''Mumbai... Sapno ki nagri... Yahaan bohut saare log aate hai apni zindagi banane... Kuch log safal hote hai,kuch log nahi... Kuch logo ko yahaan apna zindagi ka sabse anmol cheez milta hai,kuch logo ko nahi... Kuch logo ko vishwas chahiye hota hai,aur badle mein milta hai vishwaghat aur kuch toote bikhre rishte... Aaj pure 3 saal baad laut rahi hu Mumbai mein jahaan pe maine bohut kuch anmol cheezein khoye hai,bohut kuch paya bhi hai... Iss shehar se meri bohut saari yaadein juri hui hai... Meri police training,mere unse milna,unse bicharna,sab kuch yaad hai.Yaad hai woh din jisdin meri sabse anmol cheez toota thha yahaan pe... Mera vishwas... Mera vishwas ke aayne ki haazaro tukre hogaye thhe... Jo bhi ho,aaj main yahaan,iss shehar mein isiliye aayi hu kyunki,yahaan mere parivaar rehte hai... Mere Dada,Boudi,Mashimaa,Mamashree,Dida aur meri jaan,Mini,mere Dada ki pyaari si beti... Mere parivaar ki khushi keliye aana parha mujhe... Aakhir kar,ACP Riya Mukherjee ko apni parivaar ke khushi ke aage jhukna parha...''
Riya wrote these lines,soon after she landed in Mumbai with her team.Her Dada sent two special SUVs' for her and her team.
As Riya was lost in her own thoughts,she didnt realize that when did she reach the Bannerjee House.Subroto clicked fingers infront of Riya's eyes and brought her out of her world...
''Riya,kahaan khoyi hui ho?'' Subroto asked.
''Kuch nahi... Hum kahaan hai?'' Riya asked Subroto.
''Hum ghar pohuch gaye hai aur ghar ke samne khare hai.Sab log ghar ke darwaaze pe tumhari andar aane ki raah dekh rahe hai.Aur,for your kind information,hum log 2 and a 1/2 hours pehle Mumbai pohuch gaye thhe... Abhi abhi ghar pohuche hai... Chalo aao...'' Subroto cleared her thoughts.
''Oh accha... Chalo.. Sorry yaar... Mujhe pata nahi chala...'' Riya shrugged off old thoughts.
''Its ok,Riya... Hota hai aisa... Bohut saalo baad aayi ho na...Bohut kuch yaad agayi hogi,isiliye... Beeti baato ko bhuljao aur aage barho...'' Subroto told Riya..
''Hmm... Thanks,yaar... Bohut kuch badal gaya hai yahaan pe...'' Riya told.
As she got down the car and stepped outside,the coll Mumbai breeze made her feel light to an extent.
She went towards the doorsteps where her whole family was waiting for her.Everybody were so happy to see her after 3 long years.
Mashima did everybody's Aarti.After the Aarti,Riya touched her elders' feet and took their blessings.She went to her Dida and hugged her tightly and cried her heart out... Dida also cried with her.It was a emotional moment for everyone because Dida is seeing her Chutki Roshgulla after 3 long years.Dida broke the hug and wiped her tears and pecked her forehead.She then went to her Mashimaa and Mamashree and hugged them both and cried.They also blessed her and were really happy to see their ''bacchi'' after 3 long years.Then,she went to her Dada and Boudi.She ran into her Dada's arms' and cried a lot.She hugged him tightly.Rohit's eyes' also had tears.This brought tears in everybody's eyes.Rohit broke the hug and pecked her forehead.
''Kaisi hai meri Babu?'' Rohit asked.
''Aap sabse milke bohut khush hu.Aisa lagta hai ki maine apni zindagi ko bohut arse baad dekhrahi hu.I really missed you all,a lot..'' Riya said,teary-eyed.
She moved to her Boudi and hugged her sideways.She had a casual yet the sweet talk with her Boudi.As the nanad-bhabi were having a chat,as if they were long lost friends,Sara,Ashwin,Subroto,Shubh and Rudra met their mentor,Rohit.Everybody hugged him and expressed their happiness...
After all the pleasantries were exchanged,everybody came inside.The servants were allowed to take their luggages into their respective rooms.
''Dada.. Mini kahaan hai?'' Riya asked.
Suddenly,from Riya's back,an excited yet a happy voice came and it echoed in the whole house.
Everybody turned to the direction of that voice.Riya was really happy to see her.
''Pishi Angel... Meri Pishi Angel..'' Mini squealed in excitement...
Mini ran to her Pishi Angel,as her two ponytails were dangling and were moving sideways,as she went to her Pishi Angel,running.
Riya slumped down and hugged her princess tightly.Mini also hugged her tightly.Riya was feeling so happy.Tears fell from her eyes.
Mini broke the hug and saw her Pishi Angel crying.She frowned and wiped her tears.
''Pishi Angel,mat ro.Kaisi ho aap?Aapko bohut dino baad dekhrahi hu.Aap mujhe phirse chhorke chali toh nahi jaogi? Aapko bohut saari cheezein dikhani hai.Jante ho,aapko mere friends' se bhi milwana hai.Bohut baatein karni hai..'' Mini bombarded her set of questions to Riya...
Riya smiled at that innocent soul and took her in her lap.
''Mini darling,aap school se aayi ho.So,pehle aap fresh hojao,nahalo aur phir Mini aur Pishi Angel bohut saari baatein karenge,thik hai. Aapko meri team se milna hai,Mini?'' Riya told her.
''Haan,Pishi Angel..''
Riya,then introduced her team to Mini.All of them loved Mini a lot.
After all the intro,Mashimaa told them to freshen up...
