The sun was peek-a-booing with the clouds while the breeze was gentle and freshening.

As closed his eyes to feel the breeze sweeping his face, a sound sweeter than music wafted to his ears.

If not the ear pleasing laughter, the sudden acceleration of his heart beats was indeed enough proof to inform him who she was.

Khushi'

He murmured her name softly and it did wonders to his system.

He could feel his mind and body relaxing with the sound of her name simultaneous with the sound of that laughter.

Was he imagining that sweet laugh?

To confirm his doubts he opened his eyes and looked down the terrace to find her seated in one of the functional furniture assembled in a corner of the lawn.

Seated with Abhay.

He corrected mentally while his eyes never left her face.

That free laughter of hers had by now dissolved into a heart-warming smile but he couldn't smile with her.

Her smile niggled him.

Why did she never smile in his company, or at him?

Why can't he make her this happy?

Something was wrong..!!!

Why the hell is he caring about if she smiles at him or not..?

And most importantly why her being with Abhay gives him a sense of loss?

And hell importantly, why hasn't he still made her pay for the slap?

How can he override and simply ignore that slap?

Something is indeed wrong with him.

This gill is more than a physical want to him.

That was confirmed.

She's...special.

Special in what sense? That was yet to be confirmed.

So, to make that confirm, he scurried down to the lawn in long purposeful strides.
