
K - what?
A - I want the truth now Kripa, no more excuses what is going on with you and Mrs Nanda and Mrs Kapoor?
K - Angad let me shower then....
A - no! now kripa
Angad holds her hand and takes her to their bedroom, he sits her on the bed and sits next to her
A - now tell me......
Kavya and Anjali also arrive home, Anjali begins to get changed when Kavya turns her around to face him
Ka - you were going to tell me everything, so tell me
An - let me get changed....then I'll tell you
Ka - no Anjali, now, I need to know this
An - ok, then listen.....
Neev and Prachi are in their car, Prachi notices Neev isn't heading home instead he is parking the car in a car park, she looks at him
P - why are we here?
N - because I want answers
P - Neev, lets go home at least
N - no Prachi, if we're at home you'll make some excuse or another, now you can't go anywhere, its just me and you.
Prachi looks at him and begins to tell him......lets see how the guys react.....Kripa finishes telling Angad the story while Angad is looking at the photo album, he puts it down and sits by Kripa, he eipes the tears fallin from her eyes
A - now I understand everything, your reaction upon seeing them, not wanting the merger to happen but its done now Kripa, I can't back out
K - its ok
A - Kripa if I say something you won't get angry would you?
K - go ahead
A - did you ever try....talking to Prachi and Anjali? don't get me wrong I'm not saying they're right and you're wrong, but maybe you got the wrong end of the stick, like you said it was your ex-boyfriend who said all that stuff, how do you know he wasn't lying?
Kripa looks at him, Angad strokes her cheek
A - Anjali, Prachi and you were close friends, I don't know how you could let anyone come between you and ruin it like that, I think you need to talk with them, who knows maybe their stroes are different
Kripa looks towards the photo album not knowing what to do. Meanwhile Kavya sits opposite Anjali and begins to take her jewellery off for her
Ka - interesting story, best of friends, inseperable
Anjali looks into Kavya's eyes as he takes her earrings off
Ka - if all of that is true......then why do you hate each other now? you let your cheating ex boyfriend come between you and your best friends. I'd be damned if someone tried to ruin things between me and Vayu.
Kavya takes the clip out of Anjali's hair and lets it fall onto her shoulders.
Ka - Anjali, when you know someone for such a long time, it shouldn't matter what anyone says, things like boyfriends, money, status shouldn't be a part of it, friendship is a world of its own where you control what happens. Yug said those things to you and you believed him, the guy who couldn't even be faithful to you, how could he possibly be telling the truth?
Anjali looks at Kavya silently as he lightly brushes her hair
Ka - talk to them, straighten things out because you never know what could happen tommorow, I'm going to take a shower
Kavya kisses her cheek softly and leaves her in her thoughts.......Prachi and Neev are walking together, Prachi had insisted they take a walk while she told him. Neev is holding her hand, he stops walking and sits on a bench, Prachi sits by him
N - whenever I'm joking with you, you already know before hand right?
P - yeah
N - because you know me so well, we've known each otherfor what.....3 years now
P - hmm
N - you knew them since you were 10 years old then how could you not tell the difference between their real fights and staged fights? If you three were as close as you say you were, you should have realised the minute Anjali spoke that this was all a misunderstanding, not a staged fight but instead of speaking to both of them you decided to listen to yor ex, who hated them in the first place? jaan before we got married I always used to say to you that aswell as being your boyfriend I want to be your best friend, thats because friendship is a relationship so pure and is meant for a lifetime and small arguements shouldn't affect such strong bonds like what you had with Kripa and Anjali, if you ask me, I think you should speak to them and listen to what they have to say, better late than never
Neev gets up to go to the car, Prachi sees him putting his hand out
N - shall we go?
Prachi nods slowly and holds his hand and thinks about what Neev just told her while she walks. The following day, its the first official meeting for the merger, the three guys are in a conference room in the Khanna Industries building with various other executives, they discuss the project and finally it ends, the executives leave the room while Angad, Kavya and Neev stay
A - so....our wives were friends
Ka - who were broken apart because of a misunderstanding
N - Prachi has agreed to speak to Kripa and Anjali
Ka - yeah in fact I think Anjali said she is meeting them for dinner
A - I hope things go smoothly, I'd hate to have to incur losses by cancelling this project, if Kripa cannot stand the sight of your wives then this project will no longer happen
N - yeah and I was really hoping we three could become good friends
The three leave the room wondering how the dinner will go.
