Note/Clarifications:
1) I know I kinda mixed up the names at the end of the last update and so I wanna make it clear that KATE DIED and JENNA DID NOT.
2) I also know that most of you don't want me to kill anyone but the reason that I put random people like Kate, Jake and etc and not IPK people is so that I could kill. However, I can't tell you now if I'm gonna kill the rest or not.
Chapter 8
"I'M ASKING YOU SOMETHING!! WHY DID YO..." Kate's words were left incomplete as the glass frames that were hung on the wall flew off from the wall and went straight through her, slicing her.
"Ehh!!" Khushi and Jenna immediately turned their heads around, bititng in their sob. Arnav, NK and Malcom had shut their eyes tight as well, not being able to witness something so hideous.
"Towards the door" Malcom shouted as they all hastily re-entered the room before any of glass pieces could harm them.
Khushi quickly locked the door after everyone had entered. She leaned on the door and sighed. "She killed...Kate" Khushi quietly said, looking down with tears forming in her eyes. Everyone looked at her with a glum expression on their faces. Arnav walked forward and embraced her in a comforting hug to console her. He fitted his head beside her neck. NK roamed around the room with his fingers on his face and his face in a thoughtful expression while Jenna and Malcom were busy comforting each other too.
"Look guys, I know it might be impossible but we have to try to get out of this house" Jenna started as she broke away from the hug and took a seat on the wooden floor.
"Jenna's right. We have to think of something" Arnav loosened his arms around Khushi and she stepped out of the hug. Arnav took Khushi's hand and moved towards Jenna and sat opposite her. NK and Malcom joined them, forming a little circle.
"Soo, anieeone (anyone) goot (got) an idea?!" NK questioned as his brain came up with nothing even after a lot of thinking.
Khushi turned to look at Arnav who seemed to have a thoughtful expression, she raised her eyesbrows at him. Arnav bit his lips looking as if he wasn't very sure of his plan.p but eventually spoke up.
"I have a plan" Arnav started to narrate his plan to the other four.
"But that could be very risky" Malcom said as Arnav finished with his plan.
"I know but that's the only way out. If we can execute the plan properly then we might have a chance of excaping and plus, taking a risk is better cuz if we stay here, sooner or later, we're gonna die anyway"
"I think he's right. The plan doesn't seem that bad. It might just work if we are careful" Khushi spoke out her thoughts.
"Hmmm, yeah...I think this might lead us outta here" Jenna replied thoughtfully, still processing the plan in her mind.
"Come oon guys, we gootta try" NK cheered them on though dreading at the thought of actually executing it.
"Yeah" Arnav said getting off the floor and helping Khushi up too. Arnav waited as the rest got up as well.
"So NK, where do you think the body is?" Arnav questioned, holding Khushi's hand in a safe grip.
"Ummm...I dunno! In thee first oor seecond room oor the attic" NK gulped as he imagined what they were looking for.
"Those are the forbidden places in the house, right?" Jenna interrupted Arnav's thought process.
"I think we should split up and look in all the rooms. The sooner we find it, the sooner we can get out" Malcom suggested.
"I don't think we should split up. It can get dangerous" Khushi raised the objection against the idea.
"Khushi, don't worry. We'll all be fine. I'll be with you" Arnav turned towards Khushi and softly spoke while gripping her hand tight and squeezing it reassuringly.
"Fine then, me and Jenna will go to the first room, Arnav, you and Khushi go to the last one and NK can go to the attic" Malcom distributed the rooms.
"Nooo, noo way...I'm noot going oop (up) alone!!" NK objected, freaked out at the idea of entering the ghastly attic, all by himself.
"Fine then, you can join Malcom and Jenna" Arnav said finally and started moving out of the room with Khushi by his side and the rest went into the opposite direction.

"Arnav!! This door is locked!!" Malcom shouted from one end of the corridor as he tried to push the door open but it just wouldn't budge.
"This one's locked as well!!!" Arnav said as he stared at the heavy metal chain tied around the door handle with a big rusted lock on it.
"But I think, these locks are queit old so let's just break them open!!" Arnav suggested as he walked up to the handle holder and grabbed it. Malcom did the same at the other side of the corridor. Both hit the lock a few times before it opened, Arnav carefully unwrapped the metal chain before creaking the door open.
*creeakk*
As soon as the door opened, Arnav and Khushi burst into caughing. The air of the room was thick with dust, even the floor was plastered with multiple layers of dirt and dust. It seemed like no one had cleaned, forget clean, even opened it in ages.
Arnav waved his free hand infront of him to brush away the dust from his face while Khushi kept a hand on her mouth and squeezed her eyes to get a clear view of the room. There was old, broken furniture in the room. A broken bunk bed at the side, a side table covered in some brown gooyee stuff and the corners of the room were covered with cobwebs.
"This room looks more like a boy's room, I don't think we are gonna find anything here" Khushi spoke up as her gaze went around the room. Her mind drifted back to Arnav's plan.

Flashback
"I have a plan" Everyone gave Arnav their full attention as he started. "Maybe, it might just work. Look, in the sheet it read that she kills everyone that enter this property thinking that they are here to get her treasure..right? But if we by any chance can...get her body and reunite it with the treasure, we might be able to signal to her that we don't want her treasure and it just belongs to her and she might just let us go. We'll have to find her body and the treasure which is somewhere in a hidden basement, which is actually the basement so that might not be very hard to find. I know, its very risky but if we do it carefully and properly, it can work" Arnav finished as he looked around at the horrified faces of everyone staring at him.
Flashback End

"GUYS!! THERE'S NOTHING IN THIS ROOM!!! Arnav and Khushi heard Malcom shouting. They stepped out of the room as well after not finding anything.
"SAME!!" Replied Arnav
"Guess we just have the attic left to search" All gulped as they looked up at the metal stairs leading to the attic.

hehe...I might be ending dis FF in another chappy or two BUT...derez a BUT...I'll be starting another horror story...I've already planned out da story so tell me if interested...umma PM u all about it as soon as I start...if u don't want da PM den do tell...umma not bug u den...hehe
