Chapter 8

"Excuse me!! Wait!!!" Rey snapped backwards finding the source of voice. A blonde dressed in a skiny beach dress called him as she crossed the road to reach his side. Looking at her pretty face, he quickly pulled up his charm suddenly turning all husky and sexy. She panted as she finally reached him.

"Ya?!! How can I help you Ms...??!!" He asked in a cool deep husky voice.

"The name is Ana.." She said with a smile. The British accent was hard to miss.

"Ana!! Beautiful name for a beautiful girl!!" He instantly threw a cheesy flirtatious line on her while mentally slapping himself for putting up such a black-in-white comment.

"Thanks.." She said casually. "Actually I was wondering, can you just help me with this address..I am kind of lost.." Her eyes looked hopeful while his face dropped down immediately. Address?! Is she here to ask for the address?! Do I look like a guide here?!

"Excuse me!!" She snapped him out of his thoughts. "Sorry but I am getting late..My boyfriend is waiting there for me.." She again gave a small smile with large glittering eyes and he mentally beat the hell of himself. Boyfriend?! Now that's the limit!! This girl has a boyfriend! What's up with my luck?! Poor me!

"Umm..Mr...Please can you do a little faster..." She once again disrupted his thoughts and he gave a frustrated and sad look to her.

"I'm so sorry Ana! I'm a tourist too! Can't help really.." Hiding back his frustration, he tried acting as humble as he can.

"Ohh.." Her face dropped a little. "Its okk!! I'll ask someone else!" She brought back her smile instantly making him a little surprise. Girls and their mercurial moods!! He mentally shrug his head on her. Biding him a goodbye, she moved ahead. Here goes one girl. The account stays on nil.

"Why the hell all the blonde girls in this world have to be commited!!!" He shrieked loudly getting a weird response from the nearby people.

"Because they have brains boy!!" He heard a familiar voice from right behind him. Knowing who it belongs to, he rolled his eyes while turning to face her. Time for Lectures.

"Taani.." He rolled his eyes again.

"Again!! I can't believe this! Once again you lost a chance! Rey?!!" She snapped while faking a pity look. He shrugged. Her laughing eyes told everything.

"Ya! Ya!! Go on!! Uda le mera mazak!!" He raised his hands in resignation.

"C'mon Rey! You must admit it! Tu koi Hrithik Roshan ya Shahrukh Khan to hai nahi, jiske peeche ladkiyan bhaagti bhaagti aayengi..Dude!! Girls want hot and sexy!!" She said the last words in deep sensational voice.

"Oh really?!!" He arched his eyebrow. She nodded.

"Matlab ki mein hot and sexy nahi ho?!" He came a step closer.

"Exactly, My boy!!" She said with a big smile.

"To phir tu mere saath kya kar rahi hai..." He grinned turning the tables at her.

"Mere paas koi aur option hai kya?!" She rolled her eyes not meeting his gaze.

"Aur agar hota to?!!"

"Hota to matlab?!!"

"Matlab, agar tujhe bhi koi HOT and SEXY ladka mil gaya to..Will you ditch me?!!" Confusion clearly written on her face. She never thought about it at all. What after him?! Whereas he was in doubt. Needing the answer. Though the equation was always clear, he never thought about the word 'AFTER' . What after her?!

"Depends" She gain her attitude not at all ready to lose.

"On what?!!" He was now more interested. A step closer . They were just one step away.

"Well..how handsome that guy is..if he takes care of me..if he can bear me..if he can oblige all my requests..if he can be a perfect BOYRFRIEND material." She said casually ignoring his doubting eyes.

"You want a boyfriend?!! I thought..." He left the words hanging in between.

"Dude!! Its different between us. But kabhi na kabhi to Amma Appa shaadi ke liye bolenge, tab ek perfect Husband Material to unke saamne rakhna padega na!! Aur ek perfect Husband vo hi hoga jo ek perfect Boyfriend ho..Simple!" He looked at her with wide eyes.

"Taani, are you sure tu mujhe dhakke marke bahar nikalne ka plan nahi bana rahi?!! Because now I am really scared!"
"Shut up!! I am just saying the obvious...Kabhi na kabhi to aisa hona hi hai...hum thodi na poori life aise reh sakte hai.." She said coolly. "But kaash! Reh sakte.." She murmured. "No responsibilities, no ties, no big dramas just a simple cool life on a simple equation..." She sighed.

"Oh!! Ms. Foresighter!! Kitna aage ka sochegi?!! Stop this, right now...hum Goa mein hai..holidays pe..so lets not make this a mourning place.." He shrugged.

"What did I do?! It was you who started!" She snapped at him.

"Okay fine!! But the big hanging question is what are you doing here?!! Tujhe sona nahi hai kya?!" He asked frustrated.

"No!! Mein koi bhi moment waste nahi karna chahti..that's why I'll go to the beach!" She declared and moved ahead.

"I'll go to the beach!!" He mimicked her. This girl was enough to blow her mind.

The sunny weather added glory to the golden sand. The beach was filled with different colors of bikini girls. Some relaxing, some playing sports while others just roam around. From honeymoon couples to families, the people around were diverse.

Taani took sips from her coconut through the straw while Rey's eyes continue to ogle the girls. Walking at the shore the coming waves frequently wet their legs simultaneously erasing their footprints behind.

"Kitna dekhega??! Aankhe nikal ke bahar aa jayegi!" She snapped at him.

"Tu kyun tension le rahi hai..tujhe to tera Mr. Perfect mil jayega.." She suddenly choked on her statement. He smirked.

"Its been half an hour. Damn half an hour since that conversation finished aur tu abhi bhi ussi pe atka hai.."

"To aur kya karu??! Tune to mujhe bethe-bethe tension de di!! Agar tujhe koi Mr. Perfect Boyrfriend mil gaya..to mera patta to cut!! You'll throw me out of your house!!"

"What?!!" She looked at him wide eyed, completely shocked. "How can you even think like this?! Dude, I am never going to do that! And you know it already!! What you think, meine tujhe apne ghar mein isliye rakh rakha hai ki har weekend mein kisi ke saath intimate ho saku!! This is what you think of me!" She glared at him making him realise. This has gone too far.

"Wow!! Wow!! I never meant that!"

"So what else you meant?!! I can't believe you think so low of me, Rey! I'm not going to use you like a trash. Whatever is there between us, its mutual consent. Hum dono ne milke decide kiya tha!! Then How can you even think that if I'll get another boy, I'll throw you out of my house!!!"

"Taani..Taani..you are getting it wrong..I was just trying to say.." He tried calming her down though now it was too late.

"What were you trying to say, ha?! That I use boys! I think you are forgetting that besides this equation we have always been best friends..If I get a guy we'll obviously stop the sex but you'll stay my best friend! But I think you forget the whole thing behind this cheap thought!"

"Taani..No..you are misunderstanding.."

"I am misunderstanding. You just indirectly called me a hoe and I am misunderstanding?!!" She was fuming with anger. Rey looked around. Almost all the eyes on them. He gulped. Now this is going to be a mindblowing memory of Goa.

Taani found herself blazing in anger. This man..who has been a loyal friend for so many years...this man who she adored so much..was actually thinking so low of her. This is hell of a moment. If not in a public place, he could have got his piece of shit.

"Now why are you so quiet?!!" She snapped at him. He suddenly found a deep pleasure in sinking beneath the Earth. Even small kids were taking interest in their fight. Oblivious to stares, she was in her own fierce mood.

"What happened?!!" She shouted again and this time all the records were broken. Pitch too high to distract the life guard who was quite far from them, staring at the clear ocean. This was the limit!!

Time for some action, Rey!! He thought and mentally took a deep breath.

The next moment, a huge gasp spread in the beach as everyone ogled the two people standing in the middle kissing each other. Rey had already grabbed her face as he nibbled her lower lip completely shutting her for a few minutes. The entire aura suddenly became seductive. People shamelessly stared at the duo, kids dropped their respective works to enjoy the scene and the two show stoppers were busy in the kiss. The fight long forgotten. Her hands wrap around his waist then travelling to his back trying to touch his skin through his shirt. He caught her tightly while dominating the kiss not allowing a single chance for her to separate. He had seen enough. This girl need to shut her mouth and he knew well how to do it. His tongue struggled with hers for dominance. While he was throwing back his anger, frustration and deep down fear through the kiss, she suddenly melted. This was undoubtedly not the first, but this was definitely different. For the first time, a tingle ran through her spine, as he kissed her. She felt knots in her stomach, feeling of need..needing more. An exquisite feeling drowned her. She suddenly felt complete, fulfilled, content. Her inner goddess dancing in full joy while her happiness knew no bounds. What's happening to me?!! She thought in between the kiss while slowly he drifted away. He was panting, his head so close to hers, almost touching. It was then she realised, she was breathless too.

"Don't you dare to do all this again in public..." He said in between her breath. It took her a while to grab his words.

"I can't believe, I just kissed you in public! Damn taani!! Please learn to control your anger!" He hissed at her and suddenly she felt her inner goddess sinking down. Her happiness flattened. Was all this just to control the situation?!

Deep in thoughts, she never realised when he took off his hands. The crowd slowly started buzzing away. Avoiding them, Rey too started walking away leaving her alone on the spot. She was diving in her thoughts. Sadness erupted in her, mind became passive and she suddenly felt down. Why?! She had no answer. But here she stood, where he just kissed her and she felt butterflies, she felt happiness but now everything was just to control the situation and she was alone..on the same spot..with no answers and a deeply clenching heart. What's happening to me?!

So..I hope you all liked it.
