Some one suggested this ff and in one go i read all the chapters. It is an emotionallly written beautiful story. It touches your heart. Really feel sad for khushi arnav and Anjali. Hope khushi's angel will help them all. Hope This new found love of Rapael and Anjali will help khushi to leave the fear of losing her Arnavji. Hope Rapael will be able to take out the fear from khushi with the help of Arnav. Arnav had caused this damage. But still my heart goes out to him. Anjali without any fault is also suffering. Hope all their sufferings will come to an end. Its really a heart touching story. Now waiting for the next update. Hope all of them will be able to help each other in healing their wounds.

Part 13.2

"Khushi?" Raphael looked at Arnav and Khushi, who stood at his door at 3 am in the morning.

"She wants to talk to you.." Arnav said and moved inside.

Raphael looked at Khushi, who still stood at the door. As she didn't make any move, he took her hand in his and brought her inside.

Raphael looked at Arnav, who was sprawled on the long sofa in the living area.

"Your husband is really weird, Khushi. He needs some serious help.." Raphael joked, in an attempt to lighten the atmosphere. But still got no reply from her side. Sighing, he took her to the same swing, where he had shared his past with her. Making her sit there, he sat beside her.

"Khushi? Will you tell me what happened? See, if it's about morning, then forget everything...forget everything I told you. I agree I liked her, but as you said, she is a stranger to me. And well ...there's nothing like love at first sight, now is it? No right? So forget everything, ok?" Raphael looked at her, wanting her to say something.

"Why?" Khushi lifted her head to look at him.

"What why, Khushi?"Raphael asked.

"Why am I so important to you? Who am I to you? You had said you are Arnav ji's friend. But you hardly talk to him. You say you are his friend and you even don't know his sister. Who are you? And why everything related to me matters to you so much?"

Raphael looked at her. He had not expected her to ask all these questions.

"Khushi..see..."

"No...don't lie to me...or try to feed any alternative. I want to know the truth."

"Ok! I am Raphael D'mello. You know that right? And yes, I am not your husband's friend. I am a psychiatrist. When you had succumbed yourself in your imaginary world and refused to come back to Arnav, he came to me, seeking for some help. He didn't wanted me to meet you. But afterwards he agreed but still he refused to bring you to my clinic for your treatment. And so I started coming to your place. To treat you."

"I am sick?" Khushi looked at Raphael, afraid.

Raphael shook his head and brought her close to him.

"No, sweetheart. You are not sick. You are perfectly fine. It was like, you had refused to meet everyone . You needed someone to share your feelings, to pour the things you have buried inside you. So I came to help you, to listen to you." Raphael smiled at her.

"Why? Why did you came? I am nobody to you."

"Why did I came? I don't know. I had not seen you before, still I came. I don't know why I came. But once I met the timid girl, sitting in the corner, wanting to hide from everyone, I knew I have to come again. Don't ask me why, because I have no answers for that. "

"Why am I so important to you, more than your love at first sight love? Why?"

Raphael stared down at her. Why? He don't know why. All he knows is that he don't want to be the reason of her sadness, he don't want to upset her, he don't want to go away from her, he don't want to make her sad. He don't want to lose her. But why? He don't have any answer for that. May be one day he will get an answer, but for now he don't have any.

"I don't know, Khushi. Can you tell me why Arnav is important to you?"

"Because I love him" was Khushi's immediate answer.

"Then I think I love you too...like a friend?...a brother?...father?...just a companion...?...I don't know..."

Khushi looked at his confused face as tears took their course.

"I am a very bad person...very bad person...don't love me...I am bad...very bad...from now on don't come to meet me...I am very bad person ... very ... very..." Khushi choked, the sobs not allowing her to continue further.

Raphael hugged her.

"Shhh...Shh Khushi...Who told my Khushi is a bad person?...Is that your irritating husband? ... Just tell me who told that to you, I will teach him a good lesson...shhh...Khushi is not bad...She is a good girl...a very very good girl..."

"No...I am bad...very bad...you were asking for my help and what I did?...You have always helped me...always...And the very first time you asked for something, I refused...But...but I don't want to lose you...but I want to help you too...I...Why I have become like this...?..Why I have become so selfish? ... Why..? I hate myself...I hate myself... Help me ...help me please...please...I am not liking myself...I ... I hate myself..." Khushi cried, clinging to him like a lost child.

"Khushi! Khushi look at me...Khushi..." he lifted her face to look at him. "Stop saying that, will you?" Raphael chided her. "You have done nothing. You are not selfish. And now forget everything I had said to you in the morning. Please Khushi."

Khushi shook her head.

"No...I ...I...I can't forget ...I can't...you need my help...I want to help you...I will help you.."

"Khushi, I don't need any help. I don't need anything" Raphael prayed for some patience, she was being unreasonable.

"No...I will help you...I will..."

"For God sake, WILL YOU STOP THIS KHUSHI!!" and his patience snapped.

Khushi's damp eyes jerked up to collide with his angry one.

"We are not discussing it anymore! Just go back with your husband and leave me in peace. I don't need your help. I don't need anyone, I am happy the way I am. Can't you listen?!! I SAID LEAVE!!" getting up from the swing, he pointed towards the exit.

Khushi looked at him, sobbing.

"But...but you were not sleeping when I came.."

Raphael looked at her. Unbelievable!!

"Khushi..." Raphael started but was forced to stop as Khushi has launched herself in his arms. His arms lifted to hold her.

"Please..Please let me help you...I just want to help you ... please ... please ... please say yes...I want to help you...please..."

Raphael closed his eyes. What is he supposed to do with her?

"Khushi...Khushi, child I don't need any help...Forget whatever I said ... please ..."

Khushi moved little back to look at him.

"But I want to help you, please?...Please say yes...Humare liye...please for my sake?"

Raphael's shoulder slummed in defeat.

"Khushi..."

"Please?"

Raphael looked at her. Clearing the damp strands from her face, he kissed her forehead.

"Ok.."

Khushi gave a nervous smile.

"Thank you...thank you so much..." Khushi hugged him.

"Ok! Now go back and sleep and let me sleep..." they started towards the exit.

"See him." Raphael pointed towards the sofa. "He is the least bothered one here"

"Hello Mister! This is my sofa not your bed. Go back and sleep on your bed." Raphael shook Arnav.

Arnav opened his groggy eyes.

"Uhh? Is your discussion over?" Arnav asked, rubbing his eyes and getting up from the sofa

"And you love him?" Raphael asked Khushi. "You were upset and see him, he is the least bothered one.."

"Hello, she was not upset because of me. It's you. You had upset her" Arnav countered immediately.

"Ok! Go now you both. I need to sleep. I am not a billionaire like you, who can spend his life doing nothing. I have to work and for that I need to sleep."

"That was rude.."

Raphael looked to his left.

"That was not for you, sweetheart.." Raphael smiled.

Khushi smiled back.

"God! You both are so cheesy. Khushi came, we will go.." Arnav walked towards them and took her hand.

"Bye.." Khushi waved her hand at Raphael.

Raphael smiled and waved back. But the smile dropped as soon as they exited his house. He don't know how Khushi will handle all this. He don't want her to do this but he knows refusing her will not help her either. It will not be easy for her but... Raphael felt a new found emotion surge through him. Still she is doing this for him. He smiled. Having lived half of his life alone, unloved, not cared, unattended, it felt so overwhelming to see someone caring for him. And he promised himself that he will never hurt her. She will be his very first priority, always.

Ok, Guys! As my exams are over, I will be pretty regular with the updates. But what's irritating me is the decreasing number of likes and comments. I send 300+ PMs and in return I get hardly 200 likes. I don't have any problem with that but If I am getting only 200 likes and 10 pages of comment then I would like to send PM's to only those 200 people.
