Chapter 8

The winner was quite obvious and the results were just a formality which had to be done. As expected she won by a land slide by getting more than 99% of the votes. Though it was announced that Kria had edged the D3 team to win the competition but everyone knew that she would have won by a huge margin. (Note: Kria had asked the principal sir to not tell the college students everyone about the margin of the victory)

After the competition

Rinni: Guys we lost the match badly. Guys she was just out of the world

Simmi: Yes guys when did she became so good. I mean it is one thing to be good at a particular style but to have such a command at every dance style is freaky.

Swayam: Guys we all know how good she was. I mean look at us how bad she might be but one thing is true and will always be she is still the person who made us what we are. I mean when she challenged you guys and formed her team she did almost everything to help us no matter what. Though it might have been for her own selfish reasons but still the amount we learned from her was still something else. Even though all that but still I can't believe that she had mastered every dance form. I mean even a highly passionate and dedicated person will find it to master all that too in 2 and a half years. I mean this is scary.

Every one listened to Swayam carefully. All though didn't like Kria but after today they had to admit to of her superiority over all of them. They all were discussing about Kria when they were informed that Kria had called the entire gang in the rehearsal hall. While everyone was on their way there they heard a few of their college mates talking.

Boy1: Man she is so damn hot and what an awesome dancer.

Boy2: Yes bro you are right she kicked the asses of probably our countries best college team like it was no sweat.

Girl: Yes you are right I mean I knew she is a good dancer but this good never imagined it. She would probably be among the best in the world. I mean how lucky are we that she is going to be here for the entire year and conduct workshops. I mean how awesome is that.

The gang felt irritated listening to everyone saying Kria is this Kria is that, so they decided to leave not listening further. Though they themselves were doing the same a while ago but still did not want anyone do it. Everyone reached there with their heads down and fear of what kind of things she is going to ask them to do. But the embarrassment of the loss even after all the handicaps they had put on was the most affecting one. They were surprised to see Kria dancing at the time they entered the rehearsal hall. As soon as they entered she paused the music and walked towards them with a fake cunning smirk on her face. As soon as she reached them she handed each of them with a schedule of the workshops and their new class schedule. Everyone on seeing the schedule had an expression of disbelief all over their face. They spit out their discontent

Rey: Are you trying to kill us? Workshops from 1.30 to 6.30! This is insane. No one can pull of this schedule. And what the hell you changed are class schedule as well.

Kria: (Walked towards him and in a teasing tone) Arey Baby is afraid of hard work. (Now in affirmative tone just like she had when she was in New York) You like it or not this is the way it is and you have to comply. I have already taken permission from Principal Sir and your subject teachers who all have agreed to take extra classes for all of us during our free periods in the first half of the college hours. You better bring refreshments along with you as you are going to have only a 15 minutes break at 4. Every minute you are late you will have to work for 5 more minutes. If you need a day off I need to be informed and if I approve of the excuse then only you'll be granted the leave. You all will do as I say as it was decided in our bet with no questions asked. Don't worry as I will be sharing the same schedule and rules. I'll be out with some commitment at the end of the month for 5 days and at that time though you are free to do anything but I would suggest you practice daily because if I see any decrease in your stamina then you'll have some serious training ahead. Like I said I'll give and show you the real Kria this time around.

Taani: What the hell, it is no concentration camp and you are no Hitler for god sake. Show some humanity

Kria: Girl I am (emphasizing on I am) showing humanity and if I stop that which I will if my rules are not followed then you will know the actual meaning of hard work. Put this in your head all of you I can be worse than Hitler. And coming to you; you are not part of the dance team and I don't want any distractions but I can still allow you attend these workshops with them as I have heard that you are an average dancer and plus a part of their group so I can make an exception only if you agree to do all they are asked to do and follow all the rules. Remember I won't allow any funny stuff here, so if you cannot handle this every day then you better stay away. If you decide to not follow the rules even for once you'll be prohibited from entering the rehearsal hall during this time. And everyone listen carefully talking to anyone won't do you any good as I have taken permission of all the people involved plus I expect you all to honor our bet. Now as I have to unpack my stuff and prepare for tomorrow so I am relaxing today's workshop. Go rest and get ready for tomorrow. Taani you have a day to think about what you want to do. If you are up for the task just come with them tomorrow and if not don't show up during these timings. Any doubts

Everyone shook their heads in negations like small children. The authority with which she spoke made them just listen to her not argue at all. The authoritative Kria was back after she had won their bet. Seeing their approval to the rules she leaves. The entire gang were just staring at each other like fools still trying to digest what just happened and then after a few minutes they also leave for the canteen. They see a huge crowd gathered near the notice board and then they hear two juniors talking to each other.

Junior 1: Will you go for the dance classes organized by Kria?

Junior 2: Of course, I love dancing and who better to teach than her. Didn't you see how amazing she is? She kicked the butt of Rey and his team and oh god she looks so damn sexy and hot. Who would not won't to go and learn from her? According to me several people might just take these classes just to give their eyes a feast for the 2 whole hours every day and probably get lucky and get close to her.

The gang heard the entire conversation and Rey and Swayam were tempted to slap the idiot they heard saying all this rubbish. But still could not understand when she was planning on taking the classes seeing the already hectic schedule in their hand. So they decided to see the notice board where another surprise was waiting for them. By now they had started to get used to the surprises she was throwing at them. They reach the notice board and on seeing the notice they were actually shocked to the core and really questioned is she even human

NOTICE

Hello guys. This is Kria Ghai and I have put the notice to let you know I will be taking dance classes for those who are interested in learning dance. The fee for the dance classes is 5000 per month. The classes will be held every day. The timings are as follows

Batch 1 Batch 2

Monday - Saturday 6AM - 8AM 6.30 PM - 8.30 PM

The classes will be held in the rehearsal hall. I have already got all the permissions I need so you don't need to worry about it. Meanwhile on Sundays there won't be any scheduled classes but in case anyone needs help regarding some dance steps they are free to come to my house with a prior notice. The classes start from tomorrow. And it is free to attend the first week.

Note: no funny business will be tolerated and really interested people are requested to apply. The fees can be negotiated according to your financial situations so do contact even if you find the fee a bit high. Also I must let you know that I'll not be available for a week during the end of the month so this month I'll be taking only 4000 as the fee amount. If I find you are not interested in learning you'll be literally thrown out of the classes, so I say again only actually interested people apply. Be punctual.

After reading the notice all went home thinking how does she plan on pulling that schedule? It is humanely impossible. On digesting the fact that she does plan on doing all she said they got worried about the workshops starting from tomorrow.

Chapter 6(i)

Kria: This is your chance to humiliate me and still fulfill your dreams but be aware as I never lose and I won't this time also. And once I win which I will you would have no choice but to listen to me. You all are free to back off from the challenge as I can understand the fear of facing me. I would not want to face me if I were you.
She spoke emphasizing on the last line.
That was it, they could no longer stand and in the heat of the moment they blurted out that she was on. To this grinned which frustrated everybody even more.
Kria: You have 2 hours to decide what kind of rules and restrictions you want on me, whether you want to perform as a group or have a one on one competition. It all depends upon you. Be ready with your answer and meet me here in 2 hours.
After listening to her they all leave
In the rehearsal hall everyone discussing what kind of competition should that be. By now they had calmed down but were not ready to lose to her and for the first time they were ready to do anything to win even if it meant to swallow their prides and do what was necessary.
Rey: Guys we did say yes so now we have to make sure that we don't lose to her.
Sharon: look how arrogant she is. She challenged us and told us we can have any rules for the competition, like she was sure of her victory. And that grin was so annoying. Let's defeat her in what she thinks she is the best at dance'. I will face her one on one and defeat her and shatter her ego. She said in a go riding her emotions
Everyone looked at each other some nodded and some were not sure about that. Soon Swayam addressed the gang.
Swayam: Guys wait a minute, don't rush things. I am not saying that we are not good dancers we are great but honestly tell guys we did see her dance just now and do you really think Sharon; no as a matter of fact any one of us can actually outperform her. Though it hurts me to admit but she has improved thousand folds and she is really at a different level. I don't want to lose to her that's why I am saying let's think everything through.
Sharon though felt offended but knew he was right and she admired his ability to keep his head cool even when nobody else could.
There was a pin drop silence and they started to think again. They thought what if they make it a hip hop battle as they remembered it to be a style she was never really fond of but soon they remembered today's performance in which she did some hip hop steps that too really difficult ones with so much ease and command which made them discarded it. When not able to come to any conclusion they decide to have a simple dance face off and they thought by performing as a group they could cover for each other's weaknesses and highlight their strengths and may be win against her. But this time they did not want to take any chances and wanted to win even if it meant to make it an unfair battle for her so it was decided that the song she had to perform on would be given by them. As for them they already had a choreography done for the song which they had previously planned to showcase to the transfer student.
They went to the auditorium and were shocked to see Kria all drenched in sweat and it appeared as if she had been dancing for the entire two hours. She looked so sexy and hot while doing whacking that the entire gang had their eyes glued on her (not in a perverted manner but more like they were shocked how she was performing looking so good). As soon as she saw the gang she stopped and came to them.
Kria: So decided on how you want it.
Everyone nodded and Swayam told her about the conditions and waited for her response. Everyone had anticipated some kind of reluctance in accepting the rule as she hardly has any time for choreographing a new song. But to their surprise she said
Kria: So aiming for the victory huh. Great is this the only additional rule you want to enforce? (Everyone thought whether she was kidding by saying that is it the only rule they wanted to enforce as this rule basically gave them the victory in their hands or so they thought. But she appeared so calm that they thought she could only be bluffing) what about the judges?
Swayam: We'll ask the students and the teachers to decide the winner
Kria: OK and which song do you want me to perform on?
Swayam: it will be a mix of Bollywood, Hollywood and some random tunes. (He smiled wickedly thinking they have already won)
Kria: Nice plan but you still won't win. So when do you plan to give me the song on which I have to perform and if possible let's keep the competition tomorrow at 9 AM as I don't want to waste much of my time.
Another shock came their way, they never imagined that she would keep the competition so early. They had thought that she would ask them to keep the competition as late as possible so
Swayam: OK the competition will be at 9 and we will give you your song by 8 today. Hope it is fine
Again wishing for her to contradict but that would never happen.
Kria: OK fine with that so tomorrow at 9 it will be decided for once and all who is better. I'll go and talk to Principal Sir to make the arrangements and don't worry I will make it sound like it is a part of my plan to start the tie up.
Saying she leaves for the Principal Sir's office. (She had already asked him to stay a bit late if it was possible)
Now after she left the gang started working upon the song. They made the song in such a way that it would be impossible to do a decent choreography on it or say thought. Though they were done by 7, they decided not to give her the song before 8 unless she asks for it. While they were sitting alone they again started discussing again about Kria.
Kria had arrived and as soon she saw them starting to discuss about her and dance she thought to quietly listen to their conversation and get a better idea of how they looked upon her.
For the first time Taani spoke since Kria came back. Till now she silently heard everything trying to grasp what she could understood which was making her go all crazy.
Taani: Guys could you please enlighten me on the hot topic of the day please.
She said trying to calm the atmosphere

Kria: I said no questions will be asked regarding my way of teaching. So you get your laptop quickly.

Sharon: I know Simmi, I mean I wonder what makes her so passionate about dance.

Rey: Sharon you don't know how much I have thought about the reason but still have never understood. I mean I always felt dance always expresses what you feel deep down in your heart and souls but I have always failed to understand what is residing in that soul of hers which is so selfish and still brings out so much passion. I guess she will always remain a mystery to us.

Swayam: I think we should go and check on her condition. What say guys?

D: Are you all mad? You played such a dirty prank for a petty fight you had with this girl. How dare you all? Do you even know what your actions could have caused? You have no right to play with a life of such a young girl. Do you even realize what could happen if she decides to complain against you?

Note:

Sorry guys you might consider me to be a sadist after reading the next chapters but the coming few chapters are very essential for the progress of the story.
Meanwhile it will take me 1 or two days to give you all the next update so there is a slight preview of what can you can expect from the coming chapters in the next post

i mean i plan on revealing the truth about her past slowly and steadily because if it gets revealed all at once then it would be no fun
Plus like the title says i want to try showing the changes that will occur and how they all will react every time they get to know a small part of her life.
really srry if you wanted the truth to get revealed soon but our Kria is pretty stubborn to not let it get out so soon.
