Both Arnav and Khushi are so hurt. Yet they both are thinking from different perspectives.

Khushi assumes her body to be a burden but Arnav believes that her body should be worshipped. She is the only one that he wants to be with regardless of all else. He does not care that they cant naturally have kids.

Loved this chapter A. I am enjoying the pace of this story, the way the events move. Its gripping to say the least.

Khushi Khushi Khushi - She is drowning further and further in guilt and taking on all she can. At this rate shell forgive Arnav even murder in future. Isnt she bordering on stubbornness now? And stubbornness alone cannot make a character. If she doesnt think beyond what she perceives to be incomplete, she will lose herself completely and will compromise on anything for Arnav, all because she will think she deserves to make it up to him for having put him through that pain. I want her to think and I want some reason and I want some spunk.

Arnav - I am absolutely in love with him. He is angry, as he should be. Disappointed, as he should be. Upset, as he should be. In Love with her with a longing that sears his soul.

But may I say that was a brilliant move on your part as a writer. He is attracted to her and what better way to show her how much he needs her, how much she needs him, how much they need each other. Love can be maifested verbally, emotionally and physically. Here the verbal and emotional have failed to make Khushi understand why she needs to be with Arnav and hence the physical comes to the rescue.

And you did complete justice to that scene...it was stunning.

When I had read the 5th chapter, I had felt that Khushi's share of tragedy was more poignant and painful than that of Arnav's in the entire turn of events which happened 11 years back. It might have broken Arnav as a man who had had a heart to beat - turning him into a cold ruthless machine but for Khushi- it broke her as a woman - as "being a woman" in the most fundamental way - as a bearer of a progeny - at least from her point of view. Her tragedy was bigger and her sorrows and feeling incompleteness had the effect of shutting down the doors to happiness forever. She is in a sense really a broken soul ... After all it is one thing to have loved and lost and carry the torch ... and entirely different thing to dismiss altogether one's natural and most basic need of " loving someone and getting loved by someone".
I'd wondered how you will deal with this aspect and you are dealing it in most wonderful way! Congratulations!!!
I can not think of any incident or any sentence or any word could have been written different way in all the chapters... You have built up their world so well -- the walls which Khushi has built around herself or the deep entreches which Arnav had dug up around himself so far. Very beautifully you have made Arnav to cross this chasms to reach to his Khushi. I am sure the next chapter will be very beautiful and this story will turn out to be the one of most passionate and unique love story that I have ever read.
