Khushi's birthday falls sometime in August...So she is almost 15:)Still too young by today's standards but in 1920s, the life expectancy was in the 40s so early 30s was considered middle age and 15/16 a perfectly acceptable marriageable age:)

Thanks Jen for your reply... 🤗

I agree, 15 was quite a marriageable age those days... I know of some old ladies who had had babies by that age...

Hey Jenny read through all the chapters today. It's unbelievably good! Being a Bengali I have read stories of this period in Bengal. It's unbelievable that you have written everybody's emotions and feelings so well. You should consider publishing your works. I would happily buy them! Each of your stories are so unique! I feel every emotion that you write.

Khushi's struggles as she turns into a woman and the way Arnav looks at her changes as well. And now Pranab has started looking at Khushi in a new light. That is quite normal and human as well.

I love Thammi as well. She is so loving and reminds me of my own grandmother. 😊

The equation between Arnav's parents is sad but not very uncommon in that age. All in all, you have perfectly created the era. I can't wait to read on...
