The Meeting

Chapter 8

For ASR the next whole day (Saturday) went in a jiffy, he was extremely busy the whole day with some commercial shoots early morning , followed by a meeting with SM Enterprises regarding collaboration with AR industries on some project, Music launch function & later its late night party. The whole day brought creases on his forehead not because it was hectic but because he was tensed!!!! & he was tensed coz he could not get her out of his mind, however busy he got himself, however hard he tried his thoughts were only cocooned around that one person he hated or did he ???

He was having very conflicting feelings, he wanted to harm her but didnt wanted to at the same time.

He could have gotten her killed or kidnapped or tortured or beaten or assaulted with just a flick of his fingers, he could have destroyed her career, her reputation with a mere call!!!!,

any body in her place would have met with one of these ends up till now, but then why he could not bring himself to punish her like that???

For the first time in his life he wanted to forgive, he wanted to play fair!!!, After the whole day pondering abt it, he was sure of one fact though that she had affected him!!!!!. May be he was attracted to her or may he was somewhere impressed by her guts, in his life of 31 yrs it was for the first time somebody stood unfaltering before him meeting his eyes .

He wanted to bend her but not break her, since yesterday he had thought about many ways to bring her down, but couldn't act because his up till now sleeping conscience somewhere pinched him.

As the time was passing by his anger was vanishing and unknown feeling was taking its place,

He wanted to see her, meet her again!!!! God knows what was wrong with him but he couldn't get himself out of this crave.

Even booze couldn't bring him out of this reverie of thoughts. He knew he had to see her somehow, but how could he see her at 1 o'clock in night, Shit man!!!! He was desperate, he didnt knew why????

Laptop!!!!

Yes the laptop!!

ASR literally pounced on his laptop booted it & connected it the projector. Opened the folder containing photos of Khushi that he downloaded from net yesterday.

He lied down on his bed watching the slide show of photos, an unknown peace blanketed his heart. A rare sweet smile played on his lips And a peaceful sleep engulfed him.

And this is how Aman found ASR in the morning, his jaw dropped to the ground in surprise when he entered ASR's room. ASR was sleeping like a baby smiling...huh what smiling ???where was his evil smirk or that grumpy frown????

And whats with this slide show...of ...Khushi Gupta????

Has his chief gone nuts'probably that Gupta lawyer has infuriated him insane...Yes this is the only cause he can think of !!!!

Sir...Sir... Aman tried to wake him up

What The....ASR opened his eyes slightly disoriented

Soon his gaze fell on the picture of Khushi on the screen. He quickly sprang to his feet & switched off the projector. And blasted on Aman

Can't you knock before u enter my room , Aman.

Sir...i never knocked before...so thought there was no need this time as well...

Out!!!! Aman, Get out!!!!

Yeesss'.

Aman knew something for sure is fishy, ASR had behaved strangely, though he blasted at him, his eyes betrayed him they were nervously moving like a child caught with his hand in a candy jar.

Later in the morning ASR received a call from Stark detective services conveying that they needed more time to dig in all information abt Khushi, as she is more of a private person, And her acquaintances didn't know much about her personal life.

ASR desperately wanted to know her more, but also knew that detectives needed their time.

Ok...but I want all the information you have gathered up till now by tomorrow. One more thing message me her address & phone no.

Heart-But u know u r craving to hear her voice?? Keep ur ego aside for a minute ASR, and just call her!!!

Well...Mr. Blankcaller, you seem to be quite free this morning but believe me im a little busy, and in a hurry too, so let me tell u before I hang up that as per the study conducted by Columbia university on calling behaviors of people, they categorized callers in 3 categories, First the people who call & then talk, they r are usually intelligent, outgoing, friendly, and motivated, Secondly people who give miss calls and hang up before the call can be picked, they r miser, scrooge, stingy & lack confidence and finally the people who call but do not TALK are usually dark, depressed cynical and sometimes psychotic.So from what I get u belong either to the 3^rd category or u r dumb.

If u r dumb get somebody to speak for u coz im not a mind reader, and if u belong to 3^rd category, u should be calling a psychiatrist right now not me!!!So, good day & get well soon!!

ASR was amazed, God this girl!!!

ASR began laughing out loud,

She is so different, any other girl in her place wouldn't have picked the call third time or would have kept the receiver engaged or even if had picked up would have muttered certain profanities like-you dog, bas***d, a**hole ,f**ker, bloody bankcaller,dare u call me again and I will inform the police, and blah blah blah.

But she, she's unique she briefed me on research conducted by Columbia university on calling behaviors of people!!!!!

Though she was right about one thing I definitely needed to consult a psychiatrist, this girl is doing weird things to me!!

controlling his laughter ASR lied down on his bed, closing his eyes ASR whispered slowly Khushi...
