He opened the frig...There were neatly labelled containers... a bouquet of chilled Post-itsEmbarrassed

There were notes on every container

I was reading the 12th thread, allthanks to Nouf...after she returns to delhi...dude is wandering in his apartment and see her gold saree, trinkets, post it notes, whole apt. smelling like DII flat...

Nisha...can we have something along these lines...I am still 50% angry dude...😡

"We do play poker u know u shud come" Manya suggested at breakfast
Not sure why she was but she was up early

II had her financial health appointment in an hour and 22 minutes... she ate on the go, as Mahavir packed her lunch

"I dont know how to play" Ii smiled

"U must learn, because a family that plays poker together, stays together" she cracked a bad joke

"U shud train her Manya" Vik said proprietorially

"I am already taking a class today called "working in groups" II giggled

"How can u do that?" Manya asked

"Take a class?" Ii asked

"No I mean work for a company? They have so many requirements,
do this, do that, follow this book, get that certification" "Ughhh being employed is scary"Manya said

"Umm... what would I do if not this? Maybe teach? Ghar par do teachers hain" II smiled

Manya shuddered... "I taught undergrads, a bunch of brats. I quit" she said proudly

II smiled "Ya Ive heard they can be out of control"

"Which year does ur sister teach?" she asked

"Mostly 3rd, shes been lucky warna people are stuck on first year for the 1st 20 years" Ii said proudly

"I am serious II, if u want u and I can play poker every evening" Manya offered

"I will only play stuff if Lasya can play" II raised an index finger

Manya laughed... "then u can only play with spoons and plates or soft blocks, sorry"

II nodded smiling, reminiscing "Last nite we went for chaat, aap to gayi nahi"

"Oh ya... umm.. Vik had some work" Manya shut down

"Oh? Sam makes awesome chaat" II said

"Sam is perfect no? Hamare ghar, her kids are the best, she cooks the best food, Jeeju is amazing" Manya slowly let her twinge of jealousy slide out

"Umm.. Lasya is cute" II said getting up

"Umm ya, her kids are gorgeous too" Manya said uneemotionally

Ranjan walked back in after taking a call outside in the patio

"Puttar kinne baje?" he asked

"I have a class all day Dad, us se pehle mujhe kaam hai" II stopped
"I will go back to my desk after training ends at 5 to do email, maybe 8? 8 ish aap ja sakte hain?"
"I am told GHZB and Dilshad garden were great, we have to start planning CP, Rohini, Mall Rd etc
so any way 8?"Ii asked

Ranjan nodded smiling at her longish explanation

Manya laughed too "He must listen to u all day no?" she smiled

II smiled at Manya "I was thinking aloud"

"Dont do the class shlass... just start going to Excelsior" Manya offered generously

Ii was startled "Umm.. I have a job, I love KMPG"

"They will make u do 100 things for the pay check" Manya argued

II bristled

"I dont mind being employed, I love it... aap ko jaana chahiye, u dont like teaching or employment" II said smiling

Picking up her lunch case walked out as her phone buzzed a reminder "Leave home for Bank meeting"

She was caught in traffic and so lost 15 minutes... he called her at exactly 8, his voice sleep drugged
Like he had gone back to sleep after sexting her with book marks 3 hours ago

"Did the meeting get canceled"
"Nahi main late hoon" II mumbled

"Will u push it out?" he asked

"Umm no... u dont have to be in it, umm.. u can get ur sleep" she said

the pause extended from Vasant Kunj to Gurgaon

"Umm.. hu hello" she muttered

He didnt say anything

"I can ask her to move it, but I dont know if she will get my email in time... I dont have her cell phone" II said softly

"II" he ordered stopping her

Pause

"Have u been very busy this week?" she asked caring

"the usual" he said gruffly

"Umm did u have to work longer becoz u are heading out?" she asked

"I wouldnt go if u were here with me" he said bitingly, frustrated she was so jealous about it

"Thanks" she said.. without gratitude

"Get on a f**king plane" he ordered

"Umm... no" she said

Pause

"Did u have a good week, u blew our Tuesday and Wed Skype meeting so I am guessing the week was great" he took a pot shot

"I had lots of chocolate" she mumbled

"From where?" he was curious

"Mrs Sagar saved some from Dad's meeting and gave it all to me" she said smugly

The driver approached the bank underground parking

"Aap mujhe yahi chhod deejiye agar aapko jaana hai to aap chale jao, I can walk to work, mera office 3 blocks hai" she explained

"Main rukta hoon madam sir ne jaane se mana kiya hai"

"I will see u in ten?" R&B asked

"Umm.. woh.."

"10" he said firmly and hung up

"U care abt her finances u woke early to be with us?" the Mgr spoke cheesily
"I dont sleep much" he said looking at his edgy wife
they surreptiously checked each other out, the first time in 5 days..
he sat in his office couch feet up? his longish curls tousled, a 5 AM shadow thick and green,
her insides sloshed like a glass of soda with ice that was accidentally tilted as it was being carried up the stairs with a laptop in hand

He checked her out slowly... leaving a trail of heat.

"I emailed u whatever I am sharing right now" Mgr said

"I just got it, I sent it to the printer" he said his voice deeper on skype

"she seems to be doing great... not one activity on red zone" the manager gushed

Red zone was anything over Rs.5000 II charged her debit card for, on the fly

"thats great" R&B said

Ii was scanning the papers...

"Did u give the whole consolidation of debt a thought?" the mgr asked

"I am sorry the only time I look at it is when I am with u" II said shame faced

"Thats quite alright, weve begun to look at it, so we can catch things, its a great start" she encouraged

"Her retirement stuff is in a bunch of low interest securities I am wondering if we can go more aggressive on it" R&B said

"Unfortunately Mr Bhalla I am only a relationship Mgr I cannot offer wealth advice, legally,
so we can do one of two things I can pull in a wealth mgr into our next meeting, or u can have her meet up with ur Bank of Paris expert" she said

"Umm.. we can do the bank" II interrupted

"But Ishita we will have to charge u, their consults dont come for free, its a % of your portfolio" she said

RIGHT, IF THE BANK EMPLOYEE WANTS TO PEE
THE CUSTOMER HAS TO PAY
IF THE BANK EMPLOYEE FLUSHES THE CUSTOMER PAYS TWICE THE RATE
IF U HAVE KIDS WE PAY A HIGHER RATE ON LOANS
HOW THE HELL DO U LIVE WITH URSELF?
CROOKS!!!

She felt a lil better after the mental tirade😆

"Umm.. I can think abt it" she said to her husband

"I will set something up with BNP and send u an invite" 😡he said firmly

"I probably wont retire... work until my 90s" II said passionately

"U love ur job so much? or hate ur husband?" the mgr joked walking over to her desk to grab her coffee mug

"a bit of both" ☺️😳II whispered, he got what she said, and half smiled

nammu i have already been to Dubai, Abu Dahbhi before this i love to travel tell me if u plan to come here will definitely take u around
