hey i just read the etire thing nd God it is amazing...tht prithvi shld simply diappear so tht the 2 of them r together for a long long tyme

"Kripa,this is Jamie Newton."Angad led a small boy about 4 years of age to Kripa. "He wants to go outside.Would you mind taking him?"

"Course not,"Kripa smiled warmly and bent down as Angad left."Hi Jamie,I'm Kripa."

He held out his hand proufously.She took it. "Player to meet you."

"You mean pleasure sweetie,"she laughed.

"oh...oops...yup thats what I meant,"he was such a cute kid.Brown hair,innocent smile,ocean blue eyes...who could think those eyes couldn't see...

"You know what Jamie.You'll be a real catch for the girls when you grown up."she laughed again.

"Girls!No way,"he shook his head."Girls have cooties."

"Ohhh rite I forgot...what about me then?"

"Ummm...you're nice...I'm sure you don't have them."

"Good,"she stood up.because we're going to be spending a lot of time together today."

"Are we going to go outside?"

"Sure we are."

"Ms.Walk said we cant go outside without the canes.But if someone is with us,we can hold their hands."he twirled his tiny walking cane in his hand looking unsure."Can I hold your hand?"

Kripa felt tearful.She hugged him close."Of course."

"great,then lets go...I think the ice cream truck is here.I heard the bells,"he let her take his hand and go outside.

When the day passed,Kripa didn't even realize.She and Jamie ate ice cream like he wanted then went to a music store.

"You like music Jamie?"

He nodded his head."My mommi plays music.She can sing also!"he said proudly."she even teaches me to play the...the..."

"guitar?violin"she prodded.

"no no..is those things you blow into..."

"flute?trumpet?"

"No starts with a r...re....recorder!"

"Oh wow,you can play the recorder?"

"mmhm...I don't need eyes to play it either!"

Kripa spent the whole day earning about what seemed to be a new world.A 4 yr old had given her a new perspective on life and not to take things for granted.

They had gone to a nearby mall where Jamie wanted to play a game.He would touch a piece of clothing or product and guess what it was.Kids get excited at anything,Kripa knew but was amazed at how happy Jamie got everytime he guessed something right.

"You'll visit me again right?Because I had fun with you today...you're nice."

Kripa kissed Jamie on the check."You're the sweetest kid ever.Of course Ill visit.Angad and Kripa said their goodbyes and went outside.Angad noticed Kripa looked a bit down.He stopped her and pulled her into a hug.

"what happened?"

"Nothing...just being with Jamie made me realize how different his world is...and that you went through this before also...and dunno if I've ever been any help to you that time."

"Aww Kripa,forget about the past ok?"he stroked her hair."Insecurities kicked in then-"and Prithvi,he thought about it silently.As that thought came,he wondered what was going to happen next.Kripa was engaged to Prithvi...how and when was she going to tell him...they hadn't even really talked about all this...Looking at her resuming to be happy now however he let the subject go...Ill talk to her later he decided.

They went to a nearby italian resturaunt to eat dinner.As they were leaving after finishing dinner,they heard the manager sounding very frantic on the phone near the doors.It seemed the musician that usually played for the guests couldn't make it tonight and there was no replacement found.

"Angad,you can sing for them,"Kripa suggested.

"What?me?no way Kripa."

"Angad singing is something you love to do and so good at it,please sing,if not for them,then me...?"

Angad shook his head.Singing like this was his past and he told Kripa that.

"Oh really?"she asked fiercely."Well I'm your past too,why dont you just forget and leave me also then?"

Angad gave a small laugh looking at her praisingly."babe has anyone told you,you're so persuasive?...ok I'll sing but we have to ask the manager 1st na."

Kripa gave a big smile."No problem."She walked over to talk to manager and was back within seconds."He said he would be very greatful Angad.If you can the music of the song you want to sing then go ahead otherwise tell the band and you have to start right now!"

Angad smiled,kissed her on the forehead and left.

Kripa resumed sitting on her chair and in a few minutes Angad was out with a mike.The music started from the live band in the back and he started singing.

Kripa knew the song was for her as he sang it.She blushed softly as he made his way to her and took her for a dance in front of the stage.He continued singing looking into her eyes.
