Chapter-6

In The Dungeon

It was 9 of the morning. Arjun had come with his bike for about 50 km away from central Delhi. He entered a dusted, two storied underconstruction building. He went to stairs and some birds flew away. This had held his secret which he didn't dare to tell anyone. He pulled a mechanic iron switch. A gate stretched revealing the two roomed apartment. He saw two men playing cards spreading some chips packet here and there. They were restricted for any intoxication.

"What do you want , Atif!"

Arjun banged on the table. The cards spread everywhere spoiling the game. The person named Atif looked up to see the long figure in surprise.

"Oh see who is here to meet us! D.I.A agent Major Arjun Ranawat!"

He clapped laughing.

"Shut up! How did this news got leaked to the police!"

"Oh wait a minute, what does D.I.A stand for?"

The another person smirked.

"Defence Intelligent Agency!"

They laughed out taking tgeir sip on their juice glass.

"Don't laugh like a fool. First tell what happened."

"Listen bro, relax. You need not to worry. I have fixed everything."

He patted his back. Arjun removed the hand in anger.

"May I know what are those?"

He hissed.

"I am the flight of the Manali flight where the border keys are going. Almost all the DIB agents will be there. You might not know, but even you are on that flight. Those minions of Defence Minister will surely come up I say. This Pranab Mahatey is behind all these attacks. Bloody Defence Minister. Who made him that thing!"

He groaned and offered Arjun a glass of juice.

"Be cautious, Atif. Police are the main pocket pickers of these ministers.

"You be safe. You have Police itself in your house."

He laughed out and hung his hand on his shoulder.

"Don't mock. All are not same."

"I know mister Major. These big cats are irritating you know. Increases our job. They also made us villain in front of all."

Atif fisted his palms.

"I will proof what we can do for our country."

"I know you can."

Arjun patted his shoulder. He relaxed himself a bit and said with a smile.

"Now go. It's getting late."

"Shoot! I need to go home. Bye!"

They greeted each other and Arjun left for Jeet's house.

Draupadi gladly strolled in her new room. She felt the soft white curtains and looked below the busy road of Delhi. Chitra came there smiling with a tray of food on her one hand. Draupadi smiled and signalled to sit down.

"Hey sweety! How is all going!"

She kept the tray and sat before her.

"This is best day of my life!"

She stretched her hands laid down on her soft chair.

"Of course it is. Well Jeet kept a lunch in his home. Will you come?"

She took her glass amd offered another to Draupadi while she rounded on her chair.

"I would have. But will Boss allow?"

She said while taking her sip and playing with her fingers.

"I will manage. Just you come!"

"Umm okay I will see that."

She kept her glass and digged herself in the piles of file. Suddenly Mr. Kaith banged in her room excitedly.

"Drau, you won't believe what happened!"

"What?"

Drau stood up in surprise closing her files.

"Pranab Mahatey is arrested!!"

Arjun entered in the arena of Jeet's house with his bike. His father, Daksh Kaur was a proffesor in a renowned college, where Arjun had graduated. Their house was not that much big. Just a thing to lead on. Both of them were childhood friends and more than friends. Dev, Arjun and Jeet, this trio were brought up together and had been together till now.

Arjun entered the house as if it was his own. Je saw Daksh's father sitting on a chair and reading newspaper. He looked at Arjun siding his newspaper and he smiled.

"Arre Arjun! You are here!"

He kept the newspaper aside.

"Now wake up this crazy brat. Chitra called millions of times. And all I could say he slept. See this."

He took Jeet's phone and showed his call history. Arjun laughed nodding his head.

"Don't worry I will see him."

He tip toed to Jeet's room and peeped in silently sliding the door. He saw Jeet snoring loudly lying on the floor.

"God knows how will Chitra live!"

He looked at the messed up room. On one side bananas lying, T-Shirts spread everywhere and T.V switched on. It looked like a disaster. He saw a jug of water lying near his bed. Evil grin formed on his face. He picked it up and spilled the whole jug of cold water on Jeet. He screamed at the top of his voice and rose up while Arjun kept laughing clenching his stomach.

"Idiot!"

He wiped the water and groaned.

"I know I am!"

He grinned mischeivously showing his tongue.

"Now pick me up!"

He raised his hand towards him and Arjun pulled him up.

"Your fian'cee is gonna kill you I say."

Arjun helped him standing while saying.

"50 missed calls in a row."

He showed him the phone and snatched it moving playfully and smirking.

"Shoot for god's sake give it to me!"

He forwarded his hand while Arjun kept backing it. Disbelief formed in his face.

"You're impossible!"

Arjun only kept laughing. Suddenly his eyes diverted to the flashing news airing on T.V. Jeet smirked noticing him and snatched the phone and started checking it. Arjun stood still while a evil grin formed on his face.

"Hey Arjun?"

Jeet snapped in front of him and he removed his hand in front of his view.

"Recent news discovered that Defence Minister Pranab Mahatey has been arrested in his residence along with some black money and papers. Investigators suspects his involvment in recent terrorism occured in different areas of Delhi. The defence Ministrtand Administrative sector remained unavailable for any kind of statement."

Arjun laughed out murmuring under his breath.

"The real game has begun, Pranab."

Precap: He took Draupadi to an unknown and unusual place in jail

"Where we are going?" Her voice trembled.

"You will know that sweety."

His evil smirk made her uneasy.

"Can we continue?"

"Yes we can!"

He pinned her on a wall holding her hand with an evil grin.

"Leave me!"

"Scream!" He laughed out. Tears and anger fumed in her cheeks

She heard a bang on the door.

"Arjun!!"

Finally updated ! Very interesting chapter . Loved the new twist . Who is the new guy !ugh . I will kill you mata . 😆 Pranab is kaliyug ka Dury or Shakuni ? 😕

Anyways he looks evil . And Arjun is a DIA 😲 oh I am so having Akshay feeling . 😉 and loved the relation Jeet and Arjun share .

And what ! The cliff hanger . 😡who is that annoying our Drau ? 😡 I am sure Arjun is gonna save her and they would one eye to eye moment . Dare you not keep that moment 😆

I want ArDi now . Come on mata . This ain't fair .
