Shyam smirked as khushi looked at him. He was in his own thoughts

Shyam: Don't worry khushi ji soon you'll be mine and then we can live our own life far away from here. And this time I'll make sure Arnav does'nt come in between us! (He thought with an evil smile)

Khushi was taken back home after an hour and everyone at the Raizada Mansion were roaming around her making her laugh,cheer and eat. The Guptas had also arrived by then and everyone was seated in the living room

Bua ji: Hai re nand kishore! If only arnav babua was here, i would have kissed him and hugged him. Finally I'm going to be a grand bua of my khushi's child.

Anjali: Yes bua ji we all wish he was here but this chote, has to go only when he is needed

Akash: don't worry di bhai will come back soon

Khushi went and kneeled down to her babuji's level and looked into his eyes, He tried to lift his hand and khushi bowed down her head and babuji blessed her. khushi hugged him and cried silently.

Since morning Akash had tried to call Arnav but his phone was not reachable.

Khushi went to her room to take some rest. She was lying on her bed when her phone rang. She picked it up

Person: Mam may i speak to Mr.Arnav singh Raizada?

Khushi: He is not here, He went to London yesterday night.

Person: But Mam I've called at London office but Sir is not there, He did'nt even boarded the flight yesterday night and his phone is also unreachable.

Khushi who was by now shocked and scared could only manage to say

Khushi: Did you check properly, because he went in when i was at the airport with him and also if he has missed his flight he would have been back by now.

Person: Yes mam I've called at the airport and checked.

Khushi: Ok! I'll check and inform you.

Person: Ok mam.thank you

Khushi hung up and stood straight. The broken photo frame was revolving around her head. Arnav's pic,his words, his face and the fear of losing him was gripping onto her heart. She stood up with a heavy heart and walked outside.

In the hall:

Akash had called the London officee and checked. He had called Arnav's personal secretery and his bodyguards who were to pick him up at the London airport but he got the same answer from everywhere. Arnav had'nt boarded the plane and he was nowhere to be found. Akash had visited the airport to confirm and a security person there told him that Arnav at the last moment was returning back towards the exit door when a man said something to him and Arnav went with that man and did'nt return. Akash by now was sure that his brother was in some sort of trouble. But he did'nt wanted to tell anyone at home as it will worry them. When he came back he was very depressed

Payal: what's wrong akash? Why are you so depressed?

Akash: Nothing payal just work burden

Payal: No i know when you are overloaded with work and when you are not. Will you not share your worries with me? Then with whom else will you sure?

Akash thought for sometime and then finally told her

Akash: Payal, Bhai is missing. He never boarded the flight last night and I've checked everywhere where it was concerned about him but no one knows about his whereabouts.

Payal was shocked and by now in tears

Payal: How can this be possible akash? Have you checked everywhere? how will we tell khushi about this? she won't be able to take it!

Akash: I don't know payal. I've checked almost everywhere and I'm going again to check and report to the police but for now I think we should'nt tell di or khushi ji about this. I'll talk to jija ji and papa about this.

Payal: Ok I'll try my best to keep khushi unaware of this news.

Akash just nodded and walked out of the house once again.

Khushi had heard all this and she could'nt handle it she ran into her room banging the door behind her and fell to the floor crying uncontrolably. Tiny screams were echoeing around the room.

Arnav:

After the hit on the head Arnav was lifted up by 2 men and was taken to a very dark place outskirts the city. When he woke up he found himself tied to a chair and a cloth was stuffed into his mouth. He could'nt feel his body. He tried hard to look around but it was too dark. After an hour of struggle he was able to see his surroundings. All the flashbacks came running back to him. Khushi trying to stop him. Khushi running behind him, Holding his hand, her teary eyes, the pain everything was coming back.

He tried to move but he could not. Suddenly a small door opened into the room and a man with the ugliest smile appeared and he switched on the light and turned.

Shyam was smiling wickedly.

Arnav's eyes wide open and his fists were clenched.

Shyam: Welcome Saal e sahab! I hope you don't have any problem staying here,right?

Arnav was struggling hard to get his hands free but to no avail.

Shyam came near very near and bent on Arnav and then he let out a maniacal laugh making arnav go on the edge of his anger. Shyam moved back laughing and suddenly stopped

Shyam: I told you not to interfere in my and khushi ji's matter but of course you are Arnav Singh Raizada who would never listen to anyone right? not until he loses something precious. You must have done the same when you lost your parents and you have no idea that what you are going to lose this time! You did not bother to listen to khushi ji and this will help me get her!

Shyam's last sentence shook arnav's soul out of him. He could'nt blink or think. Only khushi was in his head. His heartbeat increased

"What khushi said was correct?"

"Was Shyam her ex-fiance?"

Shyam again came towards him and held his head and pulled him and looked deep into his eyes with rage.

Shyam: Yes! Khushi ji was telling you the truth. I was successful in getting engaged to her but this your di ! She always has a problem with me not being around. If only that day khushi ji have'nt seen me on the terrace on the day of havan. Only because of your di I was in shantivan that day and khushi ji saw me on the terrace. Everything was going smooth but your di can never see me happy with my life,right?!?!

Shyam pushed arnav so hard that the chair fell back. He again picked up the chair and laughed like a maniac.

Shyam: But this time i will not lose khushi ji.

Saying this Shyam walked out leaving a shocked and hurt arnav alone tied to the chair. A stream of tears started to flow from arnav's eyes. He wanted to scream ans shout and let all the pain out. He wanted to run and hug khushi, His Khushi who had loved him and only him all this time, who had tried to tell him the truth but alas! He mistrusted her, He pulled her in the queue of the gold diggers when she never was one of them! He was afraid that he may lose someone special,someone he loves the most again! Like he had lost his parents years before!

Raizada Mansion:

Khushi cried her heart out. The pain was unbearable. Tears were flowing like a waterfall.

She could'nt believe that her Arnav ji could be missing, That her Arnav ji could be hurt in anyway.

She layed there on the floor crying and crying and praying to her Devi Maiya for help,to keep her Arnav ji safe, to give her strength to find her Arnav ji.

"Where is Arnav ji?" only one question was in her mind and heart. She wanted to run and hug him to never let go,To tell him that she loves him and only him!

She layed there on the floor thinking where could he be? how would she find out? suddenly a name striked her mind.

"Aman Ji". Aman was Arnav's personal secretery and he knows everything about Arnav's schedule etc.

Finally she stood up and picked her phone and dialed a number from arnav's diary.

Person: Hello Aman here.

Khushi answered with a broken voice hardly coming out of her throat

Khushi: Hello Aman ji, I'm Arnav ji's wife Khushi

Aman: Yes mam how can i help you?

Khushi: I want you to check if Arnav ji has reached London or no

Aman: No mam sir is not in London, He did'nt boarded the flight yesterday and I had informed Akash sir in the morning.

Khushi: Yes I know but Akash ji did not tell me that arnav ji is missing. I overheard his conversation with my jiji. Aman ji do you have any idea where could arnav ji have gone if he is not in London?

Aman: No mam I m so sorry but i have no idea as Sir did'nt inform me about anything other than his meeting in London and than he was supposed to be back next week.

Khushi: Aman ji I think he is missing and there is someone behind this. Can you help me with this matter please? I have no one else to ask for help and i don't want to trouble anyone at home as they are already worried about my health.

Aman: Yes mam, I will help you as much as i can. what you want me to do for you?

Khushi: I'll come to office tomorrow and we will discuss this there but till then please try to find out if Arnav ji had any other meeting scheduled else than in London.

Aman: Ok! so I'll see you tomorrow mam.

Khushi: Yes! see you tomorrow and thank you

Aman: My pleasure mam. Good night

Khushi: Good night

Khushi hung up and looked at Arnav's pic in her hand and brought it closer to her heart

Khushi: Where are you arnav ji? Why did you leave me?

after sometime she looked at the pic again and wiped her tears away

Khushi: I will not let anything happen to you! I will make sure that you are safe and back home once i get to know where you are!

She spent the whole night praying to her devi maiya and thinking about how to get her Arnav ji back and who could be the culprit behing all this!

Akash had gone to the police station and told them everything about his missing brother! They were also shocked to here that the Great Business tycoon Arnav Singh Raizada is missing! How could that be! Akash had ordered them strictly not to let this news break to the media as he did'nt want a fuss of the news of his missing brother not until he finds out where he was!

Payal was trying really hard to keep khushi happy but some where she was doubtful that khushi knew about Arnav. Anjali had asked a hundred times about her chote's calls or msg and Akash would everytime tell her that he must be busy.

Arnav:

Arnav was cursing himself for not trusting khushi when he knew that she was not the type of girl he had thought of her. All the memories with her from the beginning when she first fell into his arms till the last when she held his hand and he cruelly pulled it back at the airport before he entered the airport were coming back. Now he finally knew that everything that had been going on with him and his family was all shyam's doings! He was angry at himself for trusting such a disgusting person for his di!

He would kill this idiot once he is out of here!

"Khushi you'll have to be strong,Please be brave and stay strong until i get back to clear this poisoning root from the garden of your dreams,please khushi be strong" He was silently wishing in his heart with teary eyes.

Next Morning:

Khushi woke up and stood straight she had been dreaming of her Arnav. Suddenly the memories of last night came back rushing. She had to meet Aman today and she had to find out where her Arnav ji was.

"I have to hurry up" with the thought she went to the bathroom and got changed and walked down.

Everyone looked normal except for her jiji and Akash jijaji and of course Evil Shyam!

He seemed more comfortable and more happy then everyone else. Payal had also sensed his unusual happiness and the same question was rising in her mind

"Could he be the one behing Arnav ji's disappearance?"

Khushi silently ate her food and asked Akash if she could go to the office with him today.

Anjali: No khushi ji you need rest for yourself and for the little one yet to come.

Shyam was fuming with anger on the thought that khushi was carrying arnav's child! Khushi had sensed his tension

Khushi: No Anjali ji i'm totally fine and besides I get really bored at home lying on the same bed in the same room. I think if i go the office i can atleast watch people moving from Arnav ji's cabin and I'll not get bored also.

Anjali: But khushi ji it's better if you taka rest at home only

Khushi: please na di i promise i'll not move around alot and i'll just sit there in one place and have juices and I'll be back for lunch.

Anjali: Ok if you are so interested to go then i have no objection but Akash make sure she does'nt move around ans she stays in chote's office only ok?

Akash: Okay di i'll see to it .

And khushi leaves the house with Akash.

They reach the AR Design office.

Akash: Khushi ji you go and sit in Bhai's office. I'll see what is going on around and if you need anything just give me a call and I'll be there, Ok?

Khushi: Yes ok Jija ji don;t worry about me I'll be fine.

With this she tries to give akash just a faint smile wand walks towards Arnav's cabin. As she enters her eyes stop on Arnav's chair all the memories of her with him in this cabin come back to her welling up her eyes. A knock on the door brings her back and she wipes her tears and says

Khushi: Come in
