"Hey Krips."
I sighed dreamily and wrapped myself closer into a ball.
"Hey."
"How was it?" Angad asked.
"Good. Bad. Weird." I replied.
"What happened?"
And I told him everything, starting from when I arrived, what I said, what happened at the dinner, after the dinner, and how I felt.
And you know what? He really listened to me. I talked and he replied, asked questioned, and comforted me.
"I love you, and I can't wait to see you babe'" he said, when I was about to hang up.
"Me too."
I smiled. Just talking to him made me feel like I was right there with him. Still smiling broadly, I snuggled closer to my teddy bear and went to sleep, thinking and dreaming about Angad, my Angad.
000
The wedding went well. Tell you the truth, I didn't really notice anything. I did as I was told; I walked down the isle, took Mishti's bouquet, and then made a small toast at the reception. And although I was physically there, mentally and emotionally I was with Angad. Nothing bothered me more than the fact that he wasn't with me. Even the fact that Prithvi came to the reception with his parents, and of course Tess, didn't seem to hassle me.
Now, as I was sitting on the plane, less than an hour away from Angad, a troublesome thought crossed my mind. If being away from Angad for two measly days was so difficult, what would happen when the summer ended and I had to go back to Texas, and he had to go back to college?
000
The thought troubled me still, even after the plane landed. I was walking to the baggage claim area, dreading the ordeal of trying to have to locate my bags and then loading them on the cart.
Suddenly a pair of strong hands wrapped themselves along my waist.
Within a second I knew it was him- his smell, his touch. Everything was so familiar, yet so exotic. I freakin' loved it.
"Hey" he whispered quietly, his hot breath tickling my ear. I grinned- all my worries gone to a far, far place and turned around to see his handsome face.
"Hey" I whispered back. He smiled a smile that I could die for and kissed me hard. After the welcoming kiss, I snickered at him.
"I see that you missed me a lot" I teased
"Yea, I did. Too much." He replied, solemn.
"Me too baby, me too" We smiled at each other and kissed one more time. When we were done, I looked at him quizzically. "How did you get in here? Aren't the people supposed to wait outside?"
He smiled cockily. "I know a few people." I shook my head.
"Of course you do."
He laughed his carefree laugh and I felt my heart do a flip.
"So I was thinking we should get a bite to eat?" he said.
"Definitely. Im starving!" I replied; apparently Angad's absence also affected my appetite- I hadn't eaten much in the past two days.
He smirked, seeming to read my mind. "Let's go get your stuff then."
000
"That was really good." I said my stomach full and happy after two days. Angad and I had gone to eat at the diner, and I ate so much, I thought I would never eat ever again. We were sitting in the car at the moment, and Angad was being uncharacteristically silent.
"What's wrong Angad?" I asked, worried. He looked at me, and smiled tightly.
"Nothing babe."
"You sure?" I asked, uncertain.
"Yea. Don't worry about it."
I decided to stop prying, and change the subject.
"So where are we going now?" I asked, cheerily.
"Um, it's already 11. I was gonna drop you off at your dorm." He said.
"Oh."
We were both quiet for a second, and I saw that he was driving really slowly, almost as if he was stalling getting to the dorms.
"Why?" I asked, impatiently.
He looked at me, surprised. "Aren't you tired?"
Was I? Yea.
"But I want to spend time with you!" I pleaded, knowing how desperate I sounded.
He smiled at me. "Well, I don't have a problem with that"
"So why did you want to drop me off at my dorm room?" I pouted.
"'Cuz I thought you wanted that." He replied, taking my hand.
I looked at him. "I would never, never want to be away from you. Don't you know that?"
"Well I'm glad. And now that that's cleared- where do you want to go?"
I thought about it. Almost everything was closed. Well, the nightclubs ect were open but I wanted someplace private and quiet; someplace I could talk to Angad.
"Erm, how about your house?"
"Sweet" he replied, kissing my hand. I smiled in response and intertwined my fingers with his.
000
"Come in darling, come on in" Angad teased as he opened the front door for me. Cole's car wasn't in the driveway so I guessed we were alone at the house.
"Thank you sweetheart" I teased back, pinching his cheeks as I strode past him.
"Ow! That hurt Krips!" he called after me, rubbing his cheeks. I laughed and walked into the kitchen to make some coffee. After sometime, I heard him saunter in.
"Well, well, well, aren't we making ourselves right at home." He smirked, his eyebrow raising in a teasing manner.
Ignoring his teasing, I turned around and handed him his coffee mug. "What do we do now?" I asked.
"Hmmā¦." He pretended to think really hard, and his face twisted into a naughty smile. "How about a nice make-out session?" he looked at my stricken face and smirked. Setting his coffee cup down, he walked towards me with deliberate steps. I backed away from him, smiling slightly.
"Uh how about not?" I said.
"Uh how about yes?" He retorted, still walking towards me. I shook my head and gave him my best glare. Ignoring it, he kept walking towards me. Soon he had me trapped inside the cage of his hands, with his face just inches away from mine.
"What if" he said, while gently kissing my lower lip, "we watch a movie?"
"Erm, what?" I asked, breathing heavily, as he still continued to shower my lower lip with soft and gentle kisses.
"A movie smart one." He smiled against my lip. "You know, a sequence of photographs projected onto a screen with sufficient rapidity to create the illusion of motion and continuity. "
I backed my head out of the reach of his lips. "How the hell do you know that?!"
He let go of me, and smiled cheekily "Im smart!"
"Angad Khanna, you're such a loser."
He laughed. "Sure I'm a loser; but Ms. Kripa Sharma, I'm your loser."
I smiled, "That you are baby. Now stop acting romantic, pick up your coffee cup and put a movie on!"
"Yes ma'am!"
We went in the living room, and he took out a few DVD's.
"What do you wanna see babe?"
"CHICK FLICK!" I shrieked. I hadn't seen one in such a long time- every movie I saw was with either Prithvi or my family, and neither of them liked chick-flicks.
Angad groaned. "I don't have any chick flicks. Sorry" then he muttered under his breath "Thank god."
But I wasn't gonna back down anytime soon. "Let's order it on PPV!"
"But babeā¦."
"Pweaseee Angad? Pretty please, with a red cherry on top?"
He smiled. "Fine."
He came and sat next to me on the couch. We scrolled through the available movies, finally landing on John Tucker Must Die.
He hit play and the movie stated. I found myself a crook in his chest and rested my head there, while he held me close with his hand.
Every few minutes I would look up to see him staring at me. Finally, he said something.
"You know, it's a scientific fact that movies are more enjoyable when viewed horizontally."
He was so making a move on me.
"And why should I believe you?" I asked.
"Because, like you said a few minutes earlier, Im smart"
"Why don't you just accept the fact that you're trying to make a move on me?"
His face turned serious. "So what if I am Kripa? Do you have a problem with it? With us?"
"Of course not" I replied, serious as well.
"Good" his normal personality was back again. He grinned at me. Taking his arm off me, he laid down on the sofa, and I did the same, with my back to him.
We watched the movie like this for a while longer, but I found it hard to get the movie. Finally I just turned around and kissed him, long and hard. He reciprocated with the same passion, and before we knew it, we were heading up to his room.
He laid me down on his bed and looked intently in my eyes.
"Are you ok with this Kripa?"
I looked back into his eyes. Was I?
"Yes. Butā¦."I trailed off.
"But what?" he asked, politely.
"Itsā¦it's my first time." I blushed.
He laughed. "I guessed."
I couldn't take it anymore- his laugh had just done it. I kissed him hard and he grinned against my lips.
000
"Wake up sleepy head!" he cooed in my ear. I snuggled closer to him and shook my head.
"No. I wanna sleep" I felt his chest vibrate under my head as he laughed.
"C'mon babe, get up. I gotta get to the park, and I want you to come with me."
I glanced up at him and glared. "I am not riding it!"
"It?" he asked, feigning innocence.
"The roller coaster. It'"
"I never said you had to" he said.
"I know you mean it." I muttered accusingly.
"Babe, go take a shower," I knew he was changing the subject, but before I could stop him, he continued, "and I'll make breakfast."
'You, making breakfast? This I gotta see!" I jumped off of the bed and went in the shower, forgetting all about the roller coaster.
000
"Im hungry! Whatever you made should be good" I warned him good naturedly as I walked out of the bathroom and into the kitchen. He was standing by the counter shirtless, his hair still wet from his shower. It took me a minute to notice anything else but him.
He smiled sheepishly at me. I looked at the table and shook my head. His idea of breakfast was cereal and milk.
I kissed his lightly and whispered in his ear "yum." I sat down and dug in.
000
We were at the park now, and were walking to the coaster, holding hands.
"Angad, something's been bothering me for a while now."
"What babe?" he asked.
"When the summer's over, we're gonna have to head back homeā¦.ill go back and finish high school, and you'll have to go back to college. What's gonna happen then?"
He thought about it for a minute. "Well, id be lying if I said that I never thought about this before. And, truthfully babe, I think we'll be able to make it."
"But Angad, im really bad at long distance relationshipsā¦..I mean, look at what happened with Prithvi-" he cute me off.
"Never, ever compare us with Prithvi" he said angrily, "Our relationship is real, something true. What you had with Prithviā¦.it doesn't even come in the same region as what we have. We will make it. I wont let this go." He said with conviction.
I smiled at him. At that moment I knew that we would definitely last for a long, long time.
We reached the coaster and Angad waved to John, the guy who ran the controls. He got in the car to do the routine test every morning.
"Come with me." He called.
I shook my head.
"Do you trust me?"
Did I?
Yes.
I nodded my head.
"Will I let anything hurt you?"
No.
I shook my head.
He held out his hand and stared at me, his eyes telling me to trust him, to show him that I trusted him.
Slowly, I took his hand. He smiled and helped me sit down and put the safety straps on. He gave John a thumbs up, and the coaster came to life. It started creaking down the rail, and just as we were about to go over the edge, Angad leaned over and kissed me earnestly.
And just like that, I forgot about the fact that I was on one of the highest coaster, about to plummet down hundreds of feet. I forgot about home, about Prithvi, about school, and about everything but this- Him. Me. Us. Together, forever- we'd make it last. I knew we would.
And just like that, the coaster stopped. I looked around, dazed from the wind whipping at our faces, dazed from the breathtaking kiss, and dazed from feeling so god darn awesome.
"You did it babe, you rode the coaster" he whispered sweetly in my ear.
I smiled and wound my arms around his neck "Yes, yes I did." Taking his face in my small hands, I looked him in the eye.
"I love you Angad Khanna, I love you more than anything."
He smiled at and looked into my eyes with so much love, it overwhelmed me. "I love you too Kripa Sharma, I loved you from the first moment I heard your voice, and I will love you until I die. I love you." And once again our lips met.
That's the fan fic! I can't tell you all how freaking happy I am to finish it! I personally didn't think it was a good ff. I actually hate the ending part. Ugh. I can't thank all my loyal readers enough for putting up with me, my lame parts, and the erratic schedule. Now I was going to post this before, but I couldn't- not because I didn't get enough comments, but because my computer got really f'ed up, and wouldn't let me view anything- my documents, pictures ect. Thankfully it's all sorted out! I would really appreciate comments, (the longer the better!), but for those who wouldn't like to waste their time on me, a simple click of the thank you button on the first page is enough. Both would be awesome too. šš just playing. Twilight, my new ff, will start sometime in the weekend, as I plan on spending a lot of time and effort into the first part. Do check that out if you haven't already. As for my other ffs, they will be updated once school ends. Also, on June 11 thru June 14, I won't continue as I have finals. Erm, I think that's all? Thank you everyone alot for reading this ff!
