I loved Kalpana's analysis, yes, there are "certain behaviors" each family expects from the other. Sree could have had a beer habit too, but Appa would have gone into the marriage (ya like its his own marriage) happy and content with no resentment, Sree's beer drinking would not have irked Appa

Sree ignoring his daughter as he works on his startup, or sending II to India by herself and never visiting himself, would have pissed him off

But Appa would have never really "hated him" like he hates R&B

i knw dee its a story but somehow it bring a littl/greater change within me...i wnt to share onething i ws never ever atracted by any child...i never wilingly observ any child antics...but nowadays where ever i find any child i just stand there n observ its antic n think abt lasya ,shravu,nandu...this is only one change which i explain...there r soo many changes which i feel nowadays aftr reading this story...
