Chapter 18: Bachelor/Bachelorette Parties

Girls:Unnati, Jay, Manyata and Isha, decided to start their party 2 days earlier than boys. Unnati was reluctant at first but agreed as Arjun had to go to Devgarh for business. Girls spend the first day roaming around the huge farmhouse property. At night, they bonded over bonfire. Isha's sadness was quite visible. Wiith little help from alcohol, she opened up about her brokenheart. While they continue to chat about boy issues, specifically rohan and isha, Manayta kept zoning in and out of the conversation. Part of her wanted to text Uday but other stopped her. What will I say to him? I need a reason to text otherwise he will think something bad. Maybe i can ask him about work? Ya that will work. (She takes her phone out types a message and then deletes it). As things come to her mind, she would take phone out and then put it back. J - jiji what are you doing?

"nothing just texting Vijaybhai" she lies. She puts her phone away as idea becomes less and less attractive.

The next day, girls were deciding the plan for the party event. Party was going to be on saturday night. They decided to have the party in the garden with formal dinner and then dance. Guest list was long with many rajkumaris and college friends. By 4pm all the planning & booking were complete. Girls were sitting in garden for their afternoon tea. Manyata kept looking at the door, which was noticed by Unnati "kiska intezar kar rahi ho?"

"Kuch nai bhabhisa humne chotu se kuch mangvaya hai baas unka wait kar rahe hai"

After a while, a man tippy toes towards them, making sure not to make any noise. He covers Unnati's eyes who was busy chatting with Manyata.

"Arjun" she says. He removes his hand and she excitedly hugs him. "Aap yaha" says Unnati. "i completed my work so decided to just come here rather than driving to Mumbai. Waise bhi this is on the way". He turns to Manyata "good work momo"

"Thank you dada, ab aap dono get ready. i have surprise for you!" Manyata had set up a table by the pond in their huge garden and gourmet chef has arranged a candlelight dinner. Rest of them decide to watch movie.

By 11, everyone was fast asleep except Manyata. She decides to visit the stable and spend time with the horses. She takes couple of pictures of her horse. Finally, she texts pictures to Uday with caption "my date for tonight". After she sends it, she feels stupid. On the other hand, Uday and boys were hanging out. He notices a blinking light on his phone and smiles when he sees Manyata's name. He replies "who is this beauty?"

"Athena"

"Wow princess, nice name, i like it"

"Thank you"

With no response, she puts her phone away disappointed. After a while, he texts "why are you in the stable this late?"

"Everyone is asleep. I was bored."

"Awww dont worry after im there I will keep you busy all night if you want"

"Haw!!! You are so bad"

"Kya?" He sends, then realizing what she meant he smiles and replies "princess take your mind out of the gutter i meant give you company... hmm on second thought we can go with your idea"

"Shut up Uday... okay bye"

"Good night, i know your dreams will be sweet as it will be about me ;) "

"You wish!!!.... good night"

His smiling was noticed by Sid who says "hmmm smiling and texting... has to be a girl"

Uday looks up from his phone smirking & says "girl nai girls"

"Ya right man" Says Sid. Before others can tease him, Uday heads to his room.

Friday morning - girls planned for a spa day and hired beauticians. While they were busy, Arjun was in living room working to pass time. Door slams open and loud annoying noises, per Arjun, fills the room. "Hey dada" says vijay

"What are you guys doing here" asks Arjun

"Since you were here, we decided to come early" replies Vijay

"Where are the girls?" Asks Sid

Arjun "I dont know they have spa thing going on"

"Lets go freshen up" says kush

Arjun mentions boys are on west side of the house. They pass by a room where girls were in. Door was slightly open & Uday notices Manyata sitting on the bed laughing as he passee by. Sid who was behind Uday says "oh my god, she is so beautiful. I could just... just kiss her right now" hearing this uday says "what the hell dude" he gets angry 'how dare he say that about Manyata' uday thinks. "Who is she??" Says sid. Confused uday says "tu pagal hai??thats Manyata" "Not her the girl next to her" asks Sid. Uday is surprised as he didnt see anyone else. He peeks in the room again, feeling relieved says "thats Isha". They walk to their rooms as Uday tells him about Isha.

Boys spent the day at the beach. At dinner time, everyone was together. Sid tries to talk to Isha but she was in her world. Sid whispers to uday "is she always like this?" "No" says uday. He grabs Manyata attention and in their signals asks her 'whats wrong with isha' she replies in sign nothing just tired. They were about to start eating, when someone says "mere bina khana shuru"

"Rohan finally made it" says uday

"Sorry yaar couldnt leave early was stuck at work, humari star coworker ko jo aap le aaye jaldi" Rohan says while looking at isha. She gives a smile and says "hi" but inside she was hurt. She knew she had to face him but so far it has been terrible and pretending like its all good & nothing has changed was taking toll on her. After he greets everyone, they eat dinner. Night comes to an end with many conversations. However, Uday notices Isha was more quiet than before since Rohan arrived. He could sense she was in turmoil.

By 11, again everyone was in their rooms. Manyata was sitting in her room getting bored. 'He said he would give me company, so gaya halkat' she thinks. She heads down to the stables again. When she reaches she hears a voice "finally someone decided to show up"

"What are you doing here uday"

"Humne kaha tha na i wont let you get bored, so..."

"Oh acha, well you need to notify the other person"

"Didnt need to, i knew you would show up"

"Aur nai aati toh?" Asks Manyata

"Then Athena and I would have enjoyed some alone time, (petting athena) right girl?"

"Oh in that case I dont want to be a third wheel" says M as she is about to leave. Uday holds her hand quickly "princess ab nakhre mat karo" she smiles at him and says "so what should we do?"

"Lets go for a walk?" Suggests uday

Both walk to the beach which was only few steps away. "Its so beautiful... hai na uday" says Manyata looking at the almost full moon reflecting in the water. "Hmmm..."

They have been walking for about an hour now discussing their likes and dislikes.

"How have you not seen that movie?" Says M

"Beacuse it a chick flick... i dont" he gets cut off

"Oh come on... its a great movie"

"Fine ill get to it someday"

"Lets watch it today!" Says m excitedly

"Nooo princess"

"Fine" m with disappointment and pouting face

After few seconds, "okay chalo" says uday

M gets really excited "yay its my fav you will like it"

They get to M's room who puts on "A walk to remember". After a while, uday hears a sniffling sound and turns to find Manyata crying.

"Aww princess, its just a movie. Dont cry" he says

"I am not crying. I had something in my eye"

"Hmm if you say so" he says smiling at her sillyness. They didnt know when both fell asleep. In the morning, Manyata wakes up to find herself snuggled close to Uday's side. She moves to her side, waking up Uday. Bit of awarkness takes over, "sorry princess i didnt realize when i fell asleep"

"Its okay, i guess we didnt finish the movie"

Just then Unnati knocks on the door and says "Manyata, ready for breakfast?"

Manyata panicks and pushes Uday into the bathroom, Uday just smiles at her antics. She opens the door and Unnati says "you are still not ready, party decorators will be here soon"

"Ill be down in few minutes" says Manyata. Unnati leaves and M takes breath of relief. she is about to close the door, when someone pushes it open and comes inside the room.

"Kya kar rahi hai" says Isha

"Im about to go shower"

Isha "Okay jaldi kar ill wait here for you"

"You go down ill join you"

"Nai yaar, i don't feel like it.. plus Rohan is downstairs... you go shower you are delaying"

"Woh actually.." m is trying to figure out what to do just then Uday comes out of the bathroom. Isha is surprised. "Hi Isha" says Uday while Manyata facepalms herself. Isha - "Hi tum idar?"

"Woh.. woh we were watching movie.. haina" M looks at Uday who says "thats what she wanted me to say" winking. M wacks him.

Isha - "Okay stop fighting now"

"See you guys at breakfast" says Uday as he leaves.

After M gets ready, "Lets go" she adds.

"what's going on between you and UV" asks isha

"Nothing i told you we were watching movie thats it just reminiscing our old days"

"Okay" isha says suspiciously

They head to breakfast. Everyone was sitting together again. The staff serves them food.

M- you know what i miss.. isha's infamous pancakes

Rohan - oh god yess! ( uday nods in agreement)

Isha - ill make it tomorrow for everyone.

M & rohan hifing - yes!!

Shortly after they wrap up breakfast, decorators arrive. Girl's party was planned for garden whereas boys party will be in the house. Day quickly passes with party prep and getting ready. Manyata was wearing black long sleeve, round neck sequin midi dress. Around 7:30pm guests starts showing up.

Manyata was talking to Isha when someone closes her eyes from behind. "Ummmm Rohan?" She guesses. "Ab yeh Rohan kaun hai" he says

"Omg Jagat!!" Says M as he removes his hands.

"Isha this is my undergrad batchmate Jagat and she is my friend isha"

Jagat -"Baas sirf batchmate? More like boyfriend"

Isha was surprised at his statement. M says "shut up jagat! Aisa kuch nai tha we are just friends"

"Yes boy who is a friend (winks jagat as M gently hits his arm) waise tumhe kabhi kuch hone nai diya". Jay comes to tell M something and gives Jagat a dirty look. "Hi" says Jagat but gets no response. Isha - "wow that was cold. what did you do?"

"Oh god girlfriend your sister holds grudges"

"Ya that she does" says Manyata

Isha presses them to share when Jagat says "during our undergrad in darjeeling, manyata and I were neighbors. one day I was at a party and I drank a lot. I needed to pick something from Manyata. I go to her place and Jai, who i had never met was wearing pajamas with somewhat messy hair opens the door.... I dont know what was going on in my mind i said "bai memsaheb ko bulao" she got angry and slapped me. I swear at that moment i was sober"

"She would have killed you had I not come on time" Says Manyata.

Touching his cheeks "i can still feel that slap"

"I can have her give you another one" jokes M

"She ignored me eveytime she came to visit Manyata. And apprently still doesnt talk to me. "

"Doesnt sound like jay" says Isha

Manyata jokes - "Give it few more days"

Maithili joins the party as Unnati had gotten close to her after their trip. Both party was on full swing. But god has other plans, as it starts to pour outside. Luckily, the decorator had set up tent. But the heavy rain was making loud noise in the tent. Arjun and Unnati who had snuck away, come back to the tent. Arjun invites the girls to join their party. He goes in first and consult with the boys who agree after some convincing.

Isha whispers to Manyata - god there are more girls here than our party.

M says hmmm as she searches for someone. She spots him talking to a few girls and is not happy...

"God did they run out of money to complete the dress, look how short they are"

Uday finally notices Manyata and is mesmerized. He sees her talking to Isha, Luv, sid and a guy who was too close to her. After a while, they break away and Uday joins Luv and Sid. "Who was that" uday asks

"Thats Jagat Rathore, Manyata's undergrad friend" says sid "and her boyfriend" adds Luv

"Ha ha you are so funny" says Uday

Luv and Sid give him we are serious look.

"She didnt tell me, she has a.. when, how?" He storms away to the bar.

"I told you" says Luv

"I cant believe it, Uday has a crush on Manyata. This should be fun" says sid with a evil grin on his face.

On the other side, Manyata mets Rajkumari Meenaski. She recognized her from the tv segment she had seen about Uday's past relationships. As she is lost in thought, Jagat taps her shoulder. He takes her to the dance floor. All while Uday is angry seeing them & takes some girl to dance with him.

J - Yaar girlfriend, she is the one

M - well tell her then

M gives him ideas to tell this girl. He gets happy and says"i love you" and hugs Manyata. Manyata replies "aww love you too" and reciprocates the hug. Uday who heard partially misinterprets and believes Luv's comment. He pushes girl away and heads to his room. He has no control on himself & punches the mirror. Blood oozes out of his hand. Sid, who was close by when all this happens had followed him up, gets scared.

"Udayveer.... what are you doing"

"Nothing" says Uday smirking looking at his wound

Sid helps wrap his hand & convinces him to come back to the party. Manyata notices Uday's hand and rushes to his side "uday what happened to your hand?" Says a very concerned M.

"Like you care" U replies spitefully and walks away. Manyata follows him and says "kya problem hai? Why are being rude?"

"Princess tumhara drama ho gaya, i can get back to my guests?"

Adamant Manyata stops his path again. His anger rises, he holds her arm and drags her to the quiet study room. "Uday kya huya?"

"Why didnt you tell me you had boyfriend?"

"What" says a surprised Manyata

"Do you love him?" Uday asks sternly

"Im so confused.. what are you saying? And who are you talking about"

"Jagat... your boyfriend Jagat"

"He is not" Says frustrated Manyata

"Stop lying I am not deaf or blind. I saw you both clinging to one another" uday says in a judgy tone and disgust look on his face. M was now angry with all the accusations "i am not lying. And You out of all people are judying me?...a big flirt. 80% of your party is women and most of them your ex girlfriends. How shameful"

Angry Uday grabs her tightly by the arms. Both are intensely looking into each other's eyes while M is trying to free herself. Giving up she says "chodo mujhe".... in her angry state she futher adds "even if he was my boyfriend who are you to say anything". Uday hurt by her comments lets her go but bit forcefully. Manyata stumbles couple of steps. He leaves. M slowly starts to regrets some of the things said. "That was a bit much" she thinks. She goes to her room.

Luv comes to Sid. "What happened sid? Banna wont say anything"

Sid - "Its not just a crush"

Sid narrates what he saw from dance floor to his room. Luv smiles as Sid asks "why are you smiling"

"The invincible Mr. Udayveer Singh is falling in love"

Sid - "Hope he realizes soon"

"Well we can always help him realize it" luv says while winking at Sid. Both get to plotting as Manyata approaches them.

"Can you give this to Uday" as she handes over pain killer tablets and ointment.

"He is right there" says sid

"you do it"

Before sid could protest, Luv takes it from her and says "will do". Luv takes stuff to Uday who thanks him. "It wasnt me" says luv pointing to Manyata. M & U's eyes meet across the room. Feeling guilty and stupid both look away.

Party ends around 2am. Guests had left. Others were asleep except two people who were replying previous event in their minds, each time with different interpretation.

M was in bed staring at ceiling when her door is knocked. She opens to find Uday standing outside.

"Hi princess"

"Hi" she responds weakily

After couple of minutes of awkward silence, he adds "i am sorry about earlier. I.. i was just upset you didnt tell me and overreacted." Says U and he adds "akir we are best friends right (trying to lighten that mood).

Similing weakily she says "ya.. im sorry too. I didnt handle the situation well"

"It's okay princess, it was on me.. (awkwardness slowly takes over) okay good night."

"Ya you too"...Satified, both fall asleep.

In the morning, Isha wakes up early to make her famous pancakes for everyone. As she was alone, she starts singing. Shortly after sid comes down and follows a melodious voice. kitchen and the dining room was seperated by a wall with arched doorway. Against the wall, in the dining room, was a cupboard with antique dishware. He hids behind the wall, carefully peeking in kitchen to see her.

(Song continues) As he is enjoying, he feels tap on shoulder and finds uday standing there. He shushes Uday and continues what he was doing. Uday starts enjoying song too.

Uday spots manyata coming, they shush her and she tippy toes to where they were. "Whats going on" she whispers. Both shh her and signal her to listen.

Baat Chidhe Jo Meri Kahin

Deciding to put the prepared items on the table she heads to the dining room. Hearing her come, the three musketeers run to hide next to the cupboard in the dining.

Manyata was crushed between wall + cupboard and Uday's chest. Sid who tried to hide himself shoved Uday more into Manyata. Both their heart beats start to rise.

Sid accidentally hits Uday's injured hand which leads to a "ouch"

Isha is surpised to hear voice and looks around to find the three. "What are you guys doing?"

"Nothing just showing them around" says M

"the cupboard?" Asks Isha

M was struggling to reply, Uday swoops in "we thought we saw a mouse so checking behind the cupboard"

Still suspicious but Isha drops the topic and calls them over to the table. Slowly others join. Isha's pancakes were well praised.

Unnati - "so guys, wedding is approaching. I hope you all are planning for dances"

The girls starts throwing ideas and getting excited about them. Sid - " i think someone should sing a song". Before her talaneted sister, Jay was volunteered, M picked up on Sid's meaning & suggests Isha. after some convincing she agrees. Isha - "okay i know perfect song but Manyata you will have to dance.. (she nods yes) and i need a guy". After yesterday's event, both Uday and Manyata did not think that would be good idea. Luckily, before luv and Sid can play their cards rohan agrees to dance adding "it will be like old times in Boston". As more plans were being made & everyone energy level was increasing..

The jealousy came out hot and heavy at the sight of another guy close to Manyata. The feeling is very much there for her too when she sees him with other girls.

Chapter 19: I can't help falling in love with you...

Hunting through closet, a somewhat frustrated Manyata babbled to herself:

Its been two days since i have met that halkat veda. Correction, we have hungout or even talked. He didnt come to office yestarday. And today, when he finally came...that to in the afternoon, he just..

Flashback to earlier:

Manyata was walking from washroom to her cabin. As she comes close to his cabin she pauses and peeks inside but nothing. Then she sees him coming from opposite side of the hallway. Their eyes meet. Busy on his phone, he smiles at her and goes inside his cabin.

Halkat veda hi toh bol sakta tha. Is he angry with me still? (Leaning her head against the closet door) Why did i have to say all that stuff. I ruined our friendship. Things are never going to be same...

"Rajkumariji, you are requested at pratice" househelp says while knocking her door

"Ill be there in few minutes" she replies and goes back to her search.

'There you are' says M while picking up a small key. With it she open a small compartment in her closet & takes out a diary. She wipes the dust off and swifts through the pages of her diary reading random paragraphs. " i cant believe i wrote that... (reading further) Why did i stop writing? Though she was not a big diary writer, Manyata wrote about big events/incidences, lessons she wanted to remember or things she could never say or feel being royalty now and then. She starts to scribble down the events from past two days... her phone rings, seeing Rohan's name she rushed to ballroom.

In the other corner of the ballroom, Arjun and Unnati were practicing their steps with a professional choreographer, Neha. M joins Rohan. After a while, she notices Uday, Luv, Kush, Sid and Vijaybhai walking in ballroom.

"Wow, practice has started full on" vijay

"Banna when are you going to start?" Unnati asks

While Unnati and Vijay chat, Manyata's eyes follow Uday. Giving her a hug he says "thanks for coming on short notice Neha"

"Anything for you prince charming"

"My sister couldnt get better choreographer than you". They catch up since college days.

What are they talking about? She wondered

"Does he know every girl in the world." I said a bit out loud. Luckily Rohan didnt hear. Phew. He has time to talk to everyone, cant say Hi to me. Its one syllable "Hi" it takes less than a second, haan nai toh. He is living up to his halkat veda name. (Uday hasnt looked her way) Ignoring me! I will give him attitute too. He is coming here....act cool Manyata.

"Hi dude" says Uday to Rohan

"Buddy, kidher tha trip k baad havent seen you". they hug each other. "Hi princess"

"Hi Uday" says Manyata with a smile

Damn it Manyata what happened to giving attitue.i stomp my feet in disappointment, which was noticed by both. Before they can comment, I was saved by my sister, Jay, who asks Uday to pratice with her. He agreed. Though rohan volunteered as well, that guy cant leave opportunity to be near jay.

"Noo we need to finish our choreography. Lets go" says M dragging Rohan away from there. Couple of hours fly by with their pratice routine.

Everyone was gathered in the dining room. It was fun. So many conversations and room full of laughter. DS was getting tear-eyed looking at the sight i could tell. Some of the best memories we had was back in the day with Jaigarh family.

After dinner, as everyone was dispersing DS says" aaj sabko saath dekh k humhe acha laga. Purane dino ki yaad aa gayi. Aap sab chahe toh idar humare pass rukh sakte hai."

Giri nods his head in agreement & says to Jaigarh group "hum agle do hafte London jaa rahe hai but if you kids want to stay here till wedding"

Oh no nai nai nai. If Uday stays here then this awkwardness will continue....i cant handle it. Please say no.

"We would love to DS" says uday. Sid, Luv, Kush and Unnati nod in agreement.

Great, how lovely.

Others were chatting excitedy and making plans as everyone will be staying together now.

I want to be happy but i am not sure. With how things are now I really dont know. I need some fresh air. I head to terrace, my escape. As i was gazing in the sky searching for stars

"Princess..."

I look to see a confused and sad Uday. I want to tell him im sorry for everything & i dont like this... why is he staring at me like this? Oh ya my turn

"Hi" says Manyata. Silence takes over again. Before it get awkward further Manyata says "sit?"

"No i am good" replies Uday

"Look" both say at the same time.

"You go" says Uday

"I'm sorry, i shouldn't have said all that"(gets cutoff)

"Princess, you shouldn't be. I feel like an idiot. I overreacted. I shouldnt have. Im so.." she stops him

"Dont say it. Lets just forget it all happened??"

Smiling, Uday says "sure". he sits next to her & lightly nudges her with his elbow, says "thanks"

She nudges him back & says "you too"

Manyata was happy to have his friend back. Both chat for a while, then Uday says "i have to go"

"Oh aren't you all staying here until wedding?"

"Yes we will come tomorrow with our stuff"

The next day, Manyata woke up with a biggest smile. She was happy awkwardness between her and Uday seem to be decreasing. As few more days pass by, they were back to normal. They hung out & talked all the time, even their texting resumed.

In Manyata's room

Isha and M were laughing really hard as Manyata narrated about incident from work "....Such a crazy day today, i still cant believe Uday did that. He is so (searching for the right word) sweet sometimes"

I - "Hmm you two seem to be having loads of fun"

"Ya we do. Time just flies by at work. I wish you were there too, would be more fun!"

"No thanks" isha gets up from bed ready to go back to her room "dont want be kabab mein haddi" she adds lightly tapping M's cheeks.

"Shut up" says M not wanting to add anything more as deep down she no longer minded Isha teasing her about Uday. In fact it gave her hope and made her somewhat happy.

Next day In Jaigarh Office

M, Luv & Uday were working on a deal when kush and sid join them.

"What did you buy" asks Uday to sid and kush who went shopping.

"I bought some Hawaiian shirts" replies sid

"You what?" U says trying to suppress his laughter "lets see it" he adds

Sid changes and come back. Uday bursts into laughter. "You dont know anything!" Says a frustrated sid "manyata aap batao kaisa hai?"

"No no no" says Uday while he stands in between "ofcourse she is going to say nice things" U turns to M "princess whisper to me what you really think"

Sid pushes Uday to side "no Manyata tell me your honest opinion". Uday pushes him side now, puts his one hand around M's waist and with other hand holds Sid back to keep him away.

'These two are crazy. They make my day with their shenanigans. Look at uday, he looks so adorable when he gets excited about things'. Taking a whiff subtlety 'hmm is that black code? Seems like it. He smells so intoxicating. No wonder women are crazy about.. nope dont go there, shut up Manyata'.

With his hand still around her, Uday moves sideways almost making a 360 turn to keep Sid away.

I put my hand on his chest for balance. 'Wow these are chisled, just like his face'. I get lost in his face and that smile he was shining, laughing at Sid.... 'He is so flawless. Wow'... have you ever looked at someone one way and then all of a sudden they are no longer just that. Uday my friend.. my childhood bestfriend. But now as i am looking at him he is this amazing guy who makes me laugh, makes me feel butterfly in my stomach when he is close, makes current run through my body with his touch... it doesnt feel like just friendship, maybe I...

"Princess" says Uday tapping her shoulder as she hadnt moved since he left her a minute ago.

"Hmm.. (thnking quickly) sorry i was blinded by hideousness of Sid's shirt" says M as Uday hifi's her. "Wow you are getting meanier day by day. Stop hanging out with this guy" sid to M while wacking Uday's arm. M feeling bad, goes to pacify sid.

Later that night, feeling hungry M gets up and checks the clock. It was 1am in the morning. Not wanting to disturb the staff, she goes to kitchen & decides to make food. "What are you doing" comes a voice startling her causing her to drop a spoon. "Shhhh" adds Uday.

"You scared me" says M "what are you doing here?

"passed by your room and saw the door open"

"Oh so you were stalking me" jokes Manyata

"Ofcourse princess, ab aap ho hi stalk karne wali cheez" winking at M. Not wanting to escalate the flirting, Manyata asks on a serious note "what are you doing up" as she takes the food out in a bowl.

"I had a meeting.....USA client" replies uday as Manayta starts to eat.

"Arent you going to share?"

"NO im starving! Make your own"

"Oh comeon!" Says U as M is teasing him by eating and making "yum" sounds. Still nothing, he grabs her hand & pulls her to him. Being so close to him she gets lost in his aura, while Uday takes the food from her.

'Oh god is that my heart beats? That is so loud. I can literally feel the vibrations throughout my body. Shoot its getting louder, I hope he doesnt hear it. Is he smirking? Yup he hears it....how embarrassing!'

"Princess" he says in a husky voice

'I feels so good when he calls me that'. Lost again in his eyes, an urge to kiss him takes over my body. You only live once i convince myself.Moving my hand around his neck, I lean in ....

M wakes up abruptly.

'Damn it! Third night this week with the same dream'

Unable to sleep, Manyta watches TV to pass time. Morning came slow and it was almost time for breakfast. She goes to shower. When she comes she sees Uday sitting on her bed. 'Not again' she thinks to herself assuming it to be figment of her imagination. Manyata ignores him and goes to fix her hair. "Princess" he says standing up.

Signing 'He is not here. Why would he be here at this time?' She ignores it. "Princess, humne kuch kiya hai? Aap humhe ignore kyu kar rahi ho?" Says Uday as he walks up to her. Startled Manyata says"Uday, tum yaha? Humhe laga hum sapna dekh rahe the". Smirking he says "hmmm so you have dreams about me?" Giving him a sarcastic smile she says "I meant I wasn't expecting anyone".

Uday lets it go- "i had told you yesterday ill come to pick up the Malhotra file"

"Oh yes" M grabs file and hands it to him

"Thanks.... well have a great time off work"

M nods yes. Uday steps closer to her and whispers

"Dont dream too much about me" this causes Manyata to gently smack his arm. He leaves

'Shoot that was close. What were you thinking telling him i was dreaming and all!"

Next few days pass quickly , as M & Unnati work with wedding planner. Then in the evening, practicing their dance.

Slapping his arm "why are you being so sloppy?"

"Manyata i got the step lets move on" says Rohan

"You can't just memorize the step and expect to do the dance. We need to practice, make sure it flows well and that we are in sync"

"I know i know... you just show me the steps and ill pratice on my own"

"We have to be in sync too" says frustrated M

"Ho jayega... just show me. Anyways you have to pratice for your other dances too"

Giving up, M shows him the moves. Shortly after he rushes out telling her he has some work

'What has gotten into him lately'

She goes on with her pratice. Shortly after, Luv, Kush, Sid and Vijay head to Uday's room to grab him for dinner. At his door they hear weird noises and all look at each other confused.

Rohan - "closer i said"

Uday - "there is no more room"

"pull me closer, here take my hand" adds Rohan. The boys were confused and Kush knocks the door yelling "Bhai...bhaiiii"

Rohan opens the door as Luv says "kya chal raha hai?". Both say "nothing".

'What has gotten into her?! I cant, I just cant let it be, i have to try one last time' She thinks. She rushes upstairs, followed by Sid who notices. Isha flung the door open. Anticipating Isha's wrath, M signals others to leave. "What you are doing is wrong!!!" Isha says almost choking on her withheld tears.

Smirking she gets up and walks toward Isha. As she gets closer "loving him was wrong, and now I am fixing that mistake". Adjusting her heavy duppatta, she heads down to the banquet hall to become Mrs. Manyata Aryan Chowdary.

Sid who had followed Isha stood outside the room. M and sid's eye meet and he can see the wall of tears build inside her eyes. As she passes him, he grabs her hand. At that moment it was getting harder for Manyata to control her emotions. She turns around to see Sid's pleading eyes that was trying to convey the message in his heart that -dont do this to yourself and to him-. M shakes her head no and unable to control anymore a lone tear escapes her eye. With that, Sid releases her hand. M heads down, wiping her tears and controlling her emotions. Sid turns to Isha and says "are you okay?"

Breaking down, she runs to Sid and hugs him. He holds her tightly while trying to calm her down.

Uday and M just fight, make up, fight again. The cycle keeps repeating.

The promo looks scary. She is actually getting married. Why?
