Episode 3
After the nomination ceremony the five boys were hanging out in the HOH room, eating Rey's snacks.
"I can't believe Sia reacted like that," Ayaan spoke up breaking the silence, as everyone was slightly tensed about what happened after the nomination ceremony.
"It was so unnecessary...if you ask me...you did the right thing and your reasons were good...I mean it's not like we have a problem with anyone in the house, it was not personal..." Jey continued.
Downstairs in Room 1
Sia was upset about what happened and Sanaya, Kruttika and Rashi was with her trying to make her calm.
"I can't believe he picked me...he doesn't even know me!" Sia sobbed.
"That was really stupid of him picking two girls..." Kruttika stated.
"I'll just have to win the Veto so he knows I'm not weak..." Sia sniffed.
In the chill room
Maya was hanging out with Tej and Asad, they were also discussing the current matter.
"Ooh looks like the game has just begun..." Maya commented.
"It was all fun...but now it's war...you won't know who to trust..." Tej responded deep in thought.
"Honestly I don't think Sia will go out without a fight..." Asad said.
"Tell me about...Rey must have though he will get away with putting up the two weakest contestants...but that was just one game and Sia looks like she has lots of fire in her..." stated Maya.
Just then Rashi came in and slumped down on the sofa with a loud sigh.
"Oh that girl is such a drama queen...I mean come on...she' making it sound like Rey stabbed her in the back..." Rashi claimed.
Maya raised her eyes at Tej who also looked up from his deep concentration.
"Some friendly advice Rashi...you do not want to go around saying things like that...it could put a target on your back..." Maya said to Rashi.
The atmosphere in the room suddenly went cold as they all went silent.
"I didn't mean it like that..." Rashi muttered, she stood up and walked away.
"I think I'm staying far away from that girl..." Tej said.
"It's going to be her own fault she goes out, if she carries on like that..." Asad ended.
Outside in the garden Sami was hanging out with Zain playing pool.
"Rey wasn't right picking on girls like that..." Zain informed Sami.
"Maybe but he had a valid point," Sami replied.
"True but I thought he was more a man..." Zain tested.
Sami did not reply but wondered if Zain may be a threat to his alliance later on in the game. Sami spotted Sanaya across the garden, he fancied her and left the game to go over and talk to her.
"Hey..." Sami called over to Sanaya.
"Oh you..." Sanaya rolled her eyes, Sami had tried catching her attention from the moment he saw her, but she wanted to concentrate on the game.
Later on
Rey came out of the diary room calling all of the houseguests to gather up.
"Hey everyone, it's time to pick players for the veto competition...let's gather in the living room" Rey called.
Everyone came in to living room and waited for Rey to read the letter...
"The winner of the veto will be able to keep the nominations, or upset the balance of the nomination by saving themselves or their chosen contestants, forcing the head of household to choose a replacement nominee..." Rey informed them and then continued; "Can the nominees please join me...?"
Sia and Tara stood up and joined Rey at the front.
"As head of household I also have to take part in this competition and I will pick two houseguests who join me and the two nominees..." Rey stated, he placed his hand in a bag to pull out the names.
"Akshat...and...Zain..." Rey said reading from the cards he pulled out of the bag.
"Big Brother will inform us when it is time for the veto..." Rey said allowing them all to disperse.
The boys met up for a quick chat in the HOH room, before the competition.
"This is good there are two of you Akshat and Rey, we have a high hand of keeping the nominations the same" Ayaan said.
"Yeah they won't have a chance to win...you guys better win this, " Sami warns.
Downstairs
"I have to win this, but there are three strong contestants up, Rey, Akshat and Zain." Sia said pacing the room Sia and Kruttika with her.
"Don't worry, just concentrate on winning forget about the boys," Sanaya said.
Bathroom
Rashi was helping Tara get ready for the competition.
"Don't worry if you don't win...seeing how Sia is playing she is putting a target on her back..." Rashi informed Tara.
"True but I'm still going to try to win..." Tara replied.
"Sure..." Rashi said quietly.
Veto Competition!
The entire garden looked like a giant baking factory; in the middle of the area was a rolling pin, under the rolling pin was a caramel substance and a little further on was a pool of batter with large blueberries in them.
The five contestants lined up by their boards.
"Houseguests...welcome to Big Brother Baking competition, each houseguests will have to make their way through the caramel under the rolling pin...out to the other side...dive into the cake batter and pop the blueberries...inside each blueberry is a letter...you can take back one letter at a time to your board...after each contestant had locked in their word...the contestant with the longest and the correctly spelt word will be the winner of the Power Of Veto..." boomed Big Brother's voice.
The houseguests were excited apart from the five participants for the competition, who were a little nervous.
The siren blared and all five houseguests dived into the sticky caramel and tried to crawl though, this proved hard as the caramel was thick.
First out of the caramel was Akshat who dived into the batter and grabbed the nearest blueberry and popped it. The other houseguests had also dived into the pool by this time and were popping the blueberries; Sia was the last to get out.
The game continued as each contestant made their way up and down the track trying to get as many letters as they could.
First to finish was Rey, who locked in his word, followed by Tara then Sia and finally Akshat.
"Okay...houseguests time to reveal your words starting with Tara..." Big Brother's voice called out.
Tara shouted; "Berry"
Zain called out; "Education"
Rey shouted, "Pillow"
Sia quietly said; "Ball"
Akshat spluttered; "Confused" as he had tasted some batter from his face while everyone laughed as he spelt the word confused.
"The winner of the Veto is Zain..." boomed the voice once more.
Zain put the Veto medallion around his neck and everyone congratulated Zain on winning.
Bedroom
Sia was pacing again, with Kruttika and Sanaya watching her as they would have watched a tennis match.
"I have to do something...I cannot go home in the first week..." Sia mumbled.
"Maybe you should get Zain to use the Veto on you..." Sanaya suggested.
"Why would he...I haven't even spoken to him...I mean if it was Akshat then maybe I would be able to make him but Zain..." Sia creased her forehead in worry.
"You have to try...if not you have a high chance of going..." Kruttika explained.
HOH room
"I can't believe we didn't win" Akshat shrieked.
"Yeah I can't believe the only word you thought of was confused..." Sami teased.
"Shut up..." Akshat warned "...it's the only word I could think of...and I was totally confused."
The others sniggered.
"Let's call Zain up and see where his head is at..." Rey said.
"Yeah but some of us should leave so he does not become suspicious," Ayaan interrupted.
Sami, Jey and Akshat got up and walked out of the room leaving Ayaan and Rey to talk.
Zain was in the garden chilling on the couch, he noticed Sia making her way toward him, and he knew why.
"Hey...can I sit..." Sia asked.
"Sure..." Zain replied
"So I was just wondering umm...what are you going to do with the Veto?" Sia questioned.
"Straight to the point..." Zain smirked "what exactly do you want?"
"Ok...I want you to use it on me...please" Sia pleaded.
Zain glanced at her and then looked away, he got up and started to walk away, leaving Sia confused...
"I'll think about it" he called back.
Zain entered the HOH room after he was told by Akshat that Rey wanted to see him.
"Hey man..." Rey greeted him, Rey wanted to get on the good side of him as, Zain was not part of their group so he did not know where Zain stood in the game.
Zain replied and Rey asked him where his mind was at with using the Veto.
"I'm not sure...I haven't really thought about it," Zain replied.
"Okay dude, it's totally up to you..." Rey had an off feeling about Zain like he was hiding something from him, but did not push it; he did not want t to say the wrong thing.
Time for the Veto ceremony...
Zain told everyone it's time for the veto meeting and expected them all to gather in the living room, with Sia and Tara sitting on the two chairs between the couches.
"This is the Veto meeting...Sia and Tara has been nominated, but I have the power to Veto one of the nominations...I have decided to use my Veto to save...to save Sia" Zain placed the Veto medallion on Sia who gave him a hug and thanked him.
The guys gave each other a look and Rey covered his face...
"As I have used the Veto on one of your nominees, you have to name a replacement nominee..." Zain informed Rey.
Zain sat down and Rey stood up looking slightly defeated.
"I'm sorry Purvi, I nominate you as a replacement nominee..." Rey said quietly.
Purvi and Sia swapped places.
"This veto meeting is adjourned?" Rey said unsurely but they all stood up and met the two nominees...one of which would be going home really soon...
