Though Rakhi rang up Bani,Bani hid from her about Aakesh’s condition and asked her to continue in Kasi.

Bani took care of Aakesh in the hospital.Aakesh was speechless seeing how Bani was taking care of her.Bani went to pharmacy to buy medicines.

The nurse told Aakesh:You are lucky to have a loving wife.These days no wife will tolerate an alcoholic husband who has no health.But she is so patient with you.

Aakesh was moved by her words.

Bani returned and gave him medicine.Aakesh had the medicine.

Aakesh:Bani,I have always hurt you.Then why do you care for me?

Bani:For my Rakhi Maa.

Aakesh looked at her emotionally.

Bani:I have decided to take you to the alcohol rehabilitation centre.My friend Veeranshu has talked to them about you.Don’t object it.This time I will not listen to you.Atleast think about your mother who does’nt even know that your health has worsened.If you really love her,try to improve your health for your mother.

Aakesh:I will not object it.Because now I feel that I should get well for someone who cares for me..you.

Bani looked at him in disbelief.

Aakesh:You have opened my eyes Bani.I realized how much I hurt my poor mother. I will try my best to improve my health.

Bani smiled slightly.

Bani took him to the alcohol rehabilitation centre.Surprisingly Aakesh tried his level best to be away from drinks.Bani took care of him very well as well gave attention to the family business.This made Aakesh’s heart melt.

Aakesh:Again I am asking you Bani.Why are you taking care of me so sincerely?

Bani:I already told you.It’s for Rakhi Maa.

Aakesh:Just for Maa or any other reason is there?

Bani:What reason?

Aakesh:The nurse in the hospital had told me that only a loving wife can do the things which you do for me.

Bani was silent.

Aakesh:Do..Do..you..have feelings for me?

Bani was stunned by his question.

Bani:I really care for you and I genuinely want you to be healthy.Other than that I don’t know anything.

Aakesh:You are honest.No wonder that you can’t love me.No woman will love a gone case like me.

Aakesh became upset.

Aakesh:I loved a woman named Monisha.But she betrayed me.I could not bear her betrayal as I loved her more than myself.I lost myself.I decided to commit suicide and purposefully I drove carelessly seeing a truck coming on my way.But unfortunately I did not die.But I became physically unfit.I completely depended on drinks.Bani…if you had entered my life earlier I would not have travelled through the wrong path.

Aakesh’s eyes were full of tears.

Bani wiped his tears.

Bani:Aakesh,don’t think about your past.Just start afresh. You should take care of your health and be a responsible son.Take care of your mother and family business.

Aakesh held Bani’s hand and said:I promise you that I will be a changed person for better.

Bani smiled.

Aakesh was lost in her sweet smile.

She smiled again:Your smile too.

They both smiled.

Aakesh looked at Bani sleeping.

He caressed her face lovingly which Bani did not know.

He went to his imaginary world where only he and Bani were there.

He imagined him and Bani in so much of love with each other.

Veer:Aakesh,Bani is your luck which only you got as your own.Please don’t make her eyes wet in any way.

Aakesh:Never!I swear…I will never hurt her.

Veer and Bani smiled.

Veeranshu and Bani got out of the room.

Veer:God has heard your prayer.Aakesh is getting well.

Bani smiled.

Bani:It’s because of you and Vandana's husband Dr.Rahul.

Veer smiled.

Veer:Ok. I am leaving.

Bani:Veeranshu,just one second.

Veer:Yes Bani.

Bani:Why did you lie that Vandana proposed you?

Veer:It was a joke Bani.

Bani:But why did you do such a stupid prank on me?

Veer:I told you that it was just a joke.

Bani:Can anyone say such a cheap joke?

Veer:It was a useless joke on my side.Sorry.Anyways Bye.

Veeranshu walked off.

Bani was left confused.

Bani:Why I am unconvinced with Veeranshu’s answer?Why do I feel that he is hiding something from me?

Unknown to her,Aakesh was watching them.His face was dull.

Later Aakesh got cured and got discharged.

Rakhi too retuned home.Aakesh told her everything which happened in her absence.

Rakhi was stunned.She hugged Bani and wept.

Rakhi:You are the most precious thing we could get.Thank you so much for making my son normal like before.Because of you I got my son back.

Bani smiled:But please don’t thank me Maa.

Rakhi kissed her forehead.Aakesh smiled seeing their bond.

Bani was brought to the living room by Aakesh.She was surprised to see Veeranshu there.

Bani:Veeranshu!

Veeranshu:Actually Aakesh called me here.

Bani stared at Aakesh.

Aakesh:I only called Veeranshu here to surprise you both.

Veer-Bani were confused.

A lawyer came with some papers.

Aakesh:These are divorce papers.

They were stunned.

Aakesh signed it:I have signed it.Now you also sign it Bani.

Veer-Bani were shocked.

Bani:What is this Aakesh?

Aakesh:Don’t think that I am a heartless person who will tie you in a loveless marriage till the end.

Bani:Aakesh!Don’t forget that you are my husband.

Aakesh:What kind of husband Bani?I don’t have even the minimum qualities a husband should possess.I am not interested to lead a married life also.So sign it.It’s better for both of us.

Bani:What rubbish!

Aakesh:It’s not rubbishness Bani.I really thought a lot before taking this decision.

Bani:But I did’nt marry you to divorce you.

Aakesh was touched by her words.

Bani and Veeranshu were shocked.

Aakesh:I am not misunderstanding both of you.I know that you both are not cheating me.But you both are cheating yourself by hiding your love for each other.

Veer and Bani were embarrassed.

Veer thought:How did Aakesh know that I love Bani?But why did he say that we both are hiding our feelings?

Bani thought:How did Aakesh understand my feelings?But did Aakesh say that Veeranshu too is hiding his feelings?But why?

Aakesh:Don’t hide your love and live a stale life.You both are nice and deserve each other.

Veeranshu:Aakesh,what are you saying?

Bani:Why are you trying to join us?

Aakesh:Because I saw what you both did’nt see in each other…love.

Veer-Bani were stunned.

Aakesh:Bani…Veeranshu lied to you about his colleague proposing him.You did not understand why he did that.But I understood that he did so to make you realize your love for him and admit it before him.

Aakesh pulled her nuptial chain and broke it.

Bani and Veer were shocked.

Bani:Aakesh!

Rakhi who had gone out entered the house.

Bani went near Rakhi tearfully.

Bani:Maa,Aakesh wants to end our marriage.He broke my nuptial chain and signed the divorce papers.

Ask him what he is doing.

Rakhi:I think he is right Bani beta.You deserve the best,not someone like Aakesh.Now I know everything about him.Aakesh told me everything.Without knowing anything I spoiled your life.If I had known about Aakesh's physical problems I swear..I would not have got you married to him.Now I want to correct my mistake.So I also want this divorce to happen.

Bani was shocked.

Rakhi caressed her head emotionally.

Rakhi:I will be always a nice mother to you.That’s why I want this divorce.For a happy married life,love and spouse matter more than a nice mother in law.Your married life lacks love.You deserve love and happiness which only Veeranshu can give you.

Bani was numb.

Rakhi went near Veeranshu:Veeranshu,please accept Bani.Show her the love which you suppressed till now.

Veer:I promise that I will give her all the love she deserves.I regret not expressing my love till now.

Bani could not believe that Veeranshu also agreed with their decision.

Aakesh:Very good decision Veeranshu.

Bani looked at Aakesh and asked:Why are you doing this Aakesh?

Aakesh smiled.

Aakesh:What do you think Bani?Only you know to love?I also know to love.

Bani looked at him in confusion.

Bani:Means?What do you mean?

Aakesh had a naughty smile on his face.

Aakesh:Means I know about love.

I can love only my mother.So I can’t consider you as my wife.

So sign the divorce papers.

Rakhi:Sign it Bani.

Veeranshu looked at Bani emotionally.

Veer:Bani..if you don’t wish for it,I will not force you.

Aakesh and Rakhi became upset whether Veeranshu will sacrifice Bani and Bani will decide to not sign the divorce paper listening to him.

Aakesh:If you want Bani to be happy,convince her to get rid of this meaningless marriage.

Veeranshu was painfully silent.

Bani looked at Rakhi and Aakesh painfully.

Bani:If I am a burden for you I will not stay here anymore.

She signed the divorce paper.Aakesh and Rakhi’s hearts got torn.

Bani went to her room and took the luggage.

Bani wept before Aakesh and Rakhi.

Bani:I did’nt want to leave this place.But now I am leaving.

Rakhi hugged her crying,Aakesh controlled his tears.

Aakesh:Bani,I will be always with you as a good friend.

Bani smiled emotionally.

Veeranshu:Bani…I will drop you home.

Bani:I will go by myself.

Bani stepped out of the house.But she slipped her foot and before she fell down backward Veeranshu caught her from behind.

Veer:I will never leave you.I will always walk by your side to protect you.

Bani and Veeranshu walked out of the house.

Rakhi:I never wanted Bani to leave.But she deserves the best.Aakesh…Bani always stood by your side in your bad times.Have you not felt any kind of affection towards her?

Aakesh looked at her tearfully.

Aakesh:I can’t hide it from you Maa.I love Bani very much.That’s why I want her to live happily with the person she loves.I wish Bani had entered my life earlier.Then I would not have left her at all.

Rakhi:Aakesh!

Aakesh was silent.

Rakhi:Bani does not know that you love her.

They hugged each other and cried.

After 6 months Aakesh-Bani’s divorce got legalized.

Bani went to the place Veeranshu had invited her.

Veer:Bani…months back Aakesh talked about the hidden love between us.But we never spoke about it even after these many months.Though we are best friends a communication gap formed between us when love in.I felt that it’s time to break the ice.

Bani was dressed in her wedding attire.

Bani’s mother Vani caressed her.

Mother:Earlier I made a mistake by getting you married to a wrong guy because of our financial issues.But God is with us.That is why finally he is uniting you with the right guy.

Bani became emotional.

Her mother walked out of the room.

Bani was looking gloomy.

Meera noticed it.

Meera:Why are you not smiling Bani?

Bani:Something is pulling me back from smiling.I am not able to be happy.I am reminded of Aakesh and Rakhi Maa.

Meera:Bani…I know why you are not able to be happy completely.Because you are guilty of leaving your ex-husband to marry Veeranshu.But Bani…you did’nt do anything wrong.You did not cheat your husband.He only wanted you to marry Veeranshu.

Bani was silent.

Meera:This is the time to be happy.Don’t spoil a beautiful moment.

Bani smiled slightly.

Veeranshu-Bani got married.

Rakhi congratulated and blessed them.

Suddenly their eyes fell on Aakesh who was with a girl on the wheel chair.The girl was expressionless and weak.

Bani:Aakesh,who is this?

Aakesh:This is Monisha.Recently I came to know that she is fully paralyzed.She has no one too.So I brought her to my life again.

Bani remembered Aakesh telling her that Monisha was his girl friend who cheated her and after that his life got ruined.

Bani:Aakesh,did you forget what Monisha did to you?Still how did you accept her back?

Aakesh:I also spoiled your life.If you can look after me when I was sick,why can’t I look after Monisha when she is sick?I feel that my life’s main aim…my responsibility is to look after Monisha.That’s why God made me meet Monisha again.From you,I learnt to do things without expecting anything in return.

Veer-Bani looked at Aakesh emotionally.They were seeing a new Aakesh there.

The photographer clicked their pictures with Aakesh.

In the room….

Veeranshu sat near Bani.

Veer:I was surpised to see Aakesh with his paralyzed ex-girl friend who betrayed him.

Bani:Me too.I always thought that Aakesh was a brat.But he proved me wrong.He always had a heart,but in between he had lost it.I was guilty about leaving him.But now seeing him with his love Monisha I am relieved.

He smiled.

He cupped her face and said:Aakesh is with his love and we are also in our love land.

She blushed.

Aakesh has made the decision to improve himself and stop hurting people who love him.

Aakesh thinks he is freeing Bani, but he should have asked first what she wants.

Bani is not sure what she wants. She thought she loved one person but pulled towards another.

Bani is not feeling guilty any more. Aakesh has become a better person because of her.
