Chapter 5: Their meet up

IN MEXICO

It was a pretty cold morning and Kausy was sleeping like a sloth. Both Randhir and Jiggy were getting restless. Randhir wanted to give them the surprise and Jiggy wanted to know what the surprise is. Randhir had already told Jiggy that he will be giving them a surprise when Kausy get up. Impatiently Jiggy and Randhir went and banged the door of her room. She felt like whacking the person who tried to disturb her. She marched towards the door and opened it. She found Jiggy standing over there. She had a pillow in her hand and she started hitting him. Jiggy was shocked as he expected the same treatment to be given to Randhir, but he had run away from there. Once Kausy was done with her hitting Jiggy shook her and said,

Jiggy: Arrey yaar, now stop it. I can't take it anymore. Come Randhir has a surprise for us.

They went to the dinning table where Randhir was having his breakfast. Jiggy was shooting draggers in his direction for leaving him alone. Randhir quickly apologized and made them both sit there.

Randhir: Guys there is a good news. We've got a case in India.

Both of them beamed with happiness. Of course, returning to one's own country after so long time will make the person happy. Randhir continued,

Randhir: Actually there's one more good news. The patient belongs to the Shridhar family.

Both Jiggy and Kausy thought for a while,

Jiggy: I suppose I've heard this name before. But where?

Kausy: Yeah. Even I've heard it somewhere.

Randhir: Guy's Parth, Parth's fianc is also a Shridhar.

Kausy: Yeah right! How can I forget that?

Randhir: I have a plan guys to surprise our dearest Parth.

Jiggy and Kausy in unison: What?

Randhir smirked and explained them the plan.

They finished their packing and their flight would take off at 10 AM sharp. They reached the airport and before that Randhir informed Swamiji of their arrival.

IN INDIA

As soon as Swamiji came to know about Randhir's arrival, he informed Mr. Ramanujan. They decided to talk to their children. They were especially worried about Vardhan and Vidhushi. Both of them never believed in any such things and both were short-tempered. They asked everyone to assemble in the living room and Ramanujan told them about everything.

Vardhan: What the hell is this? How can you all be so childish?

Vids: Exactly. There is nothing like this, please don't call any Swamiji and all.

Ramanujan was firm about his decision.

Ramanujan: I am not seeking any advice from you two. I am telling you that he will come here and I don't want any one of you to create some mess.

Both Vardhan and Vidhushi left the hall. Sanyukta followed suit.

AT THE AIRPORT

After some time Parth reached the airport as he came to know about his friends' arrival. He had met them after years. They hugged each other and then shared a group hug.

Parth: So? You all have forgotten me. Then hoe come you are here?

Randhir winked at Jiggy and Kausy to implement their plan.

Jiggy: We are here to talk with your fianc's father.

Parth was shocked. He knew that Vids and Ramanujan would kill him if his friends do some nonsense crap at their house. After all Ramanujan was a sophisticated persona.

Parth: A...abou... about wh... what?

Randhir: About your ex gf.

Parth: What??? What rubbish is this? You are not going to do anything like that, ok.

Kausy: But we've come here for that, so we will do it.

Parth: Arrey they will beat me black and blue. After so much coaxing from Sanyu they have agreed for my marriage.

Randhir started laughing like a maniac.

Randhir: Sanyu!!! Such a funny name your fianc has got. Hahahaha...

Parth: No she's not my fiance. She's my fianc's sister. But I won't allow you to go to their house.

Randhir: Oh! But we are going.

Parth was super tensed now. He thought, "What if Vids comes to know that I had 8 gf's???"

Randhir, Jiggy and Kausy broke out laughing looking at Parth's terrified face.

Parth was hell confused, but then he soon realized that he was such a big fool.

Parth: All this was a joke??? Huh...

They kept their luggage in Parth's car as they were going to stay at his place. Their journey started.

Parth: So what's the actual reason for coming to India?

Randhir: Actually...

He narrated Parth the whole story. Parth got tensed.

Randhir: What happened? Why are you so tensed?

Parth: Arrey Vidhushi, my fianc would be angry. She doesn't believe in all this.

They continued their journey and kept on talking about random things. They reached their destination very late and they slept as they had to visit the Shridhar House the next day.

EARLIER AT SHRIDHAR HOUSE

Swamiji came to examine their house. Everyone was present there. Swamiji carefully looked at everyone. He came to know that Vids and Vardhan didn't like his presence. Vardhan was not interested at all so he left for his office.

He then started examining the rooms on the whole. He stopped at a particular room and asked Ramanujan to open the door of that room. Vids got angry as it was her painting room.

The lock was opened and Swamiji saw the worst sight possible. The same panting of that classical dancer was lying there. (The painting about which it was mentioned in the prologue)

Swamiji: How did this painting come here to your house?

Nandini: My elder daughter had won it during her dance competition.

Swami: Throw it, it's a curse!

Everyone was terrified listening to this.

Vids: No. I won't allow anyone to throw this. I like this painting very much.

Swami: Yes. Now there is no use throwing this painting out. Better lock this room.

Vids: No, this is my room. You can't order to lock it.

Ramanujan: Vidhushi! Go back to your room. And Raj you please see to it that this room is locked.

Vids was hell angry at Swamiji. She stomped her foot and dashed towards her room. Sanyukta went behind her.

Swami: Mr. Ramanujan, Randhir and his friends will come here tomorrow.

Ramanujan: I will make sure they are comfortable here.

They bade good-by to Swamiji and then prepared rooms for Randhir and his friends.

NEXT DAY

Randhir was driving the car and Parth sat besides him to direct him. Jiggy and Kausy were busy with their mushy talks.

At her house Sanyukta was in the garden watering the plants .She had worn a t-shirt and pyjama's with a jacket on top. She was listening to music with her earphones and her phone kept in the pocket of her jacket. The ground was wet and slippery. She turned to water the other side and slipped. She was about to hit the ground and break her head when she felt a strong pair of arms encircled around her waist. She had closed her eyes in shock. She now opened them and saw an angelic face with two mesmerizing eyes gazing at her. He was some guy of about her age. She was now starring in his eyes and through them she was peeping in his sole. He was lost in her seraph face. She was so fragile and delicate. The strands of her hair which fell on her face were obstructing his view. He tucked them behind her ear. He was just gaping at her eyes filled with lots of emotions. They were just lost. Lost in their land, SanDhir land.
