Harini, I'm so sorry You mentioned your disappointment of not many Akkas replying to you. But I can only speak of myself here.

A couple of times I tried to reread Sosy or CKP or any other story and dropped it soon enough. I'm able to retain the memories and the feel of these stories that gets me commenting on it odd days . But It's like nothing can ever replace the joy that I got reading and commenting on the chapters when it's fresh off her writing desktop. Like for example I absolutely relished every single word of last night's update in her current story. It's like I'm hanging on to every word of her recent chapters like Unrelated kin or Non refundable. Also I feel like when a chapter gets written it's the flow of the author who puts it out with so much passion that I ask myself, "won't she feel like celebrating reading how it reached her readers every time she puts out a chapter. So I think I prefer to stay current and acknowledge / respond to her current flow of thoughts on a particular story ,that helps her stay motivated or find the joy she gets from writing that particular story after an engaging day at work.Not just Nisha, even I find so much joy in looking fwd to reading and commenting . Something's amiss on days I'm not able to for whatever crappy reason .

And I'm sorry , maybe that's why I was not able to connect or acknowledge much to your emotions on a reread. But that's just me wired this way I guess. I understand NOW how it feels with you . I found your sharing the story with your MIL very cute. Happy rereading Harini.

I have to foremost mention here that most of Nisha's female protoganists, are born pranksters, have an innate ability to amuse themselves with the pranks they pull, irrespective of how hard a life situation they are engulfed in! Any why do we humans unfailingly take pleasure in bumping up our height by a few inches/ cms and why do we unfailingly knock down a few pounds/ kgs off our body weight. Also every time you do that , equally unfailingly Spouses / partners call you out on that . Ha Ha. Little prank, little tease here and there makes an insufferable / oppressive day pass. It made for an adorable reading.

Otherwise it was a Very impactful chapter this Non refundable . Every word of it was so powerful . I am so moved . It has me thinking Gee, everything around her other than the joy of her weight she's carrying in her tummy sucks.

Thrown off her balance at work, her residence, her parents. As a woman she has the maximum impact of the hit because so much is happening physically and emotionally . It has me immediately raging why the bloody hell should she be answerable to Rohan or Mrs. Mitra. But then I know that's the trap we have surrounded ourself with for generations that only this trap feels normal as if we belong .

But if I were to be Rohan, or Mrs Mitra I think I get where they are coming from to react the way they did. That's the social veneer isn't it? I think , Every one reacting to something is wired to think foremost for themselves, "what is in it for me in this situation?

Like Rohan or Mrs Mitra is thinking now, it's not going to be good for our establishment's goodwill if the word gets around you know. Or Mrs Mitra not parting with the rent or deposit thinking well, she did not officially vacate before going to live whatever heck of a place she is living now!!So she owes me anyways for my loss replacing another PG.

And I loved loved how Samidha communicated to him about her day how she kept the happenings simply matter of fact and the things she felt she has to share with him on her personal stock and savings connected to the life with and death of Bik.

Life's a hard toss, you never know how the coin flips most part ...of your own hands and doing?!!!

I was gaining too much weight during my pregnancy and the whole fear about Diabetes kept all those cookies and chocolates away from my diet.I still remember the urge to eat oreo and ferroro rochers that was gifted for me...and i was brave enough to say "No,i will not eat...
This blabbering was for Nisha who is giving Samidha a lot of cookies every now n then😆

I love this story...but my heart cant handle this much pressure the 2 are going through...(had a lot in the past few months and now I have given a time out for all those probs...and enjoying with my kid)
Every time Nishas 2 updates comes in a single page,I feel bad that we are not responding and just waiting for her updates more n more...hope the tension release soon and the baby be born in a good family atmosphere...
