It was indeed funny. Dry humor at its best. Yep men do have it slightly easy at times 😊 By the way cap is an easy wear ...let's think of something more slippery . 😊

This reminds me of my trip to Tirupati just after wedding as a new bride with my in laws. My mil insisted I wear nine yards sari (she would help me drape) and my co-sister and sil wore it too but I was adamant I wouldn't until my husband wore veshtadai 😆 . He gave me excuses that he doesn't know to drape it by himself none in his family can do it for him. I don't remember if I relented or not (need to check with my mil) probably I did but had to show my disconcert anyways 😃 .

With CKP, it's a permanent restlessness. Not just 10 hrs. You get one and then I think I need one more and it goes on. I've liked all her stories and the leads but I think this is the first where the man has got me flat out rooting for him a little extra. My ideal blend of hmmm let's say everything. Ha Ha. Enjoying this a little more perhaps now that we hv her other ones to compare. I like men with egos and I don't mind even if its a little huge and a little offensive even but I've got to be able to respect his ego.

But what are people without flaws. There's no one that ideal. Waiting for the whole yards that's a mix of of moments filled with spice, tension, fun and all things associated with Family 😊

Tirupati is tough. You have those endless chambers to cross with lakhs of people even in a special queue.
I remember we took one of the sevas to get quicker access. I wore sari the first time immediately after marriage but have preferred salwar suits after that every single time , because in blouses you tend to sweat a little more given the heat and the crowd in tirupati. But hubs loves veshti, not veshtadai. He has never missed an oppo to wear veshti till date and he insists that they are maintained crisp and new all the time. He loves to be a maapilai all the time as far as veshti goes. I enjoy wearing saris here though as it doesn't make sweat through your blouse or Inskirt. I got a few blouses stitched a little different for my old sarees during my short trip to India. Planned a little prior to have though blouses done thru my sister so that they are ready . Now I enjoy wearing those pattu sarees with the new blouses

I used to dread wearing sarees. I used to take atleast an hour to drape when I got married. Now I find it is the most elegant dress in middle age. It brings out the grace in anyone without one naturally!

I don't remember if it was Alka or Suman who mentioned it. I agree that it is one of the sexy dress !

I agree, I love to wear sarees nowadays and can carry it confidently. Back in the college days, Jas and other roommates used to help me drape one for college and hostel days and was never confident about saris. Jas and I have made sari popular among our neighbors now.
