It was morning nachiket was watching her sleep ragini woke up "morning nachiket" "morning" "did you get any sleep" "a few hours" ragini smiled "what are you doing about work ragini" "I haven't thought about it yet nachiket but I want to work until I am 7 months then I can go on maternity leave" "on one condition" "what" "you take it easy no late nights and no weekends" ragini looked at him and saw the concern in his eyes "ok nachiket" "thank you" ragini snuggled into him they lay there for a bit then got up and got ready for work. It had been two weeks since they found out ragini was pregnant everything was fine they were so happy nachiket was looking after her so well so caring it was weds morning ragini woke up she was in pain she heard nachiket in the shower she sat up and saw spots of blood on the bed she shouted "nachiket" who came flying out of the bathroom "whats wrong ragini" "I need to go to the hospital" he went closer "why" "I have cramps and look blood" "ok lets go" nachiket quickly threw some clothes on "ragini can you walk" ragini got up "arggh" nachiket picked her up and took her to the car he drove them to the hospital he was holding her hand "its going to be ok darling" ragini nodded. They arrived at the hospital they checked in and were shown to a room ragini was on the bed nachiket was sat by her side holding her hand "its going to be ok darling" the doctor finally came ragini told her the symptoms and that she was two and a half months pregnant "I will do a scan and see what is happening" "ok" nachiket helped ragini lay down the doctor started the scan ragini was looking at nachiket "can you see anything nachiket" "not really" nachiket looked at the doctor "whats going on is the baby ok" she stopped the scan and turned to them "I am sorry but there is no heartbeat" "no check again please check again" nachiket said ragini sat up "i am sorry Mrs Khanna you have suffered a miscarriage" nachiket looked at ragini "nachiket our baby" nachiket took her in a hug she was sobbing nachiket was crying aswell he just hugged her tightly the doctor went out saying "I will leave you alone for a while" a hour later the doctor came back "Mr and Mrs Khanna I need to discuss what happens next" ragini was laying on the bed nachiket sat next to her "look Doctor there must be some mistake ragini has been fine no problems at all maybe if you did the scan again" "I am sorry Mr Khanna the scan was conclusive" nachiket looked at ragini "I want to go home nachiket" "ok" the doctor explained to nachiket what would happen next and that ragini would need to see her gynaecologist in three weeks time "ok thank you" the doctor went out "ragini I will go get the car" "I will come too" nachiket held her hand and they went home they reached home "I am going to bed nachiket" "ok" ragini went upstairs nachiket went into the living room ragini sat on the bed and cried meanwhile downstairs nachiket was sat in the living room crying after about a hour nachiket wiped his tears and went upstairs ragini was in bed he sat down next to her and caressed her hair "darling do you want something to eat" "no" "just some tea and toast you have to eat something before you take the painkillers" ragini didn't speak "I will be back" nachiket went down and made tea and some toast he went back up "ragini" she sat up he put the tray down he sat down "what about you nachiket" "I will have some later" ragini eat a bit and drank some tea nachiket gave her the painkillers and she lay down nachiket went to get up she grabbed his arm "I will be back in a minute darling" nachiket went downstairs put the tray in the kitchen he banged the cupboard "you have to be strong for her she needs you" he said to himself he went back upstairs he lay down on the bed next to her "nachiket" he moved closer put his arm around her waist and pulled her closer "I am here darling its going to be ok i am here" ragini held his arm nachiket could hear her crying he just held her they stayed like that for a few hours then nachiket got them food and gave ragini her medicine he sat down "nach
