Chapter 2

She cursed her fate and the people who planned this camping trip. She was trying to get her tent ready but wasn't able to and the girl who was suppose to share tent with her and help her in setting it up, doesn't even know 'h' of help, which added more into her irritation.

"Need help?" A husky voice came from behind. She turned in a swift moment and found him standing there. Rey look at her from head to toe, and only one word could describe her, 'perfect'. He couldn't take his eyes off her, she had that irritated yet cute pout which made him smile. Few strands of hair were falling over her face, he had an urge to tuck them behind her ear which controlled and look at her with a smile.

"Yes, Please. I don't think I'll be able to set up the tent on time.." Taani said to him without stuttering, for which she mentally patted herself. Rey smiled at her and helped her in setting up the tent and just then, the girl who was sharing tent with taani came there, her eyes sparks up when she saw Rey there.

"Oh! hello, Rey." Kenny greeted him with wide smile, Rey narrowed his eyes. Kenny was what people call school s**t. She had been with almost every guy in the school except him & his friends, even the nerds who hardly step out of the library had been with her. Taani kept her bag inside the tent and come out, she frowned when she saw Kenny talking to Rey.

"Taani!" He called out for her softly, she look at him with soft smile.

"Mrs. Sharma is calling us there, lets go." Rey said to her, it was a lie since he wanted to get away from kenny who was ready to jump on his bones and also, he wanted some time alone with his girl. Kenny glared at taani as she walked away from there with Rey.

She gave a confused look to him when he led her to the other side of camping area where as mrs. sharma was on the other side with students.

"Reyaansh, where are we going?" Taani asked him, Rey look at her, sensing her nervousness & hesitation.

"Away from the bitch who is still glaring at you." Rey snickered, Taani turned around and found kenny, still standing there and throwing daggers at her.

"But why she is glaring at me? I haven't done anything-" Taani said to him, confusingly. Rey chuckled softly. Taani grew more confuse, first Mr. Popular was being so sweet to her not that he wasn't before, but he never tried talking to her, then Ms. Bitch was throwing daggers at her like she had stole her favorite candy.

"Leave that. Tell me, do you like camping?" Rey asked her, diverting the topic as he didn't wanted to waste time in talking about Kenny. They stopped near a tree and sat on a big stone.

"No! I hate this camping thing. Not a fan of forest, they are scary." Taani answered him cutely, giving a sheepish smile to him. Rey laughed and kept his hand on hers which was rested on the stone beside her. Her head snapped at him, he passed a soft smile to her which eased her nervousness. They sat in complete silence, comfortable one. It was soothing, just looking at each other and trying to understand whats there between them. He knew about his own feelings but she was confuse.

Her heart was beating loudly against her ribcage, he makes her feel something different. Make her heart beat faster than usual. Butterflies flutter inside her belly whenever he come close to her. And it was exciting & scary, she had never felt this way before for anyone.
