Chapter 33

After many days of restlessness Arnav was working peacefully in his cabin without any distraction and now he knows the decision of asking her out was good and he was finalizing the design for the upcoming fashion show and he was very much pleased about the outcome but at the same time he was not able to complete the show stopper dress only because of that particular women but now he was all set to do it.

Thinking about her he could not help but to wonder about the date and he himself don't know he can laugh like this and surely she had something in her which was making him do the unexpected and surely he was disturbed by this thought.

What Now?

They had gone for a single date but what to do next and he was completely clueless about it.

This is very new to him because he had not thought about anyone like this or went on a date with anyone for that matter.

And then comes the scar in her hand what had happened in her life that she thought to cut herself even though he don't know the reason he was hell angry at her for doing such thing and he is not going to forget or forgive her for this in his whole life.

What The. From where did this forgiveness come from? Who I'm to forgive her in first place but he doesn't know now, one day it will be more important for him to forgive her.

Her condition of being Platonic relationship had surely thrown him off guard because he surely didn't expected it at all and still now he couldn't figure out why he accepted it. She was hell one attractive girl he had met so far and surely he doesn't know what hers reason for this too. He couldn't figure her at all she is getting more complex for understanding

Then comes the unexpected hug when he least expected from her.

Even if the hug had only lasted for a minute and even if it is not a hug according to him, he will have to lie to himself if he said he was not affected by the hug at all it was like a soft cushion was pressing in his hard form. She was very small for him and he can't remember when was the last time he had hugged someone precisely women.

He could never forget the date no matter what he was literally in bliss throughout. When he had put his hand on her small of her back he was feeling something in him that he can't name the feeling but he liked it and was relieved when she didn't object it and the unexpected compliment he had received throughout the date have thrown him off guard and after that he was sure that it was only attraction from her part and not more than that. But that thought didn't sit well with him but he don't want to think about it any further.

The only reason he had thought to ask for a date was he can be in peace because she was disturbing him high time but now he was almost all the time thinking about her but at the same time he was content about the new happening in his life.

Few days passed like the same and there was no improvement in their relationship but the good morning and good night message didn't stop. Without knowing to them itself, both had fallen in a certain routine in their daily life.

Khushi had also informed about the new development about her life to her friend and she doesn't know this thing could make her friend over excited. She could still remember Vidhya's excitement in her speech whenever she speak to her and Khushi now was really happy.

It was Saturday morning and Arnav was hell irritated because there was more work pending only from his end and now he needs to rush up to US for some days. He have already many thing in his plate and now this US trip had joined it and he could not avoid it too but suddenly he was having this feeling to be with her, he knows he was behaving very different with her and he really liked it.

Without thinking anything further he called her in a blink forgetting that this is the first time he is going to speak to her in phone.

Khushi was washing her clothes and she was not happy at all about it. She hated this type of work cleaning and washing and she was just wishing that this work finish quickly like a magic but suddenly she got a call in her mobile so she quickly went and took her phone without checking properly and said Hello.

When Arnav heard her hello only did he come out of his thought and then it sunk to him what he had done without thinking and he don't know what to do..

When Khushi didn't hear any response from the caller she thought to check whether the call had disconnected or not and that's when she saw the caller ID and she could not help but to blink her eyes to confirm that it was indeed true so when she was ok with that she just said Arnav.

He was contemplating how to speak to her that's when she heard a simple Arnav and he was completely thrown off guard. He wanted to beat himself for having this kind of reaction only hearing his name from her mouth and he could clearly say she was surprised hearing so he just said Khushi without knowing what his simple Khushi will cause her because he don't know she was also was travelling along with him in the same boat.

When Khushi heard him calling her name Goosebumps erupted in her skin she really don't know how come his voice is so husky but quickly admonishing it she cleared her throat and said

Hah, Arnav.

When Arnav heard her he knows what he had to do

We are going for a dinner tonight Khushi.

Oh okay she simply said it.

Hope you are not busy he said hearing her plain okay. He really doesn't know what he was expecting from her in first place.

What Arnav? I'm always free for you she said controlling her smile.

Here Arnav thought that he was not getting a proper reply from her but she had always was ready to flirt with him.

Khushi you... He started but he doesn't know how to complete it.

Hmm nothing will pick you up in evening said that and he kept his call without even saying proper bye..

What the escaped her mouth he had kept the phone on my face. Damn how could he do that to me? Wait I will see him later with that thought she was ready to complete her work.

It was evening Arnav was all ready to go for the second date and he was walking down the steps without taking his eyes from the phone.

Downstairs whole family was sitting in the lounge and was having tea and at the same time they were chatting with each other because it was Saturday everyone was free and that's when everyone heard the footsteps, so all turned towards the stairs to see Arnav descending down the stairs all ready to go somewhere.

Everyone was shocked could be an understatement seeing him like this because this is the first time he is going out of the home in weekends. He may not be a family man and he may not like to join the family discussion but no matter what Arnav won't attend any meetings or go to office in weekends and he will be home and but sure he will work from home so this was a big shock to everyone.

It's the first time they had seen him go out in weekends and what they didn't know was there are many first which was coming on their way.

In the curiosity without thinking anything Anjali asked

Hmm chote are you going somewhere?

That's when Arnav looked up to see his sister and then his whole family seeing the shocked expression only he understood what he had done. He mentally chided himself for this but now he can't do anything so he just said plainly..

Yes Di. He knows nobody wont prude him further said that and he went from there but he doesn't know one thing was how crazy his family is?

Akash what is happening here Anjali still asked in daze still looking at the place where Arnav was standing few seconds before.

Don't know Di he whispered shock was visible in his voice.

Is there any meeting scheduled today?

Di, you know about Bhai. He will never schedule any meeting in weekends.

But wait Di, surely Aman must have known wait I will call him said that and he took his mobile but Anjali was quick to stop him.

I will ask him directly tomorrow when he comes here she said with a glint in her eyes.

Khushi was all ready to go for a date and she was early because she did not have the big task in her hand what to wear for date and all thanks to Mr. Raizada so, she thought to wait for him in the garden.

Khushi was strolling in the garden and that's when she saw Aman who was sitting in the other end like he know she was looking at him he too looked at her and waved towards her and she too waved back and then Aman walked towards her.

Aman what is the surprise I'm seeing you in garden today?

I was kind of bored Khushi.

Ohh.. Khushi just said that and she was expecting Aman to ask her where she was ready to go but then only it clicked her he would have known.

So she just eyed him and asked you know everything right!

What I know Khushi? I don't understand what you are saying?

Aman.. You know where I'm going right!

He just hmmmed in response.

Idiot hereafter I'm not going to say anything to you! Did you hear me? Khushi said to him with irritated expression.

Khushi, you are a child sometimes said that he took his hand to ruffle up her hair.

That was the scene which welcomed Arnav when he entered inside the gate.

Khushi was quick enough to dodge his hand and said don't you dare Aman. How many times I have asked you not to touch my hair.

Oh really! He catches hold of her hand in his and tried to touch her hair once again that's when he saw Arnav who was walking towards them and suddenly he stopped what he was going to do.
