There was a tamil serial which glorified a guy basically breaking a girl's engagement and torturing her family till she agreed to marry him. The excuse was he loved her. she decided to marry him and torture him back by refusing to have a family life with him. It became a huge hit. It was based on a hindi serial apparently.

In this nonsense environment when love is twisted I am very surprised and pleased to see a man like Adhiraj. Like Shruti said no tantrums like throwing the phone. He respects Anami. No zabarbasti confession. I really like this. I am tired of AYM, throwing phones, pulling and pushing all in the name of romance. We would run away in RL. Those are scary. This respectful romance is why I like Adhiraj. I did not in the beginning especially because of the age gap. But I like this respectful romance.

I also love Gayathri. She is such a lovely grandma. The bonus is Vatsalya appearing in any episode. Good episode. Tomorrow's precap though.

anita i agree wid u & oders abt CVs not glorifying that type of luv which is so predominant on TV & sumtimes films also.

i m also tired or rather i will say i never liked such heroes or romance . i think such luvers r obsessed & obsession means psycho.

and i agree we cant see such men like adhi on ITV esply MLs.and if there r such MLs which r mostly in 2 heroes show i.e in luv triangles ,they either make that ML -ve or reduce his SS 2 shine oder one whos either stalker or MCP or like u said push-pull types.

and thats the reason i dont like most of ekta or gul's MLs or thos epH who resort2 such things🤢

btw i'd seen sum ppl who call such MLs i.e who respect their luv or wife or give them space & time & even if not get same reciprocn but still support & even give their name & luv 2 FLs out of wedlock kid ,as doormat or spineless.

i mean such low level thinking i cant even say.why? bcoz either they dont like the ckt or like their stalker/MCP etc type ML or luv that actor whos playing such ckts.

What I liked most about today is that Satrupa and Gayatri didn't press Anami to know what happened. They trusted Anami enough and understood enough.

Then the second thing I liked is how Adhiraj didn't press or push or shout or throw a tantrum. He understood Anami. He's hurt, but he understood her.

This is truly a love story outside the norm. I was half expecting an angry Adhiraj to confront Anami and start stalking her like a maniac. Or he forcefully marries her. Or something else like that, but no. This is real.

i agree wid u & same thots except last para. i dint think like that

but i still will say i m happy they dint resort even bit of that.

Janas, to be honest I am not a big fan of Thoovanathumbikal..I liked watching it and this is one of the movies which made me a fan of Mohanlal..I suggested you this movie because it is considered a classic in Malayalam film industry and known for Mohanlal-Padmarajan duo-Mohanlals acting and Padmarajans direction.Its majorly loved by boys/men..btw you should have watched it in Hotstar with subtitles.

My all time most favourite movies are perumazhakkalam and Thanmathra..I suggest you to watch these movies and I am sure you won't regret watching it..Both movies are available in Hotstar with subtitles..perumazhakkalam is remade in Hindi as "dor" but I haven't watched it so I recommend you to watch the original version..and do let me know if you are watching these 2 movies..I would love to know your opinion.

Yes yar go for it...that move I watched when I was in high school and I cried for weeks..And my family also functions the same way esp my dad so I was over sensitive regarding it.

The best part for me was Gayathri counselling Anami. Of all the women around Anami ATM, she is the one who had gone thr' what Anami is going thr and her marriage is rock solid even after all these years. ANd she married a man who wooed her when she was in college and loves her that much still.

I wanted Dadi to be her guide as she transitions into a woman from a tomboy/girl and happy to see that😃

Anami talking to an imaginary Vats was poignant. She lost a chance to share her feelings openly with a sibling,like Adhi was doing with Tanya, may be much more openly, as they are/were twins.

Loved Mhaima as Anami wondering when did he start loving me? Beautiful and such a girl thing to do

Adhi reacted as I expected.I knew he was going to be heart broken and will cry & probably skip dinner tonight😆 Loved Anami calling him first & letting him know what she thinks of his hasty confession.

Sat is herself when she's with Vats, real or imagined.Love the way the Cvs are keeping a character that died in the first few epis still in the narrative and using him as a catalyst for change.She's coming out of her grief and like Vikku wants to look forward with the child she's left with.

Shreya yes I was also expecting Adhi throwing the phone as it is so soapish these days 😆😆 and was pleasantly surprised to see him hurt, but not going overboard with it.😃

Simran yes dadi had married the man she loved, but then with Satrupa that was not the case and with Anami it has to be the case. And I feel Anami's love story will be a bit of Vikku- Gayatri and a bit of her parents as some past needs to be closed.

Janas watch perumazhakalm only dor is nowhere near the original.

Sorry guys, was occupied and could not reply properly. Shruthi & Ardha, will do. I am actually copying the names in NP so that I don't misspell them :).

Coming to the serial, Bella mentioned in another thread abt RKC going off air. I think there may be a time change coz, SP had earlier mentioned some other serials, not this. But I am sure coz. SP may have a brainwave. I just hope SP leaves this serial alone to not abruptly close and come to a correct logical ending not one that's hurried.

I've been closely foll. MM's acting for the past 1 week. She has literally riased her bar. Amazing, starting with that exposure scene, where she brought out the angst in her voice to the confusion when Adhi declared his love for her and y'day too. Now this is sheer brilliance. To be able to stand out against a powerhouse performer like NS talks volumes of what she has achieved. She has a bright future ahead. And I am talking from acting point of view. OC, Hindi serials or movies need to recognise that.
