PROLOGUE

The phone buzzed loudly ruining the pin drop silence, sans heavy and steady breathing, which filled the room. Arnav scowled in his sleep as the disturbing noise penetrated his ear drums. He buried his face in the pillow trying to escape the sound. As it didn't help him much, he screamed waking up his friend, NK. "NK...NK...stop that noise." He said trying to cover his head with another pillow.

He felt some moment on the bed and swore under his breath. Next moment the noise increased making his head to throb. "It's your damn phone, Nannav. You shut it off!" NK squealed throwing Arnav's phone near him before covering himself fully with blanket as if it will prevent the annoying noise from reaching him.

Arnav tried to open his eyes but appearance of sudden pain on his temple made him to shut his eyes again. Holding his forehead in his fingers, he guessed the reason for his pain. Then he remembered that he was completely drunk. Another reason for his head ache is lack of sleep.

Yesterday whole night he was preparing for his exam and today after writing his final exam, he started partying with his friends after all it is his last day in this university and hostel with his friends. It was one in the midnight when they finally retired to the bed. He opened his sleepy eyes with great difficulty and read the words which flashed on the screen.

"Unknown Number!"

He howled and attended the call. "Hello!" He mumbled sleepily as his eyes dropped down once again on its own accord. Silence prevailed on the other end of the line allowing him to fall into slumber yet again.

"I am going, Arnav and this time it's forever. Be happy." An anger filled girl's voice came from the other end.

"Okaaay." Arnav muttered in his sleep. He heard something like angry groan in response.

"But remember one thing. You are responsible for MY DEATH and you will suffer for it."

The line went dead and Arnav blinked in confusion. As the words began to sink inside him, he sat up with a jerk in shock; effect of alcohol evaporated into thin air. He replayed the whole conversation in his mind only to swear loudly.

"What the ****?"

So how was the start??? As I told no mystery or suspense...

Wow this is totally different and awesome!

I should thank Siva and her birthday because of both we got a new SS😆

Okay coming to the prologue, first of all thank you so much for using hostel, making Arnav stay at hostel! I am so happy, for the first time I am reading about hosteler Arnav😳

LOL whose call was that? And why did she say 'this time' ? Have she tried before too? And why is she dying? And you say no mystery! 😆

Waiting for the next chapter! :D
