"Come on Dr. Shalini main kuch nahi janti bus ek cup coffee ki hi to baat hai" says Dr. Mishra, as he pulls her inside the mess. Her voice grabs Chaubey's attention. He turns to look at her and starts studying her, meanwhile Suriji gets busy with his work, leaving Chaubey alone.
Resting his elbow on Suriji's counter Chaubey notices Dr. Mishra and mummers to himself, "yaar ye Dr. Mishra bhi kamal cheez hain. Ajeeb lagta hai ki inhe aj tak koi nahi mila. Hairani to mujhey yahan ke teachers ke upar hoti hai, abhi tka koi inhe pata hi nahi paya!"
Suddenly Captain Rajveer reaches him from behind and places an arm around his shoulders. "Oh hello Sir!" "Hello Chaubey! Tum kuch keh rahe the?" asks Captain Rajveer, taking Chaubey by surprise. "Nahi main to bus Dr. Mishra ki tareef kar raha tha" Captain Rajveer gives Chaubey a stern look, but that doesn't scare Chaubey. Smiling, Captain Rajveer asks, "tumhe mujhse bilkul darr nahi lagta na?" Feeling embarrassed, Chaubey says, "Kaisi baat kar rahe hain Sir, apse nahi darunga to kya Suriji se darunga?" Captain Rajveer widens his eyes, with a blush on his face. Having heard that Suriji reaches him once again and pulls Chaubey's ear and scolds him, "abey khoteya agar Brigadier Chandok ke baad KMA mein log kisi se darte hain na, to wo Suriji hain. Samjha ke nahi?" asking that he pulls Chaubey's ear even more.Crying in pain, Chaubey replies, "Aa... haan...haan.. Suriji samajh gaya!" "Very good!" scolding him, Suriji let go of his ear. Captain Rajveer enjoys the whole scene, and laughs at them.
"Waise Chaubey tum free kaise ghum rahe ho?" asks Captain Rajveer creasing his brows, as they turn away from Suriji's counter, so that they are facing the cadets in the mess. "Sir wo bus abhi sub check karke hi aya hun" informs Chaubey. Smiling, Captain Rajveer says, "relax mujhey tum par pura bharosa hai, main to bus mazak kar raha tha. I am sure tum apna kaam bakhubi kar rahe ho". "Bilkul Sir, sub par nazar rehti hai humari. Kon kitna asli hai kitna nakli subka khabar rakhta hai apka ye rakhwala" tells Chaubey, scanning the area simultaneously. "Ahmm... kya baat hai Chaubey sahab, aj bohot jazbaati ho rahe hain aap?" asks Captain Rajveer, jokingly. "Ab kya kare Sirji, jab tak ki apki shadi nahi ho jati apka dhyan rakhna Chaubey ki zimmedari hai" replies Chaubey, casually. But his words succeeds in skipping Captain Rajveer heartbeat, taking him by surprise. Then Chaubey adds, "aur jaisa ki apne kaha tha ki apki shadi already ho gayi hai iss desh se, apne uniform se. Ab of course apka desh ya apka uniform apki choti-choti baat ka to khayal rakh nahi sakta ki kab apko coffee peeni hai, ya kuch khana hai, to socha iski zimmedari hum le le". Rajveer thinks about all this, connecting all these lines with Naina and suddenly dismisses the idea, feeling it too weird, but the thought, even it was for fraction of seconds succeeds in making him to blush. He feels thankful, that Chaubey didn't notice the turning of Rajveer's cheeks into crimson red.
Trying to distract his mind, he asks, with a pinch of humor "Chaubey Sahab kahin koi purani yaad to taza nahi kar di maine?" "Purani yaadein nahi, purani log kahiye Captain Sahab!" Listening to his reply Captain Rajveer creases his brows and stares at Chaubey, trying to understand his unspoken words.
Suddenly Suriji intervenes, "Sorry puttar ji to interrupt par Sirji apko nahi lagta ki aj Dr. Mishra ji kuch pareshan lag rahi hain?" Captain Rajveer glares Suriji. Getting scared, Suriji says, "ahm... ahm... oji lagta hai meri ankhon ka dhoka hoga, hain ji!"saying this, he tries to look elsewhere with his wide eyes, avoiding eye contact with Captain Rajveer.
Smiling at his innocence, Captain Rajveer pats on Suriji's shoulder, and says, "Suriji aaj main..." then he looks elsewhere, trying to avoid eye-contact with Suriji, trying to joke with him, then continues, "wakayi mein maan gaya hun ki aap ek bohot hi behtareen soldier hain"! Pointing an index finger towards Captain Rajveer, Suriji asks, "aap mera mazak uda rahe hain?" Captain Rajveer and Bunty, both try to hide their smiles, but fail miserably and they burst out into a laugh. "Thehr ja tu khoteya..." says Suriji to Bunty and acts that he is coming after him, Bunty runs away. Suriji laughs, standing at his counter. Captain Rajveer laughs simultaneously.
Suddenly Captain Rajveer's eyes fall on Pooja and others, and the smile on his face starts to fade away gradually.
"Abey yaar ab to mujhey tension ho rahi hai, akhir apni Phoolan hai kahan?"Alekh stares Huda with a look on his face saying, 'kisey yeda bana raha hai?' Yudi also has similar expression on his face. He moves his head a little to the right then back at place, indicating,'whom are you kidding bro!' Huda notices their look.
Getting up from his chair, he holds his waist from either side and says, "Oye tumhe kya lagta hai, mujhey Phoolan ki fikar nahi hai? Meri Mummyji kehti hain, 'ki beta jab kisi se koi rishta jodo na to puri immandari se nibhao. Aur main apni dosti puri immandari se nibhata hun. Samjhey ke nahi?" Holding his hand, Pooja pulls him down to sit, "Oye Huda, tu wrong signal kyun pakad raha hai? Tujhey koi SMS nahi bhej raha, baith ja!" "Haan Guru aap please gussa mat hoyiye, baith jaiye!"
Standing at the same place Captain Rajveer notices that Naina hasn't joined them yet. Getting eager and impatient to know about Naina, Captain Rajveer walks forth but stops abruptly, realizing that it isn't a good idea to ask them anything. Suddenly, through his peripheral vision, he notices Naina entering the mess.
He turns to confirm, and to his relief he finds her, walking towards him, but soon his heart contracts on realizing that instead of him, she is walking towards her group. He sighs inwardly. He doesn't fail to notice that she is trying to avoid eye contact with him. He keeps staring her, noticing her each move. He checks her overall look and realizes that her maang is not filled with the mark he gave her, but the part of her forehead, just under her maang has the imprint of the color of the lipstick. But he is sure, no one would notice until and unless someone would deliberately try to search for it and he knows there is only one person here who will crave for searching the mark again and again, and it's no one else, but him. A mark which states and reminds him again and again that she is his, and only his. So he assures himself that the situation is under control, except that he doesn't know about her mood, about how is she feeling about everything that happened.
Suddenly Naina feels uneasy, as if someone is staring her. Although she has an urge to search who it is but she resists her urge. As if somehow she knows who that could be! Noticing the sudden change in the color of her skin, Rajveer walks towards her, taking each step aching slow. He understands that she is hating the prolonged period of her wait, but somehow he enjoys her current state, which is a mixture of irritation, frustration and something else.
On the other hand, Naina burns in the dilemma of whether to stay or to leave the place at once. But somehow her feet get stuck to the place. She feels it difficult or rather impossible to leave the place when she knows, he is coming to meet her!
At last Rajveer reaches them and greets them 'hello'! "How are you?" he asks, and notices Naina, whose rate of heartbeats increases, thinking that Rajveer is addressing to her. Smiling secretly at her vulnerability, Rajveer continues, "Cadet Huda?" Naina sighs in relief, as he completes his question.
Although looking towards Huda, Rajveer's attention is certainly on Naina. He smiles again secretly, having noticed her sigh. "Sirji main bilkul theek hun. Aap kaise hain?" Smiling he answers, "main bhi bilkul theek hun". Then he suddenly turns towards Naina and asks, "apki preparations kaisi chal rahi hain?'' As he senses that Naina is about to meet his eyes, he turns towards Yudi and completes his line, "Cadet Yudi, kaisi chal rahi hain apki preparation?" Naina keeps staring Rajveer, her already blushed cheeks due to his mere presence, turns to a slightly dark shade of red.
The sudden question takes Yudi by surprise, "ahmm... ahmm... Sir, it's going good. No problem at all" answers Yudi, nervously.At this Huda says, "kya no problem at all? Kal chaar (4) questions to maine tujhey learn karwaye itni mushkil se. Kabhi kuch bhul ja raha tha to kabhi kuch".Yudi feels embarrassed. His face giving away all the hints of how embarrassed he is.
Smiling, Captain Rajveer says, "Relax Cadet!", trying to lighten his mood. Then addressing to Huda, Captain Rajveer says, "Huda..." then shakes his head, indicating to stop teasing Yudi. Then again looking towards Naina, he asks, "kya apne..." but he realizes that she is no more getting nervous, perhaps she has become accustomed to what he is doing. He thinks, 'alright Naina if you think ki tum mujhse bach jaogi then you must certainly check whom you are dealing with!' "Alright guys hope you have a good day I'll meet you later", saying this he gives a last look to Naina, not expecting her to look back and with that he leaves.
Naina sighs as he leaves. Alekh notices her reaction and understands that something is going on between the two. Naina once again remembers the moment he had filled her maang with the vermilion. She feels uneasy on remembering that. "Ahmm... main abhi aati hun",saying this she leaves the mess, without even waiting for any permission from them.

As she was walking by the empty corridor, Rajveer ushers from nowhere and pulls her along him, without even bothering to look at her for permission. Taking her into his room, he closes the door behind them. Before he could say anything, Naina speaks up getting irritated, "Kya ye zaruri hai ki jab bhi hum apke room mein aye, to aap mujhse gussa ho?" On listening to her protest, his eyes softens a little. He declares calmly, "uss pal ke baad se maine tumhe ab jakar dekha!". He doesn't take the pain to explain which pal he is talking about! Naina remains quiet, her eyes looking downwards. "Kuch kaho Naina, please", he scolds her mildly. Placing his hands on her shoulders, which sends her electrical feeling all over her body, and sets her heart to beat even faster, he turns her away from him, towards the mirror.
They enjoy a small eye lock into the mirror, both serious.On realizing that she is staring him, Naina lowers her eyes. Rajveer points towards her maang on the mirror. She takes her hand towards her maang to rub off the imprints of the lipstick, but Rajveer grabs her hand before it reaches her maang which takes her by surprise. They enjoy another eye lock in the mirror. Placing her hand back to her side, Rajveer uses his thumb to erase the imprint properly, throughout this time their eye lock remains intact.
Having done that, Rajveer declares, "chalo at least tumne meri ankhon mein dekhna to seekha!" (Rajveer-Naina tune begins in the background as they stare each other in the mirror). Then Rajveer tells her, "Naina, kyunki hum 24 hours KMA mein rahenge, aur hum kisi ko bata nahi sakte ke..." he again looks into the mirror, meeting her eyes, expecting her to understand what he is trying to tell her, then continues, "tumhe sindoor lagane ki zarurat nahi hai", Rajveer completes the line nervously. Rajveer accepts silently, that he still needs time to accept the relationship he is going to share with her henceforth.
Naina turns to look at him. It's then that Rajveer notices something! Out of curiosity he asks, "Maine pehle kabhi nahi dekha tumhe ye pehne hue?", and points towards a chain she is wearing. Although she had been quite serious throughout this time, but this question of his makes her to laugh. Rajveer stares her, puzzled, unable to understand what made her to laugh. Of course he didn't ask anything stupid or funny. "Kya hua? Tum hans kyun rahi ho?" "Aap bilkul ek typical husband ki tarah baat kar rahe hain" informs Naina and continues laughing.
Blushing on her comment, Rajveer lowers his eyes and asks, "really?" "I mean", chuckling and blushing he says, "I am sorry agar tumhe bura laga to". His innocent apology swells her heart. Unable to bear her feelings anymore, she says, "aap bhi ajeeb hain, mujhse bina puchey meri zindagi ka itna bada faisla le liya. Aur ab itni si baat ke liye mujhse sorry keh rahe hain?" Her words set their hearts to beat at altogether a different level. They both keep staring each other.
(Rajveer-Naina begins in the background).
Realizing that he must explain her, he says, "Naina humare beech jo kuch bhi hua... mera matlab uski wajah se ye mat sochna ki tumhari koi responsibility hai meri taraf. Tum bilkul free ho, jaisi zindagi jeena chahti ho jeeyo. Koi restriction nahi hai meri taraf se". Rajveer keeps staring her, desperately wanting her to understand his feelings. Understanding his state too well, Naina gives her an assuring smile. "Main bhi apse yahi kehna chahti thi, iss rishte ko apni duty ke beech mein kabhi mat aane dena aap. Ahmm.. ek aur baat... wo... aap...". Sensing her hesitation, Rajveer encourages her to speak, "Kya hua? Kuch kehna hai? Tumhe jo kehna hai bina kisi jhijhak ke keh sakti ho", he assures her.
Lowering her eyes, out of shyness, Naina says, "aap please kabhi aisa mat sochna ki aap kisi bandhan mein bandh gaye hain. Agar... agar future mein apko...", taking a deep breath and calming herself down, she continues, "apko kabhi koi ladki pasand aa gayi to..." as she begins with this, a frown appears on Rajveer's face. Still being bold, Naina continues, "to meri taraf se koi restriction nahi hoga". Having completed her line, she exhales the air she had been holding all this time.
All of a sudden, out of anger, Rajveer holds her by her upper arms and pushes her towards the wall of his room, until her back touches the wall and says in anger, "tumhe kya lagta hai Naina, maine tum par koi daya ki hai? Mehrbani ki hai?", they both keep looking into each other's eyes. (Rajveer-Naina fast tune begins in the background)
Where on one side Naina's eyes are reflecting the pain, he is inflicting into her by pressing her arms tightly in anger, there on the other side Rajveer's eyes are reflecting the pain, that her words inflicted into him. Their heartbeats as if racing with each other. How can she even think that he did it out of pity or anger? How can she think that he would ever like to break the only relationship which he can call as family? Yes Naina is his family henceforth!
Unable to bear his anger, Naina apologizes "I am sorry", with almost teary eyes. Leaving her he says, "Naina, tum mujhey kabhi samajh hi nahi payi!", and he turns to leave the room, when Naina holds his arm from behind. He doesn't turn back, out of anger. "Apne apne sawal ka jawab to liya hi nahi!" Rajveer learns to look at her and creases his brows, unable to comprehend which question is she referring to. Understanding his confusion, Naina pulls forward the locket of her chain, and says, "aap janna chahte the na ki ye kisne diya aur ye kyun pehna hai maine?", then she looks at Rajveer, who looks back at her expectantly. "Ye mere paas pehle se tha", she answers and adds quickly, "issey pehle ki apko aisa lagey ki kisi ladke ne mujhey ye diya hai, to main apko ye bata dun ki ye maine khud khareeda tha!" Her words makes him to laugh lightly. Naina smiles a little, feeling happy on seeing him relaxed and smiling. Then she opens the heart shaped locket and reveals what's inside it. The content takes Rajveer by surprise. It swells his heart. Unable to decide how to react, he starts with "ye...", Naina continues him, holding her locket, "main academy mein sindoor to nahi laga sakti to socha ussey ek locket mein band karke rakh dun", then she pauses to look at him, then continues, looking back to her locket, "I mean ye exactly sindoor to nahi hai, uss lipstick ka thoda sa powder bana kar..." she trails off the sentence, knowing that he'll understand.
Her small effort and gesture swells his heart. Extending his right hand, with a smile on his face and too much of care and love in his eyes, Rajveer brushes her cheek. Naina doesn't hesitate to lean on his touch, the touch of Rajveer, the touch of her husband.

Dr. Mishra calls Natasha after reaching her room. "Come on Natasha just pick up the damn phone" she curses under her breath. As soon as Natasha receives the call, Ritu starts yelling at her , "itna time lagta hai phone uthane mein? Kahan thi itni der se?""Relax Ritu Di, kya hua aap itni hyper kyun ho rahi hain?""Hyper kyun ho rahi hun? Ye tum mujhse puch rahi ho? Kitna time ho gaya hai Natasha mujhey KMA mein aye hue? Almost four months aur main simple sa kaam nahi kar pa rahi. Wo triggers mere hathon mein hone chahiye the iss waqt, aur ye dekho mere haath, ek dum khali hain!" she yells at her over the phone."Main bhi yahan khali nahi baithi samjhin aap? Maine koshish ki thi, apke uss Rajveer Singh Shekhawat ko fasane ki but nahi hua kuch. And at the first place, apko kya lag raha tha Di ki wo ek pal mein mera deewana ho jayega? Mere agey peechey mandrane lagega? I don't understand, jab aap itne time se uske saath hain, aap ussey apni taraf attract nahi kar payin to main ek pal mein kaise kar sakti hun?" "Hey! Hey! Hey! Don't you dare talk to me like that. You know what, main agar chahun to abhi uss Captain Rajveer ko apni ungli pe nacha sakti hun, par mujhey koi shok hi nahi hai" says Dr. Ritu, rolling her eyes.
"If not Captain, to koi aur sahi!" suggests Natasha."Koi aur?" thinks Dr. Mishra, that suddenly she receives a message on her mobile. "Rukko kisi ka message aya hai" she informs Natasha and asks her to hold the call.
Bringing her mobile in front of her to check, she reads, 'mujhey aaj tumse milna hai. Mujhse KMA ke peechey waley road pe akey milo theek nau (9) baje'. Putting the mobile back on her ear, she informs Natasha, "aaj raat ko bulaya hai milne ko boss ne!""Oh really? Kis liye?""Well I guess shayad ab orders mil jaye, 'red box' ko shift karne ka" sighs Ritu."Lekin 'red box' hai kahan?" asks Natasha, curious to know about it. "Captain Rajveer ke room mein!" answers Ritu, in anger. "What? Ye baat aap kaise janti hain?" asks Natasha, shocked. "Kyunki main apna kaam karna janti hun" replies Ritu, getting angry. "Anyways ek kaam karo, tum bhi mujhse raat ko milna KMA ke peechey wale road pe. May be around dus (10) baje. Unse milne ke baad main tumse milti hun, then I guess we can discuss ki hum kya kar sakte hain. You know yahan aise phone pe baat karna is too risky" "Alright, no problem" saying this she ends the call.

Next Morning
Neelu comes to KMA to meet everyone. "Neelu tu yahan kya kar rahi hai?" asks Yudi, as she enters the mess. "Kyun bro main yahan nahi aa sakti?" she asks, staring at Alekh, who doesn't look at her even for once. Placing her hands on the table, and bending forward, towards Alekh, she asks, "a hero, chalta hai kya?" Yudi looks at her in shock, "Neelu, tu kaise baat kar rahi hai ye?" "Chill bro, Alekh aur meri setting hai, aap beech mein mat bolo. Kyun beedu?" winks Neelu, towards Alekh.
Alekh gets up and was about to leave the place, when Neelu walks in front of him, and in a hushed tone, she says, "Maaf kar de na. Kab tak gussa rahega?" Yudi stays focused on them and interrupts them by asking, "kya baat kar rahe ho tum dono?" "Bro aap jante ho aap par big B wala role suit nahi hota so please, stay away" says Neelu, politely. "Neelu tum meri behn ho", Yudi reminds her. "Aur Alekh ki dost bhi hun main" replies Neelu confidently. "Alekh agar tu ne kuch bhi galat kia Neelu ke saath to..." warns Yudi. "To?" asks Alekh, creasing his brows, staring Yudi directly. Getting up Yudi folds his arms and says, "Main uska bhai hun". At this, Naina gets up, folding her arms just like Yudi, looking straight into his eyes, she declares, "aur main uski behn".
Not realizing what he is saying, Yudi blurts out, "abey ye kab paida hui?" All of them look at him in disbelief! Suddenly Yudi realizes what he just said. Showing his index finger, he tries to word his emotions, he tries to phrase the word 'SORRY' but fails miserably, when he finds Naina and Alekh glaring at him, like they are going to kill him any moment. Realizing that Yudi is feeling sorry for what he said, Alekh smiles. "Chal ab zada bholi mat bann apun ke samne, ja maaf kia" declares Alekh, in a hushed voice, and smiles at her, Neelu smiles back, feeling relaxed. Naina smiles too, shaking her head.
Sighing, Naina notices that Rajveer is no where to be seen. His absence makes her anxious. "Pooja tu ne Rajveer Sir ko dekha?" she asks her. "Naina apna Shahrukh kab kya karta hai, kisi ko pata hota hai kya?" asks Pooja, with a smile. Her words send chill down Naina's spine.'Sahi kaha tu ne Pooja, wo kab kya karenge, wo kisi ko nahi pata hota', she thinks. "Ahmm... okay. Chal class ka time ho gaya hai".

As they enter Major Nayyer's class. Huda says, "Oye Phoolan yahan aa na hum sub mil kar ye soch rahe the ki Lolita Ma'am ki class kis bahane se skip karein" "Skip? Tum log Lolita Ma'am ki class kyun skip karna chahte ho?" "Arey Phoolan kabhi-kabar to azadi milni hi chahiye na humein apne kitabon se?" "Tum log azad hi to ho, apne decisions khud le sakte ho bina ye sochey ki dusron par iska kya affect parhega. Yahan tum log as such kisi ke saath kisi rishtey mein to nahi bandhe hue".
Her words grabs Alekh's attention. "Rishta dil se bandhta hai. Jab kisi ko dil se apna dost maan lo to uski soch, uski pasand-napasand ka dhyan dil khud rakhne lagta hai. Bandhan khud bandh jata hai. Waise tu yahan kiske saath itne gehre bandhan mein bandhi hui hai, jo aisi baatein kar rahi hai?" asks Alekh, concerned for Naina. Meanwhile Huda gets busy in talking to a girl cadet, so misses to reply Naina. "Haye rabba tum dono ke SMSs to mere range se bahar hi hotey hain humesha", says Pooja, addressing to Alekh and Naina and takes her seat. Huda stares back at Naina for sometime, then indulges back into his conversation with a girl cadet.
Alekh gets up, reaching Naina pulls her by her hand, to reach an empty seat, away from others. "Kya baat hai? Koi locha hai kya?" asks Alekh, sitting next to Naina. "Nahi to" replies Naina, not meeting Alekh's eyes."Dekh Naina, tu bahar se jitna marzi ye kyun na dikha le ki tu kitni kathor hai, mazboot hai, par ander se tu kaisi hai, ye apun achi tarah janta hai", Naina stares at Alekh and smiles. "Tu janta hai Alekh, Naveen Bhaiya bhi mujhse aise hi baat karte the. Unse bhi main kuch nahi chupa pati thi". "To main bhi to tera bhai jaisa hi hun", smiles Alekh."Nahi Alekh tu mere bhai jaisa nahi hai, tu mera bhai hi hai!" declares Naina, placing her hand on his hand, on the table."Wada kar Alekh ki aj ke baad kabhi khud ko anath nahi samjhega. Agar samjha to yaad rakhiyo teri ek behn bhi hai, agar tu anath hai to wo bhi anath hai", her words make him angry. Creasing his brows he says, "ek kaan ke neechey lagaunga agar jasti bolegi to", and Alekh hugs her. Releasing her from his hold, he asks her, "chal bata ab kya baat hai?" "Alekh..." as she starts, her voice cracks out of too much emotions.
By the time she recollects herself, Major Nayyer enters the class. Alekh gets frustrated on his entry at the wrong time and glares at Major Nayyer. Naina's heart skips a beat and she forces herself to think again, whether she really wants to tell about Rajveer's and her relation? She knows she can trust Alekh for life but somehow she feels, she is still not ready to disclose the sudden change in the relationship status of her and Rajveer. Sighing, she decides she'll leave it for later. She won't tell anything to him yet, after all she herself needs time to get accustomed to her new relation.

During the class, an orderly comes to Major Nayyer with a file. After checking the file, he orders him, "jao jakar Captain Rajveer ko dikha do ek baar ye". His name grabs Naina's attention, and sets her heart to beat in a different rhythm. She clutches the part of her uniform underneath which her locket is placed safely, touching her heart, away from eyes of others.
"Sir wo to academy mein nahi hain" informs the orderly to Major Nayyer, which again grabs Naina's attention."Nahi hain? Kahan hain wo?" asks Major Nayyer, all serious. "Sir mujhey to nahi pata" replies the orderly."Theek hai tum jao", ordering the orderly, Major Nayyer turns to glare at Naina, with a knowing look. Naina maintains the eye contact, determination clearly visible in her eyes.
After the end of two classes Naina gets more restless. "Pooja mujhey aur koi class attend karne ka mann nahi kar raha.
