Khushi turns around gingerly,not having the slightest idea of what was to follow.
Arnav(folds his arms across his chest): Y did u come running to the bathroom?
Khushi looks at him for a second or two before averting her gaze to the floor.
Khushi: U're talking as if u dunno..
Arnav: I know. Still,I want to hear it from ur mouth.
He tilts her chin up & forces her to look at him.
Arnav: Tell me..
Khushi: Wh.. whatever.. hap.. pened.. at.. that time..
Arnav(interrupts): Ya,so? What about it?
Khushi: After that.. I.. came in.. side.
Arnav: I already know that! (slightly raises his voice) What I'm asking is as to y u came in here?
A scared Khushi lowers her gaze & takes a step back.
Khushi(fumbles): I.. I.. was..
Arnav: Couldnt u wait for a bit longer over there? Atleast I could've said sorry!
Khushi instantly looks at him,surprise & disbelief evident on her face.
Khushi: Wh.. what?
Arnav: U heard me! Had u stayed there for some more time,I'd have said sorry & thank u both.
Khushi(frowns): Sorry.. thank u.. what for?
Arnav(in a softer tone): I'm sorry For.. all that happened outside!
Khushi's racing heartbeats calm down after hearing that.
Arnav: I really dunno how things slipped out of my control today? Anyways,I'm sorry!
Khushi: And.. thank u for what?
Arnav takes a step towards her. Khushi immediately steps back only to collide against the door.
Arnav: Careful!
Khushi clutches the towel wrapped around herself tightly as she waits for Arnav to continue.
Arnav(tucking her hair behind her ear): Thank u for the memorable evening! U did exactly what I told u to do! I cant tell u how thrilled I was!
He bends his head & kisses her cheek.
Khushi closes her eyes & sighs.
Arnav: U came inside coz u were scared. Right?
Khushi (nods): Everything happened.. so.. suddenly that.. I got scared.
Arnav: There's nothing to get scared in this,Khushi! U should b happy with whatever happened!
Khushi gives him a surprised cum shocked look.
Arnav: Ya! What does it tell u?
Khushi thinks for a moment. Unable to find the answer to his question,she shakes her head.
Khushi: No idea..
Arnav(smiles): It tells u that u did a fantastic job!
Khushi(surprised): Really?
Arnav(nods): Yup,really! I'm impressed Khushi Singh Raizada! Honestly,I wasnt expecting this from u! And the fact that u outdid my expectations makes me all the more happy!
Khushi beams delightedly.
Arnav: And yes! U did make me scream!
Khushi lowers her gaze & blushes.
Arnav: Congratulations!
Khushi is about to hug him but stops when his erection pokes her.
Arnav senses her discomfort & gives her a side hug.
Khushi rests her head on his right shoulder & wraps her arms around his right arm.
Arnav: R u happy?
Khushi: Yes! And the smile on ur face makes me all the more happy!
Arnav: Not bcoz of me,r u happy for urself? Whatever u did a.. did u enjoy it?
Khushi nods.
Arnav: Khushi,say it with ur mouth!
Khushi(screams in his ear): Yess!
Arnav(rubs his ear): What the..!?
Khushi gives a mischievious smile.
Arnav: I guess we should proceed to do something which would..(tweaks her nose) make ur nose redder than it is right now!
Khushi blushes but does not say anything.
Arnav takes that as a yes and scoops her in his arms.
He takes her to the bed to complete the unfinished business.

**Later that day,8:23 pm**
When Khushi woke up,she was shocked to find the room seeped in darkness.
Khushi(thinks): Hey Devi Maiyya! Looks like its past 7 pm.
She carefully removed Arnav's arm from around her waist and turned to take out the alarm clock from under the matress.
Khushi(squints her eyes): Damn these curtains! I'm unable to see anything properly.
She extended her hand towards the bedside table to fetch her mobile.
The time it displayed left her shocked.
Khushi(loudly): Hey Devi Maiyya!
That woke up Arnav who instantly reached out for Khushi.
Arnav(holding her shoulder): Khushi,what happened?
Khushi: Its almost 8:30, Arnavji. Now its too late..
She sat up,followed by Arnav,who switched on the bedside lamp.
Arnav: Too late for what?
Khushi: To fulfill my mannat. The temple closes at 8 pm. By now all the poor kids must've gone. (crestfallen face) Now my mannat wont get fulfilled..
Arnav: Its okay! U can always fulfill it tomorrow.
Khushi: That's not how a mannat is fulfilled,Arnavji! The mannat was to be fulfilled today itself. (slams her forehead)I dunno wen I fell asleep? Its all my fault!
Arnav didnt want Khushi to feel guilty & regret the wonderful time which they'd spent together.
So he came up with a solution.
Arnav: Relax! I hav an idea.
Khushi: What is it?
Arnav: We hav a temple at home,remember? U can always keep the money over there. Now,whether u offer it in r in-house temple or the other temple,ts one & the same thing,right?
Khushi(agrees): Ya,ure right. But.. What about feeding jilebis to the poor kids?
Arnav: U get ready quickly. Then go downstairs & start making jalebis.
Khushi: But the temple is..
Arnav(interrupts): I know the temple has closed! So what? U'll find poor kids but their families as well on traffic signals, footpaths,etc! In fact y just kids? U'll find their whole family over there! U can feed them jalebis & thereby fulfill ur mannat. Okay?
Khushi smiles & hugs him.
Khushi: Okay. Thanks for giving this idea! I dunno what would've happened to me had u not been my husband?
Arnav(kisses the top of her head): Nothing! Go & get ready.I'll ask Aakash to take u.
Khushi(lifts her head to look at him): Y Jijaji? Wont u come with me?
Arnav: No,I cant. As such a lot of time has gone. Now I should start making dinner.
Khushi: Let it b, Arnavji. HPji must've made dinner for everyone by now.Its too late & u havent even started the preparations. How will u b able to prepare dinner by dinner time? Plz let it b tonight.. I'm not asking u to not prepare dinner for me,I'm just asking u to postpone ur plans.
Arnav(sighs) I guess u're right!
Khushi(cups his cheek): Dont b disappointed! Come with me & let jijaji b with jiji.
Arnav: Okay. I'll make dinner tom..
Khushi(interrupts): No Arnavji!
Arnav(frowns): Y not tomorrow?
Khushi: Look,dont b upset or anything.. But,the truth is that we've only got 2 days at hand before leaving for Paris. We should devote some time to r family in these 2 days. Now today we've spent most of the day with each other. I couldnt even talk properly to naniji. I havent unpacked my luggage nor hav I given the gifts yet. It.. doesnt look proper.
Arnav doesnt say anything.
Khushi: Wont we stay together 24/7 in Paris? Its only a matter of 2 days! We should spend sometime with them in these 2 days. I've just returned from a 10 day trip. I know that the family must've missed me as much as I missed them in the last 10 days! Now that I'm home,I want to chat with them,share my stories with them,hear what they hav to day and spend some quality time with them. Am I.. saying something wrong?
Arnav: No Khushi. U're right. We should spend time with them.
Khushi(smiles): Absolutely!
Arnav: I've decided! I'll prepare dinner for u in Paris itself & arrange the candlelight dinner which I wanted to arrange tonight!
Khushi(shocked): So.. u'll cook over there?
Arnav: Yup! The scenario will b similar once we return from Paris. U'll say that we've come home after 15 days so lets spend time with the family! which is not wrong. But.. then again my plans will fail. So.. thats y I took this decision.
Khushi: Its a wise decision! Right now we should get ready.
Arnav: Right!
Khushi(gets up hurriedly): I hav to make so many jilebis..
Arnav: Khushi,dont overexert urself by making a truckload of jalebis. Make few of them,okay?
Khushi: Dont worry about me! My tiredness has vanished,thanks to the sleep! Now I can makes tonnes of jilebis very easily!
She excitedly leaves for the bathroom while Arnav shakes his head.

When Arnav wakes up the next morning,he's shocked to find Khushi's side of the bed empty.
Arnav(groans): Khushi..
No response.
He glances at the bathroom door to find it closed.
Arnav(loudly): Khushi r u here?
Still no response.
Arnav(sitting up): Where did she disappear? That too so early in the morning?
He is about to get down the bed when the door opens & in walks Khushi, looking fresh & radiant in a yellow-orange saree. (from the Rakhi episode)
A smile appears on Arnav's lips as his eyes feast on his gorgeous wife.
Khushi(smiles): Goodmorning!
Arnav(checks himself & replies in a cold tone): Morning!
Khushi: What happened? Y did the smile leave ur face?
Before Arnav could answer..
Khushi: Okay,I got it! U're angry coz u woke up late,isnt it?
She continues,without waiting for him to reply.
Khushi: Doesnt matter! U go & freshen up meanwhile I'll take out ur track suit & trainers.
When she turns towards the wardrobe,Arnav gets down the bed.

Khushi(frowns): Oh-ho! Now where did this tracksuit go? (wonders aloud)Hope HPji hasnt given ur tracksuit for..
She stops abruptly when she feels two strong arms around her waist.
Khushi(surprised): Arnavji?
Arnav(kisses her right shoulder): Hmm?
Khushi: Move away! The door is open!
Arnav(moving her hair to the front of her left shoulder): umm hmm! Today I'm not gonna listen to u.
Khushi: Haww! Y?
Arnav: Coz u woke up before I did. (kisses the side of her neck)And then u went somewhere without informing me..
Khushi(struggles to free herself): Let go of me!
Arnav nuzzles the cranny of her neck & shoulder.
Khushi: Areh...! I was.. in the kit.. chen..
Arnav(lifts his head to look at her): Couldnt u tell me before leaving?
Without a warning he nips the sensitive spot on her neck,eliciting a part scream part moan from her.
Khushi: Aah! Doorrr..
Arnav leaves her waist & goes to close the door.
Khushi(rubbing her neck): This isnt the first time that I woke up before u did & went to the kitchen. I've done it so many times in the past..
Arnav(wrapping his arms around her neck & resting his head on her shoulder): Pataa hai!
Khushi: Back then u never said anything. (turns to face him)Then y r u so angry today?
Arnav(kisses her cheek): Since the last few days,I've got the bad habbit of seeing ur face first thing in the morningi! But when I woke up today,I couldnt find u anywer. Thats y I..
Khushi(interrupts): Thats y u became restless,isnt it?
Arnav nods.
Khushi(kisses his cheek): Feeling better now?
Arnav(shakes his head): Worse!
Khushi(frowns): Y worse?
Arnav removes one arm from around her neck.
He slides that arm beneath her pallu & runs it along the length of her creamy waist before pulling her closer to himself.
Khushi closes her eyes & keeps her arm on top of his.
Arnav(kisses her earlobe): Y r u roaming around in a saaree that too early in the morning?
Khushi: Arr..nav..jiii! I wore this saaree since I hav to go to the temple today.
Arnav(drawing circles around her navel with his index finger): I see..
Khushi(moans): Arr.. navv..jiii!! Move ur hand away! Dont play mis.. chief at this hour of the morning!
Arnav(innocently): Then what should I do?
Khushi: Go & talk to Nanheji & Lavanyaji. U remember? U hav to clear Lavanyaji's misconception about u. I want everything to b back to normal before we head to Paris.
Arnav: Let it b,Khushi. They'll b here till mid July. I'll speak to her after coming back from Paris.
Khushi: But Arnavji..
Arnav(interrupts): Ssshhh! Didnt I listen to u last night & thereby allow u to make 100 jalebis?
Khushi: Ya..
Arnav: So today u listent to me. I promise,I'll speak to Lavanya the day we're back! Okay?
Khushi: Okay. BTW,u never told me..
Arnav(kisses her neck): What?
Khushi: First u let go of me! Lemme talk to u properly.
Arnav: Fine.
He lets go of her waist. When Khushi turns around he pins her to the wardrobe by keeping his arms on either sides of her.
Khushi: About Paris,what else!? Tell me,what'll the weather in Paris b like? Will it b cold or hot? I'll pack my clothes based on the weather over there.
Arnav: Right now it'll b summer in Paris,which means the climate will b pleasant.
Khushi: Okay.So I'll take my suits and sa..
Arnav(interrupts): U need not take anything!
Khushi(confused): Y not?
Arnav(inches his face closer): Coz I'm telling u!
Khushi(lowers her gaze): What do u mean..?
Arnav: I'll get u new clothes from AR designs. U just take ur nightgowns & 1 dress. That's it!
Khushi(looks at him): But I dont need..
Arnav(places his index finger on her lips): U do need them! U'll get ur new clothes once I return from office this evening. By that time,u pack the rest of ur stuff. I'll pack my bag after coming back from office. Okay?
Khushi nods.
Arnav removes his finger & pecks her lips.

Paayal is surprised to see Khushi standing outside the door of her room with a glass of juice.
Paayal: Khushi,y did u take the trouble? HPji would've got me my juice..
Khushi: I need to talk to u about something important,jiji..
As Khushi enters the room,Paayal notices the lines of worry on her forehead.
Paayal: What is it Khushi? I hope everything is.. fine?
Khushi(sitting beside her): Arnavji has scared me..
She offers her the glass of juice which Paayal declines.
Paayal: Not right now. First u tell me,what is the matter? What did Arnavji do?'
Khushi: When I asked him which clothes I should take to Paris,he told me that he'll get new clothes for me.
Paayal(smiles): Oh! And u got scared about sucha small thing?!
Khushi: This isnt a small thing,jiji. For 15 days he'll get me 15 new pair of clothes. What is the need to spend so much? When I told him that I dont need new clothes he said no! U need them! (gulps)Now I'm.. scared,jiji.I hope he'll.. not bring western outfits? He didnt even.. tell me to.. (lowers her gaze) take undergarments.. I really dunno what he'll bring for me? (holds her hand)Thats y I thought of asking u,since u'd also gone abroad with jijaji last year.
Paayal nods with a blush.
Khushi: The only difference being that instead of Paris,u both had been to Moscow. But.. all I wanted to ask was.. if jijaji also..
Paayal(interrupts): Ya Khushi! Aakash had also said something similar to me. In fact,he'd also got me new clothes from AR Designs.
Khushi(smiles): Oh wow! So.. what did he bring for u?
Paayal: Anaarkali suit! He said that since I've stopped wearing suits after marriage,I must b missing them. Thats y he got designer suits for me.
Khushi: Did he.. get u.. undergarments as well?
Khushi notices the hint of crimson on Paayal's cheeks as she nods.
Khushi: a.. And.. what else did he bring?
Paayal(blushes): Some of the suits.. were.. different..
Khushi: As in?
Paayal: As in.. 1 was backless.. and a.. 1 had a halter neck.And he even got a.. gown for me,which also had a halter neck.
Khushi: He got me some gowns in Srinagar itself!
Paayal(shocked): What?
Khushi: Ya! Nowadays I wear those gowns at night!
Paayal: Oh no Khushi! By gown I didnt mean nightgown! I've been wearing those since the night after r wedding! I meant.. evening gown!
Khushi(realizes): Oh..kay! The ones which heroines wear in award functions?
Paayal: Yeah,something similar! I'd also tried a pair of jeans on his insistence but.. since I didnt like them,he didnt force me to wear them. (covers their hands with her left hand)dont worry,Khushi! I'm sure,Arnavji wont ask u to wear anything skimpy or.. anything that u're not comfortable in. He's well aware of ur likes & dislikes. (confident smile)He'll get u awesome clothes!

Arnav entered through the main door,holding his laptop bag in 1 hand & the handle of the suitcase in the other.
Anjali(surprised): Chhotey?! How come u're back so early?
Arnav: Ya di. Just.. like that.
Anjali(eyeing the bag): So u've come early to make preparations for ur Paris trip,ha?
Arnav(avoids her question): Excuse me,Di. I'll go & freshen up.
Anjali(smiles): Okay.I'll keep ur coffee ready.
Arnav: No di. Dont make it right now. I'll ask u to make it once I'm.. downstairs.
When he notices Anjali creasing her brows,he adds.
Arnav: It might take a lot of time to pack my stuff. By that time the.. coffee will turn cold. So..
Anjali(gives a knowing smile): Understood! Dont worry! U concentrate fully on packing! Lemme know when u want ur coffee. I'm in nani's room.
Arnav nods & leaves.

Arnav was at the top of the staircase when he remembered something & stopped.
He removed his shoes & kept them on one end of the passage,next to the suitcase & laptop bag.
Then he took slow,small steps towards his bedroom.
When he reached the door of his bedroom,he was relieved to find it ajar.
His relief was replaced by irritation as soon as he noticed the windchime behind the transparent door.
Arnav(thinks): Damn it! She'll know its me as soon as I'll open the door. (realizes)Poolside windows must b open. I should enter from there..
He slowly made his way to the poolside.

Arnav got down softly from the poolside staircase to find that the poolside windows were open but the curtains were partially drawn.
He tiptoed his way to the windows & hid behind one of the curtains.
Then he peeped inside from the gap between the curtains.
Arnav frowned when he found the room empty.
Arnav(thinks): Wer did she go now?
Just then Khushi came out of the bathroom.
Arnav hid himself behind the curtain.
When he peeped inside a few seconds later,he found Khushi fiddling with her mobile.
She was wearing the same saaree which she'd worn that morning.
She played a song on her phone & sat down on the bed,smiling to herself.
Arnav's gaze fell on her bangles which moved & jingled as she folded the clothes.
To his delight,she started singing the song.
Arnav pressed his ear to the window to be able to hear her clearly.
Khushi(sings): Sharm aati hai magar

When Arnav peeped inside he found her blushing,just as he was expecting.
He continued gazing at her as she continued singing the song,the blush never leaving her cheeks.

Khushi(doubtfully): Is it.. really u?
Arnav(walks upto her): Nope! Its my ghost!
He extends his arms towards her.
Khushi(smacks his chest): No kidding with me!
She hugs him as the last stanza of the song starts.

Khushi: Today I gotta know y I was feeling like that!

Khushi: Coz yesterday,I mean day before, HPji had cleaned r room,before r arrival!
Arnav(frowns): Ya,so?
Khushi: So it felt strange coz I couldnt see ur touch in this room!
She points to the dressing table.
Khushi: Now look here today,ur hairgel is lying on the dressing table.. (points to the coffee table) Ur file is lying on the coffee table.. (points to his side of the wardrobe) The door of ur cupboard is open.. (points to the door of the bathroom) Ur clothes r hanging inside the bathroom..(points to the bedside table on Arnav's side of the bed) The charger of ur phone is lying on the bed-side table..
She turns around & points to the poolside French windows.
Khushi: Poolside windows r open. No matter where I look,I can see several things which tell me that u've been in this room!
She cups his cheek before continuing.
Khushi: While u were at ur office,whenever I saw any of these things I felt that u were with me,even though u werent! Thats y I was ablet o stay peacefully in this room today!
Arnav(holds & kisses her hand): My presence matters so much for u?
Khushi: Much more than this! I cant tell u how & in which ways ur presence affects me!
She sighs & hugs him,hiding her face in his chest.
Arnav(pats her head): While I'm at my office,do u keep thinking of me all the time?
Khushi: No,not all the time. But.. every now & then I get ur thoughts. Today I kept getting ur thoughts frequently since u'd gone to office after a long time today. (smiles) But now I'm feeling better! BTW,y did u come home early? (looks at him) Looks like u were missing me as well,hmm?
Arnav: Ya! And I remembered something,which is y I came from the poolside window.
Khushi(frowns): What did u remember?
Arnav: On the night of r anniversary when I'd texted u from Dubai,asking u to turn the lights off,u texted back saying that..
Khushi(interrupts): I felt as tho' u'd come back. That u were lying about not coming back..
Arnav: That I'll come out from my hiding & surprise u..
Khushi: Oh..! So thats y u came from there?
Arnav nods.
Khushi: But back then u told me that all these things happen only in movies,not in real life?
Arnav: Such things can happen in real life as well. But for that (proud smile) u need a husband like me!
Khushi(smiles): Yeah,y not?! Come on husbandji,now let me go.
The smile is wiped off Arnav's face.
Arnav: Y do u always hav to go somewhere when u're with me?
Khushi: Coz I'm goin 2 make coffee for u. Leave me..
Arnav(inches his face closer): Di was saying that she'll make coffee for me..
Khushi: O.. okay then.. I.. hav to.. make.. pakode..
Arnav(cups her face): Y?
Khushi: Coz I'm.. hungry! And I.. need to.. hav.. something.
Arnav: But before that u need to change ur saaree.
He pecks her lips lightly.
Khushi: What?
Arnav: U've been roaming around in this saaree since morning. (smirks)Dont u think that its time it is removed?

Arnav brings the suitcase & his laptop bag inside the bedroom.
Khushi(inquisitive): Hurry up..
Arnav: Lemme open the suitcase first!
Khushi is more shocked than surprised when Arnav opens the suitcase.
Khushi: Saaree? Is this.. a.. saaree?
Arnav: What does it look like?
Khushi: It looks like a saaree.
Arnav: Then y r u asking what it is?
Khushi: a.. just like that!
Arnav takes out a red, chiffon designer saaree & shows it to her.
Arnav: Wait a sec..
Then he takes out a black & pink georgette saaree & shows it as well.
Arnav: How r these?
Khushi: Ya.. they're nice! Beautiful!
Arnav smiles & turns to the suitcase.
Khushi(thinks): Jijaji had got suits for jiji but Arnavji got saarees for me..
Khushi: a.. Hav u.. only brought saarees?
Arnav: Relax Khushi! Blouses r also there inside the suitcase!
Khushi: n.. no!Thats not what I meant! I meant.. hav u got.. anything else.. like.. suit or..
Arnav: No suits! Only saarees!

Arnav(turns to look at her): Coz u look super sexy in a saaree!
