she might known that they are perfect for each other.. somewhere deep down lekin uski insecutiries itni hain that she is unable to opnely support her. this is very normal, its not easy for those whose own relationships have sucked to trust and believe in other's relationships because their own worldview is so clouded by suspicion, hurt, unhappiness and cynicism. isliye she might feel a tad bad for II, but will not openly support her.. because a hurt and betrayed II brings some level of justification to her own feelings about relaitonships.

Grand parents love and grand parents bias.

As a parent, it's tough to see your loved ones being scolded by anyone, sometimes even by your spouse.
But a lot depends on how you handle yourself even when you don't feel good about it.

At times siblings with their children could gather at their parents place and you are stuck with a situation where there's an unconscious bias and treatment meted out to the children leaving the mother of that child in distress of wanting to protect her child from Bias.
And there could be a situation where there's no bias but stll leaves one parent smarting.

It's very vita l to realise that what you say or do as a parent is going to influence that child . Negativity rubs on the children too .

The way vandu is going, there could be a potential situation of vandu smarting over Mrs. Iyers treatment to shatabdi and Nivi. Vandu has to be careful with her thinking here.
