Rey shook his hand with reyaan's then embrace him, he felt an unbreakable connection with him, like he is connected to him, have some relation with him which he shrugged off, may be he is over thinking. He smiled at his mother who came their and sat opposite to him.
"Rey, dont you think Reyaan is just like you. I mean, agar tumhara koi beta hota na toh woh bilkul reyaan jaisa hota!" Rey heard his mother say, then turn toward reyaan who was busy in playing with aarav sitting beside him on sofa. His mom was right, they are really like each other, may be thats a coincident.
"Uncle" Little reyaan called out for him, for some reason rey didn't like him calling him uncle. He turn toward reyaan who was staring at him with his big big innocent eyes.
"No uncle, do i really look that old" Rey joked making him laugh, rey was confuse why he felt hurt when reyaan called him uncle.
"Toh kya bulau?" Reyaan said, he rested his chin on his palm, thinking deeply now what to call him. Rey look at him with amusement twinkling in his eyes. He was such a cutiepie, Rey was getting more attached to him.
"Buddy! Yes, You are my buddy from now on." Reyaan exclaim excitedly, rey's mom chuckle seeing her son with reyaan, they both were looking so cute that she couldn't stop herself from looking at them with admiration.
"Chachu, You know Reyaan also loves dancing" Aarav told him. Rey look at Reyaan, a smile playing over his lips.
"Really, you also love dancing" Rey asked him as he lifted him and made him sit on his lap.
"Yes, I love dancing-" Reyaan told him, Rey smiled seeing the passion for dance in the eyes of the little one. He was busy in talking to Reyaan, the more he got to know to him the more he love him. Love, he has started loving reyaan in just short span of time which was amusing to himself. After her, a thing called love didn't exist in his life but meeting Reyaan, he couldn't help but drop the walls he had built around himself and love this boy with all his heart.
"Rey, Get ready, We are going to see Mittals." His mother told him, Rey look at his mother with confusion.
"But why mom?"
"Your dad & i have decided that It's time you get marry and We have select Mr. Mittal's daughter to be your bride." As soon as thee words left his mother's mouth, Anger rosed in him. He made Reyaan sit on the couch then got up, facing his mother.
"Mom, I'm not going anywhere, nor getting married to anyone." Rey told his mother in stern tone, letting her know that he was serious.
"But why, beta? It's high time you think about your marriage-"
"I don't want to talk about it. Mom, Don't force me else I'll return back to UK, and this time I will not come back-" Rey shouted in anger, he hates it when his mother & family members forced him for marriage. Rey turned to Reyaan, who looked scared. He closed his eyes to calm his anger, his intentions were never too scare him. Rey picked him up in his arms.
"Baby, Are you okay?" Rey asked him with concern.
"Your anger is scary-" Reyaan mumbled, and he nuzzle his face in his neck, the way he spoke it took him to his past, where someone had said same to him.
"Taani, where the hell were you? I was waiting for you from past one hour?" Rey shouted at her in anger when she entered the fire escape. Tears brimmed in her eyes, fear visible in her hazel orbs, he closed his eyes in regret.
"Sorry, taani. Please don't cry, baby. I'm sorry-" Rey stepped forward, and pulled her in his arms.
"Your anger is scary-" Taani mumbled cutely, burying her face in his neck. Rey held her close to his heart, rubbing her back to calm her.
"I'm sorry, baby-" Rey spoke in daze, imagining her before him but soon realization dawned up on him when he found a beautiful pair of hazel staring at him. He smiled at Reyaan, who return it by giving him toothy grin.
"Rey, stop it, dude. You were really seeing her in Reyaan? Seriously? But his eyes are so similar, they had same innocence her eyes used to reflect- Rey stop it now! Stop thinking about her! Tujhe toh adat hai har kisi mein usse dhoondhne ki" Rey was talking to himself while little Reyaan was staring at him with confused expression.
"Buddy, are you okay?" Reyaan's voice brought him back into reality. Rey look at him and smile broadly, seeing Reyaan's face automatically brought a smile on his face.
"Yes, baby, come with me, I'll show you my room.. Aarav are you coming with us?"
"No, chachu, mom is calling me. You guys go-" Aarav answered, Rey nodded and walked upstairs with Reyaan in his arms leaving his mother behind, who was wondering how to get her son agree for the marriage.
