** Jammu Tawi railway station 12:15 pm**
Arnav: The train will arrive on which platform,buaji?
Buaji: I dont know,babua. Lets ask at the ticket counter..
Arnav: U'll stay here. I'll go & ask. What's the name of the train?
Buaji: I forgot its name! Aye Sanka devi,look at the ticket & tell him the name of r train.
Khushi: I remember the name,buaji. Its called Jammu Rourkela express.
Arnav stares at her angrily for a few seconds before walking over to the enquiry counter.
Khushi(thinks): Y did Arnavji stare at me lyk that?
Arnav came back a few minutes later looking even more angry.
Khushi: What happened?
Arnav: Train will arrive on platform no. 1,at 2:30!
Khushi(shocked): What?
Buaji: But the ticket says it arrives at 12:30,Nandkisore.
Arnav: Buaji, plz gimme the ticket. I'll enquire once again.
Khushi:I'll come with u..
Arnav: Its okay. Its better if I go alone.
He leaves before she could protest.
Khushi: Amma,I'll b back in a moment.
Amma: Go carefully,bitiya.
Buaji: What shall we do if the train arrives at 2:30?
Babuji: There must a waiting room over here,didi. We'll sit over there till it arrives.
Buaji: What about lunch,babua? Manoj babua told me that there's a pantry car in this train thats y I didnt bring anything from the hotel. The dry snacks which Anjali bitiya had sent hav also got over.
Babuji: Dont worry didi. There has to b a foodstall or some other thing over here. I'll go & check..
Amma: Plz wait till Arnav bitwa & Khusi come back. What if the train is at 12:30?
Babuji: It doesnt seem like that. Had the train been at 12:30 there would hav been an annoucement about it. Anyways,I'll wait till they come back. _______________________________________________________________
Man(points to a room): U'll find the station master over there. U can ask him about it.
Arnav: Thanks!
The station master tells them that the train time has been rescheduled to 2:30.
SM: Earlier the train was scheduled at 12:30. But now,according to the new time table,it has been rescheduled to 2:30. I think its a printing error. The number 1 has got printed by error on ur ticket.
Arnav nods.
SM: I apologize for the inconvinience!
Arnav: I wanted to talk to u about the ticket. My family is travelling in the 3 tier AC coach. Unfortunately I dont hav a ticket. So.. can there b some arrangement in any of the coaches?
SM: U'll hav to talk to the TC for that. In case there is some last minute cancellation,u can get that berth.
Arnav: And.. what is the fine for travelling without ticket?
SM: There's no question of travelling without ticket! Its a superfast express & u're not allowed to travel without ticket in it. In case u do so,u'll b asked to get down at the next station.
Khushi(thinks): Hey Devi Maiyya! Plz make sure that Arnavji gets a berth in any of the coaches!I'll offer a prasaad of rs 101 in ur temple tomorrow itself! And I'll also feed jilebis to the poor children. Plz listen to my prayers!
Arnav: Thank u!
Arnav exits his cabin,followed by Khushi.
Khushi: Arnavji,r u.. angry?
Arnav(turns around): What the hell is this,Khushi!?
Khushi(scared): Wh.. what?
Arnav: How can u b so careless? Train is called Jammu Rourkela express. Ticket says that the boarding point is Jammu Tawi. How come u didnt notice all this? Had the hotel manager not told us about it,what would hav happened?
Khushi: I.. completely forgot about checking the ticket..
Arnav: While coming from Delhi u had called the station & confirmed the train's timing. Y didnt u do it this time around? Now we'll hav to wait here for 2 hours!
Khushi(angry): Y r u yelling at me? While coming here, I'd called the station coz I had the phone number of Old Dilli station. Whereas I dont hav the number of this station. And secondly,the tickets were with amma. And I hardly got to spend half an hour with amma,babuji & buaji yesterday. I was with u for the rest of the day. Now u tell me,did I really hav the time to enquire about the train?
Arnav realized that she had a point.
Khushi: U're telling me as if it was solely my responsibility! U couldve also enquired about it naa? Or u couldve asked Shubhamji about it. Did u do anything like that? Nope! U just started yelling at me!
Arnav(holds her arm): Khushi..
Khushi(moves his hand away): Let it b.
She starts walking away.Arnav follows her.
Arnav: Khushi,people r.. watching us..
Khushi(glares at him): U should've thought about it while yelling at me!
Arnav opens his mouth to say something when..
Khushi: And u shouldnt b bothered about these people since they're unknown to u! So let them all watch the Matinee show!
Arnav(holds her hand): Look,I'm sorry! I shouldnt hav reacted that way. But plz.. dont create a Scene over here..
Khushi: The scene will get over the moment u'll leave my hand!
Arnav: Fine!
He leaves her hand and stops walking towards her.
Khushi comes back to him after walking a few steps ahead.
Khushi: I never asked u to stop! Come..
Arnav: I'm not coming. Not until u say that u forgive me!
Khushi: In that case,keep standing here like a donkey!
Arnav: Excuse me?
Khushi: Ya! Donkeys r the ones which stand like statues in the middle of the road! Didnt u ever encounter one?
Arnav(sarcastically): Unfortunately I never needed to travel on any such roads where donkeys stand like statues!
Khushi(shrugs): Ur bad luck!
Arnav: Enough of the useless talk! Now tell me,r u forgiving me or not?
Khushi: R u asking for my forgiveness? It seems as if u're intimidating me!
Arnav: U can think of it any way u like! Answer me- yes or no?
Khushi: No! Got it?
Arnav nods.
Khushi: R u coming or..
She's interrupted by babuji.
Babuji: Khushi?
Khushi(shocked): Babuji,u.. here?
Babuji: Ya! U both were taking so long. Thats y..
Arnav: Train is at 2:30,babuji..
Babuji: Okay. Come,lets sit in the waiting room..
Arnav: We can go to some hotel or restaurant for lunch after keeping the luggage in the waiting room.
Babuji: But u sent Shubham babu back to Katra.
Arnav: Doesnt matter! We can hire a taxi.
Babuji: Will we b back within time?
Arnav: Ya babuji. We'll go to some hotel or restaurant which is near by.
Babuji: As u wish! Lemme call didi over here.
Arnav: We'll go & fix the taxi. Once they're here,plz come with them to the taxi stand.
Babuji: Ji.
Arnav(holds her hand): Come..
Khushi waits till they're out of the station.
Khushi: Leave my hand..
Arnav ignores her & keeps walking towards the taxi stand.
Arnav(calls loudly): Taxi!
Taxi driver: Ji janaab?
Arnav: Is there a nice hotel or restaurant near by?
Driver: There r many of them,janaab!
Arnav: We need 2 taxis to go to the nearest good hotel or restaurant. U arrange the other taxi,we'll join u shortly.
Driver: Okay.
Khushi: Y do we need 2 taxis?
Arnav: Coz the 5 of us wont fit into 1 taxi. Unless.. u wanna sit on my lap!
Khushi: No thank u! Now,will u leave my hand?
Arnav leaves her hand.

**In the taxi**
Arnav is sitting right behind the taxi driver whereas Khushi is sitting to his left,on the farther side, maintaining a distance from him.
Arnav: How much time will it take to reach over there?
Driver: Around 10 minutes..
Arnav: Okay.
With his left hand Arnav grabs Khushi's right hand.
Khushi is about to reprimand him when her gaze falls on the taxi driver.
Khushi(thinks): I cant even tell him to leave my hand in front of the driver!
She silently tries to free herself but is unable to do so.
She looks at Arnav to find him looking straight ahead with an expressionless face ahead.
Khushi(thinks): Let it b,Khushi. What will he gain by grabbing my hand forcefully? I'm not goin to forgive him! Its only a matter of few more minutes. Till then let Arnavji do whatever he wants to do.
She turns her face to the other side & gazes out of the window.
Surprisingly for her,Arnav releases her hand the moment she stops protesting.
He gently covers the back of her hand with his own palm & taps it.
Khushi looks at him angrily to find him still looking ahead.
Khushi(thinks): God knows what he wants to do!?
At that moment Arnav looks at her for a second & then looks pointedly at their hands.
When Khushi shifts her gaze to their hands,Arnav uses his left index finger to scribble something on the back of her hand.
Khushi(thinks): I..
Next he scribbles something more.
Khushi(thinks): am..
Then eventually he scribbles very sorry on her hand.
Khushi looks at him to find him looking at her hand.
Then he scribbles And I mean it! on her hand.
This time when Khushi glances at him she finds him looking at her,guilt evident on his face.
Arnav moves his hand away & places it on the seat of the taxi,between them.
Khushi sighs as she places his hand on her right thigh.
Then she begins writing in Hindi "Theek hai" (alright) on his hand using her index finger.
Before she could've completed the theek,Arnav pats her hand with his right hand.
Khushi nods,as if to ask "What?"
Arnav points to their hands & then shakes his neck.
Khushi(mutters softly): Angrez chale gaye,lard governer chhod gaye!
Arnav smiles as she writes theek hai on the back of his hand in English script.
Then she writes "maaf kiya!" (I forgive u) also in English script.
Khushi(thinks): Arnavji is too much! (smiles)He's using methods which kids use to say sorry!
Before Arnav could entwine his hand with hers,the driver stops the taxi.
Driver: We've reached,janaab.
Arnav is forced to withdraw his hand.
Khushi: U pay him meanwhile I'll go with amma babuji & buaji.
Khushi leaves before he could stop her.

Once the food was served,Khushi decided to tease Arnav,who was sitting across her on the table.
She removes her mojri & extends her foot towards Arnav,all this while mixing dal & rice.
Then she slowly runs her bare,right foot up Arnav's left leg.
Arnav immediately drops his spoon & looks under the table.
Babuji(follows Arnav's gaze): What happened Arnav babu?
Khushi immediately withdraws her foot.
Arnav: I thought there was something out there..
Buaji: What is itNandkisore?
Arnav: I dunno buaji.. May b some insect which was climbing up my leg..
Buaji(looks around): This place is very neat & clean. Doesnt look like some insect would b there over here.
Arnav: Sometimes insects come out durng rainy season naa buaji. Toh.. it must b one of them.
Buaji nods & proceeds to eat.
Once everyone's,including Arnav's attention,shifts to their respective plates, Khushi extends her foot towards Arnav's leg.
This time,however,she gets caught.
The moment she places her foot on Arnav's leg,Arnav places his right foot on Khushi's foot,thus blocking her movement.
Khushi gasps loudly.
Amma: What happened Khusi?
Khushi: Nothing amma.. a.. I just bit into a.. chilly..
Arnav: Hav some water,Khushi. U'll feel better!
Amma: Ya.(hands her glass)Here bitiya..
Khushi stares at Arnav from behind the glass.
Arnav cocks his left eyebrow.
She gives him a pleading look.
Arnav leaves her foot but before Khushi could put her foot down,he drags her mojri towards himself & hides it in the space between his & babuji's feet.
Khushi(thinks): Thanks a ton,Devi Maiyya!
When she withdraws her leg she finds her mojri missing.
Khushi(thinks): Areh! Where did my mojri go?
She tries to feel it with her bare foot but is unable to find it.
Khushi(thinks): I'd removed it right here. Where can it go?
She lifts the table cloth & looks under the table.
Amma: Now what happened to u, bitiya?
Arnav: Looks like some insect is bothering Khushi as well..
Khushi,meanwhile,is shocked to see her mojri near babuji's foot.
Khushi(thinks): Hey Devi Maiyya! How did it go over there?..
She realizes how it could've got there.
When she extends her left foot towards the mojri Arnav pushes it farther away.
Khushi gives her trademark shocked expression.
Babuji: What's the matter,Khushi?
Khushi: N.. nothing.. babuji!..Nothing at all!..
Arnav: Ya Khushi,whats the problem? Y rnt u eating anything?
Khushi: What do I do? (thru gritted teeth) Ek makoda humein bahut pareshaan kar raha hai.
Buaji: Hit it with ur foot,Sanka devi!
Khushi: Ji buaji.(glares at Arnav) Now thats what I'll do!
She stomps her bare heel angrily on Arnav's foot.
But Arnav does not give any reaction.
Khushi(thinks): Its all my fault! I shouldnt hav played mischief with him! Now I'm caught in his trap!
She clicks her tongue in disgust.
Arnav's gaze falls on her plate.
Arnav: Khushi,dont pay attention to that. Hav ur food.
Khushi(makes a face): I dont want to hav anything.
Amma: Y?
Khushi: Just like that. I dont feel like having this..
Amma: What do u want to hav?
Khushi: Nothing!
Amma(shakes her head): This girl is too much!
Buaji: Hav something,Sanka devi. Who knows when the train people will serve dinner?
Amma: Thats true!
Arnav calls the waitor before Khushi could refuse.
Waiter: Yes sir?
Arnav: Whats available in desserts?
Waiter: Sir right now.. only gulabjamun & kulfi r available.
Arnav: Okay. So get 1 plate gulabjamun and 4 kulfis.
Waiter: Okay sir.
Amma(smiles): U'll hav gulabjamun naa?
Khushi(looking at Arnav): No..
Arnav drags the mojri towards Khushi's foot.
Then he taps her foot.
Khushi glances under the table & smiles upon seeing her mojri.
Arnav: She means to say that she'll hav both the food as well as the gulabjamun. Right Khushi?
Khushi: Yup! (smiles)Now that insect has stopped troubling me!
Arnav shakes his head & resumes eating.

Arnav went to look out for the TC as soon as the train arrived.
Khushi went with the Guptas to the 3 tier AC coach,chanting Devi Maiyya's name.
Arnav joined them 10 minutes later.
Khushi(anxious): What happened? Did u get a berth?
Arnav made a sorry face & shook his head.
Khushi(with her hand on her head): Hey Devi Maiyya!
Arnav: Relax! I didnt get a Berth but I got 2 berths!
Khushi(confused): What do u mean?
Arnav: I mean there were 2 cancellations in the 2 tier AC coach. So.. I thought it'll b better if u're with me. So I bought both the tickets!
Khushi(elated): Really!?
Arnav: Yup!(turns to Guptas')I hope u'll dont hav a problem with that?..
Buaji: Y would we,babua? This time all 3 of us hav got lower berths. We'll stay comfortably over here & u both stay together over there!
Arnav smiles while Khushi blushes.
Buaji: But remember,this train will reach Delhi early in the morning.. Thats y.. dont stay awake for a long time tonight. Okay Sanka devi?
A flustered Khushi gives a small nod.
Amma nudges buaji who tries to hide her smile.
Arnav: I know that the train reaches Delhi at 4:30 am. Dont worry,buaji. We'll b up before that.
Buaji: Okay babua.
Arnav: So,shall we leave now?
Buaji: Ya babua.
Khushi: We'll hav dinner together. so either u'll come over there or we'll come over here.
Amma: U both come over here.
Khushi: Okay. Plz call me if u need anything.
Amma: Dont worry bitiya. We're fine.
Khushi(smiles): Okay.
She is about to pick up her duffel bag when Arnav stops her.
Arnav: Wait! I'll take it. Come after me.
Khushi: I'll take ur leave,amma.
Amma(smiles): Ya bitiya.

ArShi find two kids playing snakes & ladders on one of their berths.
Their mother,who's sitting on the opposite birth,is busy knitting something.
Arnav: Excuse me?
Lady: Yes?
Arnav: This is my berth.
Lady: No,this is my daughter's berth. May I know ur berth number?
Arnav: 39 & 40 r our berths.
Lady: Those r the upper berths. These r 37 & 38,which r ours.
She shows him her tickets.
Arnav: I'm sorry!
Khushi: Plz forgive us! We thought that the lower berths were ours.
Lady: That's okay! U can sit on the lower berth for as long as u want. I'll shift my kids to this berth..
Arnav: That's okay. We'll b fine on r berths.
Khushi: a.. Arnavji,y do u want to go on the upper berth right now?Lets sit here for a while. We'll shift to r berths after tea time.
Arnav: Tea time will b around 3 hours later,Khushi.
Khushi: Ya,so what? R u feeling sleepy?
Arnav nods.
Khushi: In that case u go to sleep on ur berth. I'll sit over here with them.
Arnav: I'll go later. Right now u come outside with me..
Khushi(confused): Out.. side? Y?
Arnav looks at the lady to find her looking at them.
Arnav: Coz we need to call nani. The network must b low over here. Lets go outside & talk to her. (to the lady) Excuse us.. I'll arrange my luggage under the berth after coming back..
Lady: I'm not having any problems with ur luggage so plz dont worry!
Arnav nods while holding Khushi's hands.
Then he takes her outside the coach & straight into one of the lavatories.

Khushi: U're too much,Arnavji! Niether did u look to ur left nor did u look to ur right! U directly brought me in here!
Arnav(pulls her close): I'm not interested in looking to the left or right!
Khushi: Yeah,yeah! I know very well where ur interest lies!
Arnav: So tell me,where does my interest lie?
Khushi: In romance! U just need to get a chance to get romantic with me! Like a monkey pounces on the branch of a tree the moment he sees its laden with fruit,similarly u pounce on me whenever u get the slightest chance!
Arnav lets go of her waist.
Then he takes two steps away from her & folds his arms across his chest.
Khushi: What?
Arnav: Khushi,what the hell? That day u called me an oontwala. Today u called me a donkey,then an insect & now u're calling me a monkey. What is all this?
Khushi: Y r u getting offended? I was only citing the example of a donkey & monkey..
Arnav: And what bout the insect?

Arnav: Teasing is a different matter altogether. But.. comparing me with wierd stuff is just.. (sighs) Forget it!
Khushi: Cant I say anything to u in jest? As ur wife,dont I hav that much right on u? And about comparing u, u may find it wierd but u'll hav to agree that I always make the correct & apt comparisons!
Arnav doesnt say anything.
Khushi: Ok. Since u dislike it so much,I wont compare u with anything or anybody from now onwards!
She mimics his pose by folding her arms across her chest.
Arnav(thinks): Copycat Singh Raizada is back!
Khushi: What r u thinking about?
Arnav: huh? a.. nothing.
Khushi: If u wanna do something,u do it now. Or else lemme go outside.
Arnav: What should I do?
Khushi: As if u dont know! Stop acting!
Arnav: Okay! So now I'll begin directly!
So saying he cups her face & slams his mouth against hers.
Khushi,caught unaware,holds his shoulders for support.
Arnav kisses her passionately.
His hands run down her cheeks to the sides of her neck,down her slender arms & finally come to rest on the curve of her waist.
He pulls her closer,leaving no space between their bodies.
Khushi moans into his mouth as she wraps her arms around his neck,pulling him closer.
After they break apart for want of air,Arnav leans his forehead against her.
Khushi closes her eyes as his uneven breaths fan her face.
Arnav(pecks her nose): When u're angry first & shy later ur nose a deeper shade of red!
He tweaks her nose.
Khushi(pushing him away): Who told u that I'm shy? I'm still angry..
Arnav: I see.. (inches his face closer to hers) So.. u're not shy.. R u?
Khushi(averting her gaze): No..
Arnav: Good for u! Coz I'm going to remind u about yesterday right now.
Khushi: Yes.. ter.. day?
Arnav: Hmm! (tucks her hair behind her ear) Yesterday at this time,we were.. in the hotel.. trying the new position..
He pecks her lips lightly.
Arnav: U were wearing my shirt & I..
He observes the change in the color of Khushi's cheeks & smiles inwardly.
Arnav: And I.. (loudly) was right!
His sudden change in volume scares Khushi who gasps.
Arnav: Coz u're feeling shy! IF u need a proof u may look at urself in the mirror..
He points to a small mirror on the wall.
When Khushi turns around the train jerks to a halt at a station.
Khushi is about to loose her balance but Arnav holds her in the nick of time.
Arnav: Tum theek ho?
Khushi: Hmm.
Arnav(kisses her cheek): R u still angry?
He runs his knuckles from her cheek bone to the lower border of her jaw.
Khushi closes her eyes.
Arnav(whispers in her ear): R u still feeling shy?
Khushi(opens her eyes): Yes,yes,I'm feeling shy! Okay? R u happy now?
Arnav smirks.
Khushi(smacks his chest): U keep teasing me whenever u get the chance!..
She hides her flushed face in his chest.
Arnav(envelopes her in a hug): Yeah,right! As if u leave a chance to tease me! What were u doing in the hotel?
Khushi(lifts her head to look at his face): I was doing it lightly & slowly. U rammed ur foot in sucha way on mine that for a second I feared that my leg muscle would get pulled again!
Arnav(looking at her feet): Is ur leg aching?
Khushi: No,it was aching back then. Now,if u're satisfied with the train romance can we go out?
Arnav: Whats the hurry?
Khushi: I'm feeling suffocated over here. We'll come here again at night. Okay?
Arnav(smiles): Okay.
He presses a gentle kiss to her parting.
Arnav: I'm warning u- I wont let u go so soon at night!
Khushi: U need not hav said that! I knew it! a.. can I say something?
Arnav: Sure.
Khushi: We've romanced in all the three mediums.
Arnav(confused): Mediums?..
Khushi: Air,water,land. While goin 2 Vaishnodevi we had..
Arnav: Air romance!

Arnav(with a lopsided grin): Yeah,I know!
Khushi: We keep indulging in.. land romance every now & then!

Arnav(wonders aloud): Which place is it?
Khushi: Antariksh!
Arnav: Oh! U mean space?
Khushi: Ya! U already hav a chopper. Now its time u buy a rocket. Then we'll spend r next anniversary in space,indulging in space romance!
Arnav: Yeah,y not?! After returning from Paris I'll send u to NASA!
Khushi: Y NASA?
Arnav: Until u recieve formal training for an astronaut from there,how will u b able to venture into space?
Khushi: Yeah,right! I'll need rigorous training in order to venture into space. Isnt it? Whereas u wont require any training coz the moment NASA authorities will spot u they'll lie prostate in front of u in reverence! They'll consider themselves extremely fortunate since Arnav Singh Raizada will b giving them the opportunity to take him on a space travel! Hence they'll lead u inside the rocket,without any training & allow u to venture into space! That too,in order to romance ur wife!
Arnav: Of course!
Khushi: What of course?! U r not that great okay?
Arnav: I may not b great but u'll hav to agree that Arnav Singh Raizada is different!
Khushi: U'll also hav to agree that ur Khushi Singh Raizada aapse may not b as great as urself,but she's no less! (proudly) She's ur equal!
Arnav pulls her flush against himself.
Arnav: When did I say that she's not? Whether its a business deal or a challenge,its fun only if ur competitor is of ur level! No wonder I enjoy so much with u! I love challenging u, seeing u live up to the challenge & giving u a tough fight! Life is never dull with u as my wife!
Khushi: Enough! The train has started. Lets go outside now.
Arnav: Let it start! We dont hav to get down now. R station will come early in the morning.
Khushi: So do u intend to stay here till morning?
Arnav nods.
Khushi(blushes): U're crazy! (hits his head) Absolutely crazy!
Arnav: That's y I'm ur equal! (hits her head with his own) Coz u r also absolutely crazy!
Khushi: Uff!
Arnav: U want me to hit ur head again?
Khushi: Nope! Now I understood what u told me that day! If I'm destined to get horns on my head,then I'll get those horns even if nobody hits his/her head with mine! But if I'm not destined to get horns on my head,even if I bang my head 100 times with ur head,I wont get horns! Okay? Now,move aside..
She moves past him,opens the door & quickly enters the cabin while a confused Arnav remains in the lavatory.
Arnav(wonders): Did I explain this to her that day? (realizes) Of course not! I never all this! Nobody,I mean,no human can get horns on his/her head. Ya! Thats what I'd meant that day! Khu.. (looks around) Where did she go? Khushi..!
He goes inside the coach.

Khushi gives a sugary sweet smile to Arnav who sighs & climbs onto his berth while Khushi sits next to the lady.
Khushi: I forgot to introduce myself! I'm Khushi. And that's(points to Arnav) my husband,Arnavji.
Arnav gives an acknowledging nod to the lady who smiles at him.
Lady: I'm Asiya &(points to her kids) that's my daughter Razaan & this is my son Hamdaan.Kids, say hello to aapa..
Razaan: Hi!
Khushi: Hi! U're in which class?
Razaan: Till now I was in senior KG. But when the school will reopen I'll b in grade 1!

In response Hamdaan throws the dice at Khushi.
Asiya(scolds): What is this nonsense,Hamdaan? Say sorry to her!
Hamdaan makes a face.
Asiya: Hamdaan,I said say sorry to her!
Khushi: Its okay. He's just a kid.
Asiya: Misbehaviour is misbehaviour no matter if its a small kid or an adult! Nobody should misbehave,esp. with elders! (sternly)R u sayin sorry to aapa or should I call abbu?
Hamdaan immediately says sorry to Khushi.
Asiya: She'd asked u something. U never replied to her question.
Hamdaan: I'm in nusri!
Asiya: He means to say nursery. I'm sorry!
Khushi(returns the dice): Its okay! (to Asiya) Looks like he's scared of his abbu?
Asiya(nods): He's very scared of him and so is Razaan! But its not their fault. Their abbu gets angry on small-small things. He's very temperamental.
Arnav,who had closed his eyes,opens his eyes when he hears that.
Asiya: He doesnt possess the kind of love & patience that is required to handle children! Scolding children when they're wrong is fine. But yelling at them for every little thing is not proper. Is it?
Khushi shakes her head.
Asiya: He gets so angry even if a little thing is not as per his liking. What to talk about the kids when I myself am scared of his anger!
Khushi: I can understand..
Asiya: The kids r not only scared of his anger but they've drifted apart from him bcoz of the same reason. They both r very close to me. They need their ammi everywhere. And whether their abbu is present or not,it hardly matters for them!
Khushi nods understandingly while Asiya continues.
Asiya: I'll give u the example of day before yesterday. All four of us had come to Kashmir for a vacation but he had to go back that day itself bcoz of some urgent work. I dont think they've missed him in the last 2 days! They were pretty happy with me! In fact, when their abbu is not there,they hav fun,they relax,they chat freely. They play,they study & basically they do everything at ease. But the moment he comes they get tongue tied & scared. But its not their fault. The fault lies with their abbu! He's so busy with his work that he hardly gets to spend some time with us. During that short period of that if he yells & takes out his work related frustration on the kids,how will the kids eveer b attached to him?
Khushi: Till he doesnt devote quality time to the kids... its difficult for them to get closer to him..
Asiya: Exactly! Thats y I feel that my khaala was absolutely right when she said that just by giving birth to a child,one does not become a parent! Its neccesary to raise the child correctly in order to b called as a parent!
Khushi: That's so true!
Asiya: For my husband,having kids meant everything. The moment the kids were born he shrugged off his responsibility & drowned in his work!
Asiya goes on ranting about her husband while Khushi patiently listens to her, unmindful of the fact that Arnav's ears were focused on whatever Asiya was saying.
Khushi: What does he do?
Asiya: He's a landlord. We hav acres & acres of his paternal land in Illahabad & Mirzapur. And the entire responsibility of that rests on his shoulders.
Khushi: Okay. So u belong to Mirzapur?
Asiya: Yes. My husband's abba is from there. We stay in Illahabad. My abbu is from Ghaziabad so I was born & brought up over there. I became an Illahabadi post my nikaah.
Khushi nods.
Asiya: From where r u?
Khushi: My in-laws & parents both r from Lucknow. But currently both r residing in Delhi.
Asiya: My cousin's in-laws' place is also in Delhi. And my aunt's in-laws' place was in Lucknow till the migrated to Australia.
Khushi: My naniji was from Allahabad. I've spent quite a lot of time in Allahabad during childhood. But.. she's no more now & my nanaji had passed away years ago. So.. its been a long time since I've been to Allahabad..
They keep chatting with each other for some more time.
Razaan: Ammi,its enough now!
Asiya: What happened dear?
Razaan: How many times should I play snakes & ladders & ludo? Now I'm getting bored!
Asiya: Take out the puzzle from the bag & solve it..
Razaan: I've solved that puzzle atleast 100 times since the last 8 days! Now I'm bored of it as well!
Asiya: Okay. So open the curtain & look at the scenery. Or else go off to sleep!
Razaan: Plz gimme ur phone. I'll play that..
Asiya(interrupts): No,I wont! Ur eye power has increased. Ur abbu has given strict instructions to me. U're not going to play any video game now!
Razaan(frustrated): So what do I do,ammi? I want to play some game!
Khushi: Will u play with me?
Razaan: Which game is it?
Khushi: Aam chori,chappa chori!
Razaan(frowns): What is that?
Khushi(shocked): U dont know about it?
Razaan shakes her head.
Asiya: Nowadays the kids r so busy with TV,computer & video games that they dont hav any time for aam chori,chappa chori!
Khushi: I'll teach u how to play. U hav to clap like this..
She teaches her the different ways to clap.
Hamdaan: I also want to play!
Asiya: Come here & play with me..
After that,Khushi plays akkad bakkad Bambai bo & some more games with them.
Asiya gets a call which she cuts.
Asiya: Its an important call. Here they both will make noise & thus I wont b able to talk properly. Will u.. plz take care of them for 10 minutes? Meanwhile I'll go outside the coach & talk.
Khushi: Ya,sure! Dont worry. I'll take good care o them!
Asiya: Thank u so much!
After she leaves..
Arnav: Khushi..
Khushi: Yes?
Arnav gestures her to come to him.
Khushi stands up & walks over towards the upper berth on the opposite side.
Khushi: What happened?
Arnav(whispers): Y did u take the responsibility of these kids? U shouldve refused!
Khushi: Its only a matter of 10 minutes! I'll handle them very nicely!
She goes back on the berth & resumes playing with the kids.

**10 minutes after Asiya leaves**
Razaan: Now,can we play some other game?
Khushi: Some other game? umm.. okay. Its magic time now!
Hamdaan(surprised): Magic?
Khushi: Yes,magic! Come on,close ur eyes! No Cheating,okay?
The kids nod.
Khushi plays with them for another 5-7 minutes till Asiya returns.
Asiya: I hope they didnt trouble u?
Khushi: Of course not! They're really sweet!
Razaan: Aapa,can we play some otrher game now?
Khushi: a.. (thinks aloud) Which game can we play? Lemme think..
Asiya: Razaan,y r u troubling aapa?
Khushi: No,no! She's not troubling me at all! In fact I enjoyed a lot with them! (smiles)I got a chance to relive my childhood thanks to them!
Asiya: Looks like u're fond of kids.
Khushi: Yes,I am! (to the kids) Now,I'll show u one more magic trick!
Arnav(thinks): Khushi took such good care of these kids! Whereas I'd thought that.. Khushi will not b able to handle kids..
*flashback*
Arnav: Di,I mean.. I'm happy but tensed as well! Di,Khushi is pregnant! I'm goin to b a father! I know I should b very happy .. I'm damn worried for her! She herself is a kid. How will she handle a baby? And I!? How will I b able to handle both her & the baby?
Anjali: Chhotey relax! U need not worry since Khushiji is not pregnant!
Paayalji is pregnant! Aakash is goin to b a father, not u!
Arnav: But now I feel that... my perception regarding Khushi was totally wrong. When we'll hav our baby.. Khushi will handle him/her pretty easily but.. I?.. I wont b able to handle the baby!..
He gets up as this realization makes him restless.
Khushi: What happened Arnavji?Do u need anything?
Arnav: a.. water..
Khushi: Wait a minute..
While giving water Khushi notices the frown lines on his forehead.
Khushi: What is it? Is.. something bothering u?
Arnav: No,nothing like that. Water?..
Khushi: Here..
Razaan: Aapa plz come here..
Khushi: Yes,cumin. (looks at Arnav) Everything is okay naa?
Arnav: Ya Khushi. Everything is okay. U go & play with them. I'm fine.
Khushi smiles & goes back to sit with the kids.

Khushi gets up in the middle of the night to drink water when she finds Arnav missing from his berth.
Khushi(shocked): Hey Devi Maiyya! Where did Arnavji go?
She calls him but finds his phone on his berth.
Khushi(thinks): Lemme wait for.. a while. If Arnavji is not back after 10 minutes then.. I'll hav to call babuji.

Boat, helicopter, train are done, now remains Car and Aeroplane (I am sure you will plan something during their Paris Trip 😉) or if possible Bike too but not sure how can one romance on two wheeler, no privacy naa! Granted! Hav no fear when SUV is here! About bike I'm not that sure. and Bullock cart doesnt go with ASR's image 😆😆LOL! Yeah!
