He is so provoking her right now. His day is not done without getting a rise out of her.

He is right about one thing. Running away from each other does not work for them. They keep circling back.

He is not letting her get out of the competition now. The challenge is too enticing for his nerves.

It is not about one upmanship he says. It is more about provoking her and getting her to react to him.
