Making Khushi Mine has such a territorial tone to it. Arnav till now has been sorting out his feelings towards his father, towards a unit called family, towards a girl he first considered as a contender for his father's attention and affection. He is slowly developing emotionally in the past few chapters ... which almost reminds me of early season of Kyle XY Series, the way Kyle use to narrate his experiences with other human beings and what knowledge has he gained from it.
Till now Arnav is mostly Dormant Character in this series. He has just realised that he wants something more from this girl. We have loved Arnav from IPK for he was the most paradoxical character with equal parts of being strong and at the same time being vulnerable. He had his sister Anjali who was his conscience and guiding light when it came to dealing with emotions. There was a slim hope out there. MKM - 2 Arnav has been manipulated beyond belief from his early childhood. Over the years he has given up on the hope, that someone will love him for who he is rather than what he stands for the Raizada Heir, the ATM for his mother to support her lifestyle. He has also crossed the boundary with his history of substance abuse. Now he has found someone who will not benefit in any way with her association with him.
Here, Khushi has not been exposed to elements the way Arnav has been. She has lost her parents but she has found love and solace in Arnav's Father, bauji and Karan's uncle care. Then there is also her limp to consider, despite the fact that she has not given in to self pity, time and again people and circumstances has undermined her confidence in herself. Now we have come to the most crucial part of the series -
1] Arnav has always known and seen what Khushi has portrayed, but he does not know of her. He does not know what makes his tick. He knows of her past but has no idea how has it shaped this woman. Khushi has knowingly or unknowingly kept people at armlength preventing them from looking to deep. That has been her own domain till now.
2] Rishabh has known Khushi as a friend but he is getting to know her as a woman. Rishabh is perceptive enough but does he really knows what goes on in her mind? He was her past crush, she has been shown to make peace with her past as expects nothing more than friendship from him.
3] The confrontation is library is crucial for the deadlock in which Arnav and Khushi's relationship resides. I do not know what will offset the trigger, will it affirm Arnav's belief that he means something to Khushi, that his presence is important for her as a friend atleast or will it be Arnav's outburst that will awaken Khushi from her slumber.
4] ASR has always been a manipulator, so given enough incentive it will be great to see the master of the game at work..
Can't wait for the update...
