His fingers shivered touching her nape. He was ready to go through any kind of test that life puts him in except this. He remembered his promise very well and also the blames Khushi had put on him earlier that it was only his attraction towards her which had made him ignore his relationship with Lavanya. He tried to fix his gaze only on the hook of her necklace which he had to open and allow her take the necklace off but it seemed impossible to be done using only his fingers. He looked at her in the mirror. Her breathe was unstable and her hands were clutching the sides of her Wedding Lehnga to supress the butterflies in her stomach. When his fingers stopped working on her necklace she opened her eyes and saw him through the mirror. Till then he already had found a resolution to this problem. He leaned his lips at the hook of her necklace and Khushi's became stiff all of a sudden. He used his teeth to open the edge of the hook and was successful in assisting his newly wed wife take off that heavy necklace from her slender neck. Her eyes were closed again while he attempted this move and she didn't get the courage to open them again until she heard the bathroom door closing which meant he had purposely moved away from her not wanting his desires take control over his promises.
