The bad boy and his nerd
CONCEPT: CUPCAKE.
It was 8 AM in the morning and a girl of her 12th standard was running here and there in her small 2 bedroom flat which was owned by her parents, who are no more; they passed away 6 years back leaving her alone to lead her life.
She finally succeeded in making a toast for herself and packs her lunch box of 2 rotis and a pickle which was purchased from the shop. She was a beautiful girl but due to the nerd look and her baggy clothes, her beauty was always hidden.
She honestly hated to go to school as it is no happy place for her, the owner of the school and the bad boy Reyaansh Singhania leaves no excuse to pick up on her and bully her every day. She was a nerd and she was a very shy and was very scared to complain anyone regarding the torture she is facing daily. To be honest, if she does also there won't be any action against the bad boy as he is the only son of the owner of the school.
She reached the main gate of the school and wiped her eyes as they moistened thinking about her dreadful fate. She is just living as she doesn't want to shatter the hopes of her parents on her. She entered the main gate and took baby steps to her class room.
As expected the bad boy was in the corridor waiting for her to bully her; there is no choice for her than to face it.
R: hey chashmish! How are you ugly? And why is your hair so neat today? (Clutching her hair tightly)
She bit back her tears and one of his friends held her long skirt and tried to pull it which she pleaded not to do. Rey held her face in his hand tightly pressing her cheeks inside; taani was trying to pull her skirt to herself and she accidentally shoved her elbow into his stomach and he sat wincing in pain.
Rey blazed in and slapped her hard
R: how dare you hit me? Do you know how low class and ugly bitch you are?
She went and hit a wall with force which resulted in a bleeding cut on her forehead. He dint notice and left the place as the bell rang.
She stabilized herself and adjusted her specs; she made her way to her class when her lecturer was startled to find her in a bleeding state. He immediately sent her to the medical room to get aided. Rey saw her and his eyes widened, he dint think he hurt her that she bled.
Later, she went to her home as she was feeling her head spinning; rey's eyes searched her everywhere in the school but he couldn't find her. He was maintaining his cool but he was desperate to know how she was.
Next day
As usual taani entered the school and when she was beside the staircase, rey wanted to take revenge from her. He would not trouble her much but atleast he would trip her. He put his leg so that taani tripped and rolled along all the stairs and landed on the floor. A crowd surrounded her and taani was unconscious bleeding on the floor, her books were away from her, her glasses broke and one of the glass piece cut her cheek also and she was lying as a lifeless body on the floor. Rey ran down the stairs and dismissed the crowd
He was cursing himself that why everything he is doing is getting extreme? He carried her to the medical room and his heart clenched at the sight of her. How could he hurt her so much that she is bleeding and she has no complaints against him?
He called the nurse and
N: we can't treat her here; the wounds are very severe and moreover she is burning with fever. She needs some intra venous cannulas to induce glucose as she is very dehydrated.
Rey swallowed a lump in his throat, he requested her to come along and he admitted her in the hospital.
In hospital
The doctor examined her, he put her on glucose by intravenous cannulas and one of the nurse was bandaging her right ankle as it is sprained due to the fall. The head was dressed again as the previous day wound aggravated and the cut on her cheek was aided by a small band aid.
She fell asleep while all this was happening. Meanwhile rey thought of contacting her parents regarding the incident. He asked the nurse of his college.
N: no rey, i know her. Her parents died in an accident 6 years ago when she was in 6th standard. Her classmate told me about it, she lives alone in her own house and she cooks for herself. Situations taught her how to live alone.
He silently sat on the chair outside the ward. He dismissed the nurse telling her to go to school and he would stay there. He recollected all the incidents when he and his friends bullied her so much and how she cried, her cries were now stinging his heart. He atleast shouldnt have been so heartless to torture her when she was at no fault. He rested his head on the wall behind and closed his eyes searching for the solution. But his heart was so heavy that tears squeezed out of the outer corners of his eyes. He opened his eyes when the doctor came to the ward. He followed him inside and the doctor checked her condition.
D: Mr. Reyaansh, she is very under nourished and dehydrated; she needs to be in the hospital for today and tomorrow. We can discharge her the day after. Till then she needs to be under observation.
R: yes doctor.
The doctor left and his eyes fell on her sleeping form. She was in hospital uniform and her hair was open, her eyes were closed and a soft feeling wrapped his heart. He sat beside her, took her tiny hand in his and interlaced with his fingers and smiled looking at their hands.
Rey leant on her bed sitting on a chair and taani woke up after an hour; she first squinted her eyes and saw her surroundings, her hand was piped to a bottle and her ankle was bandaged. She saw him by her side and gasped in shock pulling back her hand waking him up. She clutched her temple out of pain in the cut on her forehead.
He looked at her, those hazels... they were just beautiful. Her face held the most innocent expression and he was shamelessly staring at her.
"Ummm..." She cleared her throat breaking his trance. He could see the confusion in her face.
"Wo... you fell down from the staircase so..." he stopped the sentence in mid way hoping she would understand.
She let out a breath and was lost in her thoughts when her lunch arrived. She ate her lunch in silence, and rey was by her side looking at her pretending to read a magazine. He saw that a funk was disturbing her so he grabbed her hair band and went behind her binding the hair in the band. She was amazed at him.
After she was done, she finally spoke; "ummm... you wont eat?"
"Yeah, i will... first you sleep; then i will go and eat something." He replied softly.
She was surprised at his behaviour towards her.
"Its okay... I am fine... " she stuttured.
"Taani, i agree that i am an a**hole to torture you so much; so it is my responsibility that i should take care of you because, i am the reason for this situation." His eyes flashed pain.
Taani felt good that he was guilty, atleast he realized that he was wrong.
"So, i am going to be with you till you get well..." he continued but taani interrupted.
"Thanks a lot that you are feeling i am your responsibility. But i will be fine. I will rest for a couple of days and i will be fine. You dont take the pain to look after me.." but rey dint let her finish.
" i know how well you take care of yourself and no more arguements. I am going to stay with you in your home." He said.
"Ummm... okay..." she agreed hesitantly.
He took utmost care of her as if he is her close friend and it dint seem like he ever hated her. He was getting pulled towards her, and that strange feeling made him crazy. She also got comfortable with him and obeyed him like a small kid.
She was discharged and they entered her simple and cozy flat.
Rey was adoring her apartment and soon messaged his cook and servants to come to this address. She went to change into her jumpsuit and when she came back, rey was ogling at her perfect hourglass figure. She was never so beautiful before; he only saw her in those baggy tops and long skirts and patialas. He went close to her and put her earrings into her ear making her smile.
She went to her bed and sat there taking out her medicines. Rey was looking at her and felt really guilty; he never saw her smiling in his life, he made her life a living hell which she dint deserve. He sat on the couch and was in deep thought when the door bell rang. He opened the door and found his cook and servant there, he called them in and introduced them to taani that they will cook for her and for other chores also. She initially denied but later rey convinced her.
He was staying with her for a couple of days cracking jokes, and looking after her needs like her mom. He was sleeping in her parents room and was checking on her time to time.
But taani was thinking that Rey was doing all this for sympathy as she dont have parents. Her heart clenched at her thoughts and she also got a glimpse that may be he will be the same bully after she goes to school?
Taani woke up the next morning and started to have her break fast silently when rey entered her room. She thought for a while whether she should ask him or not. But then confronted him.
T: rey, if you are doing all this based on pity, then you dont need to. Please, it will be better if i lead my life alone. I dont want anyone to bother me.
R: kya?
T: haa rey; i mean after i am fine i will be back in the school in the same old way and you will be the same old rey. Instead of feeling bad then, it is better to be the same so that; i cant break then.
Rey's eyes shimmered and he fell to his knees covering his face in his hands. Taani got tensed and sat down holding him.
T: rey? What happened?
R: i am sorry!! I am sorry for everything!! I dont know what else to say but i seriously dont know how to make it up to my mistakes.
I have realised that i was a very bad boy taani. I cant forgive myself for what i did to you. But please dont mis understand me like this. I started to feel free and happy with you, i dont want to lose you in my life. Please taani...
T: rey... rey i am sorry i misunderstood you. Please dont cry. I cant see you crying.
Rey got up and forwarded his hand. R: friends?
T: friends...
It has been 2 days since they started to go to school and rey's behaviour shocked everyone. Their friendship was beyond anything and everything. Rey managed everyone not to bully taani or accuse her and everyone got used to their friendship.
After their 12th exams, rey proposed her to be his girlfriend and taani agreed to it with tears in his eyes. He has done everything to make her forget what she suffered for years together. And they started their life with a new beginning.
