"And... Here we are. Benetton's Castle!" Vasusen said contently as he got off the car and had a look at the magnificently designed castle.
"Where are others? They were behind us. Right?" Vrushali asked.
"Well if practically seen there are chances that their car broke down." Shadev, greatly immersed in analysing the smooth walls of the castle, said.
"And that is what you books taught you?" Vasusen asked, confused.
"Will you too please shut up. Let me call them." Vrushali remarked as she took her cell out to call.
"Great! My cell battery is dead!" She said as she hailed a curse at the heavens.
"Mine too!" Vasusen said.
"Well so is with me!" Sahdev remarked.
Shocked at the coincidence, the three of them stared at each other with an absolutely dumb manner. Then they looked at the castle and Vasusen felt cursed.
While Panchi stood before a lake. The lake's water shone like moon. It was beautiful and way too enchanting to be ignored. That was what emitted light which attracted her attention.
She bent down to see her reflection in water. But instead of her reflection, she saw something else. She could see herself along with Paarth, as Paarth kissed her forehead. She was astonished.
"This the Lake of Desires. It shows our deepest desires which we try hard to hide from others. Even from ourselves." A voice rose up from behind.
Panchi stood up and turned around to find Govind there.
"And you know what your deepest desire is! Right?" Govind asked her.
"Some desires must not be fulfilled because they give nothing but endless pain." Panchi replied.
"Panchi desires are not meant to be crushed. You can kill your desires but a life without desires is same as a body without soul" Govind explained her with utmost patience. He knew that Panchi would understand every word.
"But Govind when desires take away happiness from your lives and you receive only pain, what would you call them?" Panchi asked him. She knew she loved Paarth a lot. But she did not want to accept it. Her heart desired love but destiny kept it far away from her.
"Struggle to fulfill your desires is called life Panchi. That is how I define life. You desires can be good or bad. But you thoughts influence your desires. Your thoughts will actually form the very foundation of the result of the desire. You cannot run away from those results. You have to face them!" Govind told her. He did not want her to run away from reality but accept it with open arms.
"Govind, for how long? How long will one fight? There will arrive a time when all his desires will end and all that will be left will be regret!" Panchi said. She couldn't accept that she loved Paarth. She was too weak for that. Her heart could not accept him nor it could deny him.
Govind bent down and touched the waters. Then gently, he took some water from the lake in his hands, which settled in his palm for a second and then flowed away and he said, "Did you see it? Water never settled in my palm. That is the truth of life. It is never settled. You will have problem and feel like all your desires should end. Problems arise when you mix two independent parts of your life together. But Panchi, past and present cannot be mixed. Can you mix oil and water? No. If you will try to do that oil will settle about water and you will not have water. And without water you cannot survive. You cannot mix your present with your past. You desires are bound by your past. Set them free. You will feel its freshness. Give your past and chance to fade away into pleasant memories of the present." Govind said. His words we divine. After all, he was divine.
