Rey walked swiftly toward the front door and started talking without looking who is standing at the door.

"Kahaan thi tum? Kab se main tumhara intezaar kar raha tha" spoke Rey. After a split second, Rey realized that it was not Taani but Kriya who was standing at the door.

"Oh Kriya. Tum. Come in" said Rey trying to hide the disappointment in which he was successful. Although Rey was still a bit mad at Kriya for what she said, he did not want to spoil his mood.

Kriya entered the house. Her smile turned into a frown when she noticed the bandage wrapped around Rey's head.

"Rey yeh kya hua aap ko?" she panicked pointing towards the bandage.

"Woh kuch nahin. Bas aise ho chott lagi thi" answered Rey. "Tum bolo. Yahaan kaise aana hua?" asked Rey.

"Aap ke sawaal ka jawaab dene aayi hoon" she replied shyly.

"Haan toh do jawaab" he said, a bit confused by her odd behaviour.

"I love you too" she spoke before wrapping her arms around his neck.

The confused and shocked Rey had no idea how to react. He stared at Kriya after she finally broke the hug. What made it worse that Taani was standing near the door and had witnessed everything.

Rey noticed Taani from the corner of his eye.

He turned towards Taani and saw confusion and hurt on her face. She quickly walked away before Kriya noticed her.

Rey was terrified. He could not afford another misunderstanding to be created between them after everything they went through. He ran outside of the house leaving a confused Kriya behind and followed Taani who was walking on the street. Rey quickened his pace so he can catch up with her.

"Taani" he said panting and grabbing her elbows to make her face himself. "Tum jaisa soch rahi ho waisa kuch bhi nahin hai. Please try and understand" pleaded Rey.

"Rey please mujhe thodi der akela chor dijiye" she spoke with a hurt expression.

Rey let go of her elbows and watched her walk away from him. When you think everything is starting to fall in place, that's when the problems start. He clutched his hair out of frustration then walked towards his house wanting to shout at Kriya for creating misunderstandings between him and Taani.

Rey walked inside his house and as expected, Kriya was still there.

"Rey kahaan thhe aap?" asked Kriya trying to get close to him.

"Just stop it Kriya!" shouted Rey, startling Kriya. "Tumhari problem kya hai? Humesha mere close aane ki koshish karti rehti ho. You think that I love you? No! Main sirf aur sirf Taani se pyaar karta hoon damn it!"

Tears were streaming down her eyes, her voice found it hard to speak. Without uttering a word, she ran out of the house as Rey watched her go.

Rey lay down on a recliner chair in an almost 180 degrees angle with his hand on his head. If he wanted, he could have forced Taani to stay so he can justify what she saw but he knew that forcing her would make the situations even worse. The best thing was to do was give her some time and space.

After a long few minutes, Rey felt a light weight on his body. He jerked his eyes open but was happily surprised to see Taani lying on top of him. He quickly wrapped his arms around her waist to avoid her from falling.

"I'm sorry" said Taani in a low voice. "Maine overreact kar diya."

Rey tucked the strands of hair behind her ear with one hand and spoke. "I love you Taani...and don't ever question that." He had the fear of losing her in his voice.

Taani leaned closer to Rey and placed her lips on his cheek, giving him a quick peck.

"Wow Taani, aaj kal tum bohut confident ho rahi ho. I'm impressed" said Rey playfully.

"Reyy" she said digging her face into his chest as she blushed.

Rey cupped Taani's cheek with his right hand with the other still wrapped around her waist. He brought her face closer to his. Within moments, he closed the gap between them and kissed her slowly and passionately, caressing her cheek and hairs with his hand. They finally broke the kiss and leaned their foreheads against each other.

"I love you" they whispered smilingly to each other in unison.

"Chalo ab uthiye" said Taani struggling while trying to get out of his grip. Rey held her even tighter and nodded negatively with a cute pout.

"Rey" she spoke giving him a deadly glare which did not affect him a single bit.

"Agar aapne mujhe abhi nahin chora na" she said slowly whilst Rey waited for her to complete her sentence. "Toh aaj se one hand distance."

Rey immediately let go of Taani. One hand distance was equal to a nightmare for Rey. Taani stood up laughing and Rey also got up after her giving her an irritated look.

"You're so mean" he said in a childish tone.

Taani controlled her laugh but was still smiling. "Waise aap ne mujhe yahaan kyun bulaaya?" she asked.

"Apni girlfriend ko ghar bulaane ke liye koi reason hona chahiye?" he answered, wrapping his arms around her waist.

"Acha" spoke Taani. "By the way, Kriya ne aap ko I love you TOO' kyun kaha?" she asked stressing the word too'.

Rey smirked at her, knowing that she would ask that question at one point.

"Mujhe nahin pataa ke usne I love you TOO' kyun bola" again stressing the word too'. "Maine humare WhatsApp group pe question pucha tha ke humare next routine mein humein contemporary ya hip hop karna chahiye. Ab mujhe nahin pataa ke Contemporary ya hip hop?' ka answer I love you TOO' hai" replied Rey.

Taani smiled at his funny answer but then made a straight face. "Rey, Kriya ka mazaak matt udao" warned Taani.

"Ok madam" replied Rey.

Taani touched Rey's wound and asked "Rey aap ne apni bandage nahin change ki na?" already knowing the answer. Rey nodded negatively.

"I knew it" replied Taani. She made him sit on the sofa and took out the first aid kit from the drawer and replaced his bandage. Taani was about to walk away when Rey grabbed her wrist and pulled her towards himself, making her land on his lap. He gently held the side of her neck and placed a trial of kisses from her shoulder to her collarbone. Taani shut her eyes closed and roamed her fingers in his hair. The two looked into each other's eyes and saw nothing but love.

Taani got off from his lap and walked away out of shyness and faced her back towards him. Rey also got up and walked behind her. He placed his hand on her stomach and pulled her closer to himself, making her back crash into his chest. Rey nuzzled his face on her neck then planted a kiss on her neck.

"Love you sweetheart" he whispered, still nuzzling his face on her neck.

The sound of something falling came from the door. Taani and Rey both separated themselves from each other, probably thinking that Swayam was there to be the kabab-me-haddi again but this time it was not Swayam. Kriya bent down to pick up a half wrapped gift box from the floor which fell out of her hand. In the process, she wiped a tear away from her eye, hoping Taani or Rey do not notice.

Kriya walked towards Rey and Taani. Rey felt angry seeing her again but Taani felt sorry for her, knowing that she did cry after she left.

"Rey, aap ne kaha ke aap Taani se pyaar karte hai but can you please explain this" said Kriya as she handed Rey the card. Rey opened the card and was shocked to see his name there.

"I swear Kriya, maine yeh nahin bheja tha" said Rey. He kind of felt sorry for her because now he knew what created the misunderstanding in Kriya's mind. Taani took the card out of Rey's hand and inspected the handwriting.

"Rey yeh toh Vishesh ke handwriting hai. Uss ne yeh card bheja hai" cleared Taani.

Everything was clear for Taani and Rey but Kriya was still in confusion.

"Vishesh?" she asked, not knowing who he is.

Taani and Rey explained the entire story from the start. How they broke up until how they became one again. This made Kriya realize how much they are meant for each other.

"Wow" said an amazed Kriya. "Aap dono ek dusre se itna pyaar karte hai ke you are ready to sacrifice anything for each other. Mujhe lagaa ke main Rey se pyaar karti hoon lekin pyaar toh woh hai jo aap ek dusre se karte he."

Taani and Rey smiled at each other.

"You guys are meant to be for each other. Maine decide kiya hai ke main kal waapis New York jaa rahi hoon" continued Kriya.

She stepped forward and gave a hug to both Rey and Taani.

"I wish you guys all the best in life. Always stay happy" she wished before steadily walking out of the house.
