Chapter2: The half revealed truth

RECAP

Parth: I think we should break the door...

When Sanyukta opened it and ran towards her dad and hugged him.

Ramanujan: What happened dear?

Vardhan and Vihushi entered inside and they saw...

They saw Ananya (Vids and Sanyu's cousin) lying on the floor and her head bleeding profusely. Her parents Raj and Shikha ran to her. Vids and Sanyu were crying and Ramanujan consoled his sister(Shikha). Niharika was a doctor and also a part of their family so she was present in the party. She examined Ananya and said

Niharika: It's a major injury. She should be taken to the hospital A S A P.

Ramanujan: Vardhan you get the car, we will bring her down.

She was soon taken to the hospital.

HOSPITAL

The best services were provided to the Shridhar's. So Ananya was taken to the ICU. The best of the doctors were present for treating her. Ramanujan, Raj, Shikha, Vardhan, Niharika and Sanyukta were present there.

The red bulb turned off and the surgeon who was leading the other doctors came out. Shikha and Raj ran to him.

Shikha: (In tears) Doctor how's my daughter? She's fine right.

Surgeon: Yeh miss Swamyan, your daughter is fine. She will soon gain conscience in 20 mins or half an hour.

Shikha: Can I visit her?

Surgeon: Yes. Once she gains her conscience you can meet her.

All were relieved by the news. Sanyukta called at home and informed others about Ananya's health.

AFTER HALF AN HOUR OR SO

A nurse came out of the ICU

Nurse: The patient has gained conscience. You may meet her.

They went to the room and Shikha engulfed her in a comfortable hug. She patted her back and the question - answer round began.

They asked her many questions...

How are you?

Is the wound paining?

How did this happen?

Who did this?

She was hell irritated.

Ananya: Uggrh... Let me speak. I am fine. The wound is paining but not too much. I slipped from the floor and fell down. I don't remember what happened after that.

Niharika: OK dear. Now you take rest.

They came out of the ICU.

Ramanujan: Vardhan, you take Sanyukta and Niharika home.

Sanyukta: No I will wait. Please I want to be with Ananya.

Vardhan: It's getting late dear. We need to leave.

Sanyukta: But...

Niharika: No but's . You too need to take rest.

So the trio left the hospital.

Their car was parked on the opposite side. So they had to cross the road. While crossing the road Vardhan had reached ahead and Sanyukta was too behind. Niharika was in the middle of the road. Suddenly a truck came from front and was about to strike her when Vardhan pulled her back.

Sanyukta: (SHOUTING)Bhai??? Di...

She relieved as she saw them safe and she crossed the road safely to them. She hugged them as soon as she reached.

Sanyukta: You guys are fine right? Bhai lets leave. Today's day is the worst day of my life.

They reached their house and Sanyu narrated Vids the whole incident.

Vids : Sanyu you take rest now.

They went to sleep. Vids caught up with sleep soon but sleep was far away from the eyes of our Sanyu.

She twisted and turned for the whole night.

THE NEXT MORNING

Ananya was discharged late night and was brought home.

But then someone was ringing the door-bell.

Raj opened it. A boy was standing there with a bouquet in his hand.

Raj: Yes. Who are you? Who do you want?

Boy: I'm Parth's brother Sahil. I've come here to meet Ananya.

Raj: OK. Everyone's there in Vidushi's room.

Sahil: Yes Uncle.

IN VIDS AND SANYU'S ROOM

Everyone except elders were gossiping and chatting.

Sahil reached there and all smiled at him.

He gave the bouquet to Ananya

Sahil: How are you babes? And your dad, he doesn't even recognize me. How are we going to tell him about are relationship?

Ananya: Haww... instead of asking me am I fine or not you are blabbering this rubbish.

Vids : Choro yaar guys. Lets go to the disk tonight. We will have to refresh our minds. Only if you are fine with it Annu (Ananya).

Annu : Obvio di. I will come.

Sanyu : But mom and dad.

Vids : Bhai will explain them.

Vardhan: Why me always? Huh...

And they bursted out into a laughter looking at his disturbed face. The whole gang enjoyed their time but they were unknown about the storm that was slowly entering their life.
