Part 7:

Randhir felt relaxed after he saw his Sanyukta standing up for his challenge. I fell in love with this fighter Sanyukta, he smiled.

Sanyukta: kya hua ab Kyun Chup ho gaye? Bolo kaun si task Karna hai! Should I take shots and assemble the circuit? Ya fir chimney banana hai windmill wali! Batao.. I am up for it.

Randhir: Nah Miss Engineer! Yeh sab toh tum bahut ache se kar dogi I am sure.. But this task isn't that tough. Na hi tumhe shots leni hai na hi chimney banani hai!

Sanyukta: Acha, jo b ho jeetungi toh mein hi.. I am sure.. Jaldi Batao.

Randhir thanked himself for bringing up this topic. It's been more than 24 hours since they had a normal convo. He did not want it to end. But his Farzi wasn't going to leave him.

Randhir: Chalo batata Hun! Yeh bahut hi simple task hai.. Listen to it carefully.. I trust you is liye I think tum cheating nahi karogi..

Sanyukta: Cheating Aur mein? Never.. Bolo kya task hai!

Randhir: See, now the time is 5 PM.. Exactly 24 hours hai tumhare paas. In this 24 hours, you should neither think about me or nor talk to me. It's friday today so obviously Kal classes nahi honge which also implies you will not see me in the classes. Just remember one thing. Be true to your heart. I can bet you will think about me ten times atleast in this 24 hours. Just keep a count of it. If you think about me 9 times, then I lose .. If you cross 10, then you lose.. N your time starts now! Challenge

If I lose, I promise not to bother you anymore.. If you lose, then U ll have to accept my punishment..

Sanyukta was totally confused.. "Yeh pagal toh nahi ho gaya? Yeh kaise task hai! Obviously mein hi jeetungi! Why will I think about him woh b 10 times!!!" She was confident.

Sanyukta; Yes I am ready!

Randhir was worried for a second, Kahin yeh Mujhe sach me Yaad hi nahi ki toh ! Randhir's heart popped out once again!! It flew and sat on Sanyukta's shoulder!

"Mujhe bhul Gaye kya! Mein Hun na! I ll take care of everything!!" It winked at him!

He smiled and said, "Ok then! I ll meet you here exactly at 5 pm tomorrow!!"

Sanyukta nodded her head in agreement! She turned to leave.. His heart followed her!!

You ll be Mine soon Sanyukta! Love you my Farzi!! Randhir winked!

Randhir smilingly stared at his heart following his soul Sanyukta.. "Dil Aaj kal meri sunta nahi, Dil Aaj kal paas rehta nahi" his lips sang without his knowledge.. He himself was astonished by the transformation.. Sirf Dil hi nahi, mere shareer ke koi b parts Aaj kal meri control me nahi hai, he bit his lips..

All that his legs does these days is to follow her, all his hands wanna do is to caress her cute face, his mind always thinks about her 24/7, his eyes does not even blink if she is around, his ears wanna hear her voice all the time, his heart is definitely not in his control, BATAMEEZ DIL hai mera, he thought!

Randhir looked at his watch, it struck 5.30 PM, to remind him that already half an hour of his task is done and dusted. Sirf 23.30 hrs Baaki hai, I know she ll think of me for sure, there's absolutely nothing to worry, he consoled himself. Next moment, he was afraid, agar nahi hui toh!!! His smile faded!

Sanyukta went to her room and lied on her bed.. She had already made up her mind not to think about Randhir. She had to divert her attention, somehow. Only books can keep me busy, she thought. She immediately got up, washed her face and headed towards the library.. On the way, she kept saying to herself "Nahi sochungi Randhir ke baare me, nahi sochungi Randhir ke baare me"..

Sanyukta finally reached the library. The moment she saw the books, she was lost in it. She couldn't think of anything else. She always wanted to refer a book for her third year syllabus. Finally, she had lots of time today. I can read it all, she said.. She felt weird seeing the book racks!! She felt two eyes spying upon her, Randhir was staring at her, his eyes red "I am warning you for the last time! Don't mess with me Sanyukta! Don't hit me where it hurts the most!" She shivered hearing his angry voice, when she looked up he was gone. Was I imagining? I lost a turn, the count is 1 now, the countdown has started. I must concentrate on the books.

Mam, mechanical engineering fifth semester books, Kahan honge? She asked the librarian.

Librarian pointed out the book rack at the back. She thanked the librarian and rushed towards the book rack. She started searching the books one by one. Suddenly she felt as if someone was looking at her.

She turned immediately, there he was, Randhir, at the corner of the book rack, staring at her suspiciously with a book in hand.. She remembered him saying " Tum meri picha Kyun kar Rahi ho? I know tum yeh dekhne aayi ho na ki mein kaun si book refer karta Hun exam se pehle!" Sanyukta smiled a bit, but then she wasn't supposed to think about him! When she looked up, he wasn't there. 'God did I really imagine him being here??? unbelievable!" So the count is 2.. She took out some random book and left the place immediately..

I am going to the Mechanical Lab! I ll atleast be of some help to my Dream team, she decided.. Sanyukta tried entering the lab, there he was, Randhir again smiling naughtily at her.. It took her to the memories of the hate kiss. He had kissed her to show how much he hated her. She kissed him back to prove she is not loving him either. No, this is it I cannot think of him anymore, I already lost 3.

She collected all the materials required and started to work on her Blueprint. She was engrossed so much in her blueprint. Her attention diverted when she heard someone crying. The Cry came from outside but that took her to the day when Randhir hugged her like a kid "Koi kisi ka nahi hota Sanyukta! Tum bhi chali jaoge engagement karke" She felt bad for him.. "Oh hello! Count is now 4!" Her heart brought her back to present. She went out running..

Sanyukta went to the canteen! "I badly need some water" she took a glass of water and gulped it. "Yeh kya ho raha hai mere saath? God please save me!" Sanyukta pulled a chair and when was about to sit, she stumbled! "Tum kya chair samaj rakhi ho Mujhe! Jab dekho aake bait jaati ho" she felt Randhir teasing her. Count was No.5!! Sanyukta couldn't believe she was thinking about him all the way. What has he done to me? What kind of a task is this?"

When she got up to leave, there he was again standing! He smiled at her innocently and asked "We are friends na!!" Sanyukta started to run, she could not stay there anymore. It was number 6. I have only got 4 left.. When she crossed the basketball court, she remembered how he had forcefully inserted Sameer's ring in her hand. It was number 7. She climbed up the stairs, he caught her hand " Nahi ho rahi ho Tum late"! It was No.8..

Sanyukta rushed to her room and closed the door. She want panting, her heart was pumping hard. She was on the verge of throwing herself on the bed, when she was about to do so, she heard Him saying "Mujhe manana wanana nahi aata but I just want you to stop crying! Lagta hai iska fighter version Sirf mere saamne nikalta hai stupid girl"

Sanyukta screamed loud "Oh God! I have already thought about him 9 times.. I can't dare to think about him one more time. Please save meee"

"I am not going to go out anymore, I ll shut myself up in my room till 5 PM tomorrow! This is the only way, I can stop myself from losing" she decided..
