@Padma love him or hate him but then he is Suman's father. This truth cannot be altered. Also yes he did a lot of horrible things, but again though for lime light sake he did send his daughter to study in Delhi. There is nothing much in him, but it is said that one good act washes off all your sins if it is done from heart. Kanyadan is one such act which symbolically giving the hand of Mahalakshmi to Narayan to sustain life and thus helping him in his duty.

That's expected from Suman... Actually she tried it smoothly on her father not to blame Sree unnecessarily...but then he is determined to get humiliated at her hands...Well done Suman!!! Explanation of Kanyadan is superb!!

amazing Suman finally got the chance to trash the man who trashed her .. Though I wanted her to do so in public so that the whole world knows how virender is.. Waiting for the deepdan ... Hope there are cute moments in them

Hi can't do a detailed analysis, sort of tied up but I can see a changed Virender who will come and do the kanyadan. Who will accept his Misdeeds and seek forgiveness from Varma family especially Suman Varma.

To be honest this was nothing more than an slap on the wrists for Virender. It was as if a naughty boy was caught with his hands inside the cookie jar and reprimanded for it. Publicly his H&D is still intact. For me he still needs a good shaking up before he wakes up from his illusion.

Privately they might think whatever of him, but Suman and the Varmas still respect him enough so as to not publicly humiliate him. Actually during times of trouble these guys would not even think twice before rushing to Virender's help, which cannot be expected from his brothers.

When he reflects he should realize that all this respect, despite his misdeeds, is because of his wife and daughter. Credit to Bhavani, she managed to inculcate very good values in Suman despite the very hostile environment and personal mental and physical torture.
