I know I'm a bit late and sorry for that. I'm actually caught up with assignments and exams. The next installment will be updated on 9^th November.

Part 15:

Kriya was shocked beyond core. She had expected him to understand her though not completely. But this action of his stunned her. From whatever she knows about him she never thought that he would raise his hand again a lady.

"Are you nuts? Do you have any idea regarding what you've done? In case if something would have happened to you, what would I answer my parents, your parents and most importantly Kaira. You are such a big fool. When you know that your ex husband has been dead right in front of your eyes then how do you expect him to be alive in front of you?" He yelled. The one thing that he lacked very much was tolerance. At times he would act instinctively without having a second thought.

Kriya had enough of him. She knew she was at fault but this man has right to slap her.

"What the hell do you think of yourself? Who the hell are you to slap me? You know what; I thought you would at least try to understand my situation. But no, you've proved that you can never understand my feelings. Had you truly loved Payal then you would understand my phase when I saw a guy with a same face as Rajeev."

"Dare not you question my love for Payal." He warned her. This argument was heeding no where. Both of them had ego problems. Rey started walking without bothering about Kriya. This gave another reason for her to have a dislike for him. She started following him as she had no other option while constantly rubbing her cheek as it hurt her. All through their way back to the hotel none of them spoke to each other. Once they reached back their room, they freshened up and lay on the either sides of the bed facing away from each other but none of them slept. Both of them were deliberating about the incident that occurred sometime back.

The next morning Rey woke earlier than Kriya. As he turned around he saw Kriya facing towards him and sleeping. For a moment he stared at her observing her face. He had to admit that she's really beautiful maybe slightly more than Payal. Her face felt so serene and peaceful. If he had any feelings for her apart from being friends or more like strangers then he would have watched her sleeping the whole day without moving an inch. His finger prints were still slightly printed on her cheek. He felt a bit guilty for that. Pushing aside his thoughts he left for the washroom.

After a while Kriya woke up and found Rey talking over the phone.

"Yes ma. I promise I'll take good care of her." Saying this hung up. Once he turned around he found her staring at him.

"It was mom. She wanted to talk to you but I didn't know that you were awake. Anyways call her later when you're free." He informed her. His tone was casual. It seemed as though nothing happened between them. She frowned at him. Seeing her make a scowled expressed he sat beside her and spoke.

"Look Kriya, I'm sorry for the slap. I know I shouldn't have done that. I'm extremely sorry for that. I'm a crotchety person at times. I lose my patience very quickly and act impulsively at times."

She bit back her lower lip and spoke "I'm sorry too. I shouldn't have judged your love for Payal."

"Nah, it's fine. You were right at your place." She smiled at him contentedly. He hesitatingly inched forward puzzling her. Once he was close to her he pecked her cheek where his finger prints were embossed and left. She was astonished as to how to react. Fidgeting with her finger for a brief seconds she left for the washroom.

Starting was little bitter.. Their heated convo literally feared me! I thought it would take more time to get everything back to normal.. Thank God they didn't drag it much longer..
Aww morning part was so so cute..Rey was admiring d slepping angel..He gave a peck on her cheek!! Really?! :D :D
