Dear Diary,

It has been 6 months since Abhi left me. I didn't wanted to live in London, so I came back to India leaving La with NK. I couldn't stay in a place which had so many memories of him. It took me a lot of time to accept the fact the he left me. All those memories we spend together meant nothing to him. It hurts so much to know that he wanted someone else more than me. At first I felt hurt, then angry & finally dull. Today I'm going to meet Arnav Singh Raizada. He is my dad's best friend's son. My dad wants me to marry him. I tried to convince dad that I was not ready for marriage but he just didn't listen. I don't know much about him. Only know what my dad had told me & I heard from news. He is 24yrs old, 3yrs older than me. He was married before. His wife died 5 months ago in a car accident. I've heard that he is a playboy/womanizer. I can't live my entire life with a guy like him. That's it I will tell him about my past & ask him to say no to dad.

Khushi

2hrs later...

Khushi was sitting in a restaurant waiting for arnav.

Suddenly she heard a voice.

"Hiii Khushi"

Khushi turned & saw Arnav standing behind her.

"Hiii Arnav"

After a while...

Khushi tells Arnav about her past...

"I'm sorry Arnav but I'm not ready marriage...I need time to get over my past...I hope you understand...I tried to convince dad but he just didn't listen...Can u plzzz tell dad that you don't want to marry me...He won't listen to me but I'm sure he would listen to you plzzz." said Khushi

"Ok" Arnav replied

"Thank soo much Arnav"

"Np" Arnav whispered

hr later...

Arnav & Khushi came to GM (Gupta Mansion). Neither Arnav nor said a word after leaving the restaurant, but Arnav's sudden intake of breadth Khushi looked around. "whose car is that?" she asked

"Dr. Joshi"

Arnav & Khushi ran towards the house.

HP opened the door.

"What's wrong?" Arnav snapped

"Mr. Gupta" HP replied grimly. "He had heart attack. Dr. Joshi is with him."

"No" Khushi shouted, clutching Arnav's sleeve in a grip of terror.

Both ran upstairs while HP called. "Dr. Joshi asked me to inform him before you both enter the room."

Arnav was about to knock when Dr. Joshi came outside, closing the door behind him.

"How is he?" Arnav demanded tightly

"He had suffered a very grave setback Arnav."

"Can we meet him?" Arnav asked

"Yes but do or say anything that might upset him."

"Dad will be ok. Nothing will happen to him, Dr. Joshi" Khushi asked in broken voice.

"I can't promise you anything my dear" he told her, his expression were so grim that Khushi started shaking with terror.

Arnav & Khushi entered in Mr. Gupta's room. Khushi sat on one side of the bed & Arnav on the other. Mr. Gupta's hands were laying coverlet, Khushi wiped her tears, took her dad's hand & hold it tightly.

Mr. Gupta opened his eyes & focused on Khushi's face. "Princess" he whispered "Plzzz don't cry... I'm not dying. I want to see you settled first."

Tears raced down Khushi's cheeks. She has already lost her mother & she can't afford to lose him. She tried to speak but the lump of anguish & fear in her throat strangled her voice.

Mr. Gupta turned towards Arnav.

"I'm proud of you Arnav. I'm sorry that I couldn't fulfill the promise that I gave your mother that I'll take care of you & Anjali" Mr. Gupta whispered.

"Plzzz don't talk like this. You have done so much for me & di, no one in the world would have done. Plzz take rest" said Arnav.

Mr. Gupta looked at Khushi & then at Arnav.

"It was my dream that you & Khushi would wed"

"I'll take care of Khushi---I'll marry her" Arnav clarified.

Kushi looked at Arnav in shock.

Mr. Gupta turned towards Khushi."Will you marry him?"
