There have been a lot of issues with spamming in threads recently. A thread being locked has also caused a lot of chaos but as stated on multiple occasions, that thread was locked because it was a second offense!
For all first offenses, we merely post a note in the thread.
First of all, before I get into what is not permitted, these rules will NOT change. You may not agree with them, but they will not be changed. These will remain and action will be taken according to these rules!
Anything that is NOT relevant to the story itself will not be permitted to be posted in Fan Fiction threads.
Poems relevant to the story, or suggestions for the writer can be posted. You may also post comments for prologues, promos, or teasers. However, if an author posts a Note, try not to comment unnecessarily! Scrap them, or PM them. Same goes if you're waiting for an update.
'Update soon', 'we're waiting' comments will not be permitted! Also, authors, refrain from opening a new thread until the previous thread has finished to avoid chatting and random 'congratulations' only comments on the new thread! Those will be considered spamming.
Any videos, pictures or any other works of art/creations will be permissible as long as they're relevant to the story!
If you want to chat about your life, how your day went or how much you dislike IF, open a chat club at the Chat Club Forum and discuss there! You're free to do that all you want there. Not at this forum.
Authors are responsible for their threads! If spamming is occuring in their thread and they have not bothered to report it, and are instead, liking the posts, you will be held accountable! All we ask is that you take of your threads because we cannot take care of every single thread.
If an author has posted a note already but members continue to spam, the author is required to inform the DT so that we can step in. This time, it would not be the fault of the author and those members would be dealt with.
