Chapter-2

The rain was beating heavily against the double hazed windows n wind was howling in the sky..it was 3 at noon n there was still no sun in sight..

Kriya shivered and picked up her cofee. Rey would be at home soon.. she had wanted to talk to him about the last night incident and wanted to ask him about rohan..bt rey had left in the early morning itself without saying a single word bt had got a message from him dat he would be back soon..

She sipped her coffee n cuddled herself.. it was very cold in this mid june..she looked out of the window "where could have rey gone in this early morning'I hope he was okk"she thought..she placed the empty cup on the table and snuggled herself on the sofa n closed her eyes.

He stretched his arms n rubbed his eyes. He had come out for a quick drive. The lastnight dreams were seriously depiving him of his sleep.it was all same. Rey walking on the road n rohan would be in a car.. rohan waved his hands at rey.. n rey too raised his hand.. suddenly a truck came n smashed into rohan's car.. rey ran to him.bt rohan's feet is not moving and he tried to speak bt couldn't.. den suddenly rey would woke up in sweat like the last day..

But last night kriya had awake,usually she would be sleeping peacefully..he would just get up and have a glass of water.. n den go to sleep bt this time he had taken comfort in her arms.. when he woke up,they were so closed each other.. in a way he liked it bt a part of him wanted to stay away from there because she is his brother's love.

Kriya was still sleeping when rey got home,he looked at her n found her shivering..so he went upstairs n came back with a blanket and carefully covered her..then tucked the hands of hair behind her hair n his hands moved along her cheeks..and leaned forward and kissed her forehead bt he didn't move back straight,his eyes fell on her lips n he slightly move forward but jerked back and shook her head and turned to leave..

He took the key from his pocket and slide it in the key hole and turned the key..the door opened,he entered into the room..he rarely entered into rohan's room after rohan's death..it is because of kriya..but he used to come to this room when he feel lonely.. He sat on the room and looked around..the old memories with rohan came to his mind..his eyes wandered around the room..his eyes getting moisted and he turned to leave that's when his eyes fell on the pictures of him and rohan..he moved towards the pictur and took it in his hands..it was covered with dust,he just removed the dust..the photo had been taken on rohan's b'day..his fingers ran through rohans picture and a smile crept on his face..but the smile turned into frown as he heard kriya calling him from downstairs..he quickly hung the picture back n come out from the room and locked it..

He came downstairs..As she saw him she ran to him and hugged'he hesitated first but later braught his arms and hugged her back.

"where were u?? you left home this early.."she said with tension clearly visible on her face..

"kriya, I just went for a ride..u were sleeping so I thought not to disturb you, don't worry babes"

Kriya smiled and hugged him again n held his hands

"Rey, I wanna ask you something"

"don't ask me permission..go ahead"

"rey, who is rohan?"

Rey knew this would come once..this is expected afterall what happened last day..but he can't tell her anything now..

He turned to face her.. " I don't know any rohan", he simply said it..

"No rey.. last night u were mumbling his name.. so it means you know him"

Rey walked past her and went upstairs and went to their room but kriya followed him and stoped him

"kriya I said I don't know any rohan..you must be mistaken"

"no I'm not mistaken, rey please tell me who is rohan?"

Rey had enough, he grab her by shoulders and shook her

"damn it kriya..i said don't know..now pls stop asking"he yelled at her

This is the first time she saw him in this anger...

Then he shoved her away and sat on a chair and took a deep breath..

Kriya held her tears and knelt down infront of him

"I...i..am sorry rey..i just,,I'm sorry" she didn't get any words to say.. she really became scared..

Whether it was because of the guilt or he felt it is needed to..he cupped her face and captured her lips..she also responded to it.. soon it turned into a passionate kiss..he braught her into his lap..then he travelled to her neck and while kissing he felt the coldness of the necklace and he looked at it..and so the 'Ak' named pendant.. soon realisation struck him and he pulled himself away.. kriya puts her arms around his neck and hugged him..he looked himself at the mirror and felt ashamed of what he has just done..

"i.. I will be right back" he moved from there.. she smiled at herself

Rey had been standing under the showe for a long time..to cool himself off..he just want to get rid off the fact that he had just kissed kriya..now he is ashamed of himself..he just don't know why he did it?.. kriya was not at fault..she didn't know anything..she was in an illusion that they loved each other...bt he could have controlled himself..he knew everything..everything better..

"Rey"

Kriya knocked at the door for the third time but there was no response.. so she turned to leave but before that he opened the door..he was shirtless so it is hard for her to look at him.. she tried not to look at his perfect body and stared at his face..

He closed the washroom door and headed to the cupboard and took a shirt from there and wore it..

"kriya, I will be back"

"but you went out earlier..i will be alone here rey"

"just an half an hour..please"

She nodded and smiled at him..by giving her a side hug he left from there..

After sometimes, rey sood infront of meera's doorstep n he rung the bell.. Arjun came and opened the door.. Rey rolled his eyes and cleared his throat.

"Is meera in?" Arjun simply nodded and called out meera..he left from there

"What did he think of himself, didn't have the manner to greet a guest in the house..jerk.."rey thought in his mind..as meera came downstairs..

"Rey..how's u? what had braugh..." before she could complete he drag her to her room..

Meera's smile disappeared..she looked at the half closed door behind her..

"Rey.. are you insane.. I am a married woman and have a kid too"

He gritted his teeth an pushed her against the door..and trapped her with his arms on either side..and came close to her..she placed her hand on his chest and push him hard n stop him from coming closer..

He opened his eyes and saw the frightened look in her eyes..

"I..I am sorry.."

She turned to leave when he held her hands.." pls..i wanna talk to you.."

"At the caf within 15 mins"he added..

Before she could argue he left from there

He had arrived 5 mins ago but still no sign of meera.. his cell cell beeped and kriya's message was there.

" it has been an hour.. where are you"he quickly replied that he would be at home soon..he again glanced upon the door but meera was no where in sight..if she wanted to meet him.. she would have been there by now.. but she had other priorities now than him..he turned to leave but spotted meera's car at the parking lot..

She came to him an seated there.. "Now tell me, what was so urgent that u want to see me??"

"it s tha't.. i.. I kissed kriya"

" Rey.. are you trying to make me fool.. its common for you both..you kiss her all time.. this silly thing you want to say me..rey you are wasting my time"

" No meera.. this is not like that.. its different.."

He noticed meera looking intrigued

" the way I used to kiss you"meera flinched and looked at him

" it doesn't matter anything"

" don't lie meera.." he said as he held her hands..

"I don't care anything whatever we had in the past,,its all over" she removed her hands from his grip and left from there..

Rey paid the bill and followed her..but by the time he reached the parking lot..she was already gone..he also entered into his car and drove back to home.
