I looked down towards my watch and saw the time that showed 4:00 pm and I thoughtit is time to go home. I started putting my books inside my bag and stood up to go , just then I realized I forgot to take my maths book back which I gave to him. I turned my head to ask my book back from him but he isn't there that's when I realized he should have gone to his sports classes.
Kush..kush...my friends called me breaking me from my thoughts. I quickly gave a small smile and said them to wait there at the school campus .again picking up my bag I went downstairs there I saw my friends are chatting like there is no tomorrow .wondering what they were talking I went towards them to ask the same.
On my way I saw niki , my friend who pulled me towards the main gate and whispered some things to the other girls who were presently gossiping. i asked what they were gossiping and they remained silent for sometime.i noticed niki blinked her eyes showing others that they can say what they were talking about.
Curiousity was building on my nerves, before I lost my coolness and I directly asked for the uncountableth time what they were talking about.thats when one of the girl responded me something which shook me to the core. They said my class mate..correction..my crush has a crush.i am totally drained and upset over this matter and I quickly masked my I-don't-care attitude and asked who is his crush in a not so casual tone.
I noticed some some twitching eyebrows and some confused glares making me confused over the question I asked. Then niki told me they themselves don't know.i asked them then why are you bothering' when I clearly know the answer for that..care to know the answer,it is because my whole freaking class has a crush on him...err...some boys too...
Have you found out whom I am referring to...yes you are correct its none other than arnav singh raizada.now we have found out that he has his own crush and it is going to envy the whole girls population of this class including me..anyways its already late and my mom will be waiting for me.
Arnav' pov
When I reached home I was greeted by my crazy family. I kept my shoes in the shoe rag and went inside my bedroom .it was a tiring day because of the basketball and football classes I attended .
I kept my bag in the shelves and went to take take a cool shower as it is really humid today .after getting fresh I placed myself in the the couch and took out my bag to study as tomorrow is maths exam and I haven't touched a single chapter at all.
When I took my box I realized I took her maths book instead of mine and she took my maths book instead of hers.i would have returned the book to her now but I dint have her phone number or anything plus i don't know her number so without any way I opened her book to read her book which was at presently with me.
The contents which I saw made me to widen my eyes. there was several hearts with arrows pointing some name which was scratched very hardly with the pen so no one could see it.i wondered who it may be and thought of the boys who she will talk ,completely ignoring from the list.may be samrat...or...shekhar...or...some celebrity crush or something.
Whoever it may be but i dont like it.and i suddenly thought of my own self and shook my head in deniel.no arnav she sees you as her friend moreover you already have tooo much female followers so don't desire for her,I said to myself.my thoughts were broken by a call.
Which is from my friend,aadhav. without answering the call I thought if the heart arrow mark person may be aadhav as he talks to kushi more than I talk and he is way more friendly than me kushi and they are neighbours too.i was once again brought back to earth by the same ringing sound of my mobile.this time out of frustration I attended the call.
aadhav why are irritating me with your constant ringing man.i am not in the mood to speak with you so if there is anything,for gods sake please say what it is and cut the phone'
He don't know why lashed him with his words in the call.he don't know what came over him that he spoke like this to his close buddy.he just hopes that he didn't take this seriously.he calmed down his uneven heartbeats.

What kushi is with him..he was little more raged.not that he has some crush on her but some protective feeling towards her.yes he is just protective towards her as at this time no girl will be going to some random boys house even if the boy is friend too.

Shit..he swore and thought about the conversation he had with kushi.when he finished saying things he heared a beep sound indicating that kushi has cut the call.
most probably she would have felt humiliated that he read her secret things...so what her friends would have also read it ...why is he not her friend or doesn't have the rights to have knowledge about her secrets.
Realizing that tomorrow is maths exam and he haven't touched a single chapter he rushed to his study desk and started learning but uff...he is not in the mood to concentrate on any thing so he shut closed his(kushis) maths book and went downstairs for dinner.
All have noticed that arnav wasn't talking during the whole dinner session and was in his own dream land thinking of something.he jerks suddenly realizing that his di has poured water all over him and he raised his head saw anjali laughing.
he got up without eating dinner and went inside the room..what say he dint even fought with anjali and now this is a news.
His family glared at eachother and finally glared at his bedroom and suddenly laughed as they know that arnav will not take this seriously...did I mention that his family is crazy.

She didn't even looked at me today.how dare she ignore me when she knows he don't like ignorance, he thought angrily.he tried talking to her but he didn't get any response for that so decided to talk to at evening.he went and sat on the the chair beside the canteen table.he waiting foe aadhav to accompany him and within few minutes he came and accompanied him.
They were talking about sports and gradually the topic shifted to girls and crushes and it went...it went and suddenly.
dude are you seeing someone?' arnav gulped his drink quickly and saw quizzically at aadhav.'what makes you think like that?'a shocking arnav asked.
oh so it was rumors'he muttered to himself and arnav heard it.'what rumor?'
Oh nothing...that was the answer given by him and all arnav gave was a serious gaze.and aadhv knows now he nee to answer him.
its nothing serious dude, u know there was a rumor among girls that you were having a secret crush'
what dude me seeing someone'arnav laughed out loud and suddenly turned serious and asked who said this and aadhav replied him that kushi asked him about it and he said that he will ask arnav and say whether he is seeing someone or not and that's when he realized that why kushi was not talking to him..maybe she was insecure or jealous.
he know that she likes him well if you asked how he knows that's because...
Flashback starts
he was suspicious about the way kushi talked about the reader thing so he again took out the reader and tried hard to find the name and suddenly he got remembered of some CBI based movie and just took his pencil and paper and turned the readers page where she has written and kept the rough paper above it and started shading and was shocked to see his name written on it.and he smiled and kept it aside and went for sleep
flashback ends
after school all were on the way to their home and kushi saw arnav from the corner of her eye and quickly turned her head as she noticed that he was seeing her.when they were on the gate she bidded all her friends bye and waited for her father to come and pick her.she saw that arnav didn't go home.
She saw that he was approaching her ,she kept chanting kushi don't talk to him...dont talk to him but cant help but smile at him and it was unexpected.her mother have always said her to keep smiling and she has practiced liked that so without her knowledge she grinned.
arnav came infront of her and looked surprised by the smile she gave him and thought that she may not took the the matter seriously.he also returned the smile and'come,we can sit in the bench till your father comes'
you are not going home'
no I will accompany you till your father comes'
no thanks arnav I will manage'
no you cannot and I will be there till your father comes,understand'
Kushi just nodded her head and both made their way to the bench.arnav bought a icecream for two and kushi was visibly seen happy.
I am sorry kushi I didn't mean to hurt you'
At first kushi was little awkward and then slightly nodded her head and looked at his eyes and asked its ok arnav...but..did you...uh..i mean did you read anything which I have written.damn this eyes,he cant even speak a single lie by seeing her so he turned his face and said
'no ...I didn't
In return kushi just gave a big smile and then suddenly the smile vanished arnav'

Though arnav was aware of what she was asking he was acting to look like a puzzled boy. on seeing arnav puzzled kushi said

oh thank god she finally asked.from yesterday she was thinking of a way to ask him and finding no way she went to aadhav's home in the name of the book exchange incident.but aadhav too was astounded and instead asked her the matter so she decided to ask arnav from the phone itself and she gave her mother a silly reason of book exchange . but when she was lashed out by him she was deeply moved.
She was angry on arnav for not saying a proper hello and to add fuel to it he said that he read her book so she cut the call and decided to avoid him as much as possible but alas!!!...nothing happened.
