First things first M, here is a MASSIVE thank you for updating early and giving us a nice present on Eid! I was up at an ungodly hour of the night or rather morning and reading the update and slept with a big goofy grin on my face hence couldn't unreserve on time ;)
I think we have already established the fact that you weave magic whenever you write so let me get straight to the updae that started off light, got intense and ended again on a light note now can any chapter get any better! I think this chapter would have to be one of my Favourites in this whole FF!As soon as I finished the update the first thought that occupied my mind was the song Arnav might be thinking about haha and this song popped into my head immediately!:
I think everyone probably thought of this one but then my mind pictured quite a few other songs too I will save them later ;)
Now that I have got that out of my chest, I must tell you how much I love the very dramatic effect of that door opening, we were all hoping it was Khushi and when it actually happened I don't think I anticipated her entrance the way it happened. Her with her suitcase drenched in the rain leaving Arnav completely gobsmacked, almost as if he was imagining it in his dream. As we already knew his inner thoughts about wanting to whisk Khushi out of Ashima's place and with himself next thing he knows Viola destiny gives him exactly what he wished for. Khushi out of Ashima's place and at his door step.
Speaking of Khushi, may people may judge her but I still LOVE her. Sure she lashed out at Arnav with he high moral ground when dealing with her own guilt but she wasn't wrong there either at that point in time Arnav deserved that treatment she was giving him. Ok so he didn't deserve being played by Ashima but that wasn't Khushi's doing or her fault if anything she did try to not make his very first meeting happen. She simply couldn't tell him what Ashima was upto because of her own guilt and remorse, She did indulge Ashima's husband but like Ashima pointed out she was naive and easily fooled. The good thing is that she realized what was happening and went to Ashima with her truth. Ashima knew about her husband yet she let Khushi be used.
Ahhh Ashima the more I read about her the more I think maybe I have been too harsh on my assessment of her character. She is who she is and she makes no apologies for it. Khushi knew how she will be yet she was ready to work for her initially to gain experience, the rest is history. Having rambled on enough on here I guess I wanted to say that I understand Khushi because she rectified her mistake even when she didn't need to make herself Ashima's slave, Perhaps she did Not do everything to make up to Ashima but to be able to forgive herself because she was way more harsh on herself than anyone else could be! And somehow Swami actually saw this!
Speaking of Swami, he was just perfection in this chapter, the ever understanding, mature , sensible and perhaps the guy who is head over heels! I Loved the fact that he kept stopping himself from reacting or being harsh because he realized he was in no position to judge her, being who he is and what he was prepared to do just to score a project, made him stop. Not only that but the fact that she did not owe him any apologies for her PAST, yet here she was explaining everything! But alot of guys in this situation wouldn't have been as perfect as our Exceptional Asr. Most men would lash out and be the hypocrites that they are but not Swami. So Kudos for portraying him the way you did! We all fell for him here! LOVED all the jokes and little teasing remakes he came up with! I think the best one would have to be the song in his head while he stared the crap out of her! And then after that massive heart to hear for her to ask him about the song was just icing on the cake!
LOVED, LOVED, LOVED the chapter, I can't wait to see what tomorrow will bring for these two the promise of that talk and then there is also that song to consider!😆
PS. Yeh Dil Maange More ( then again you knew that already)
