Back with an update for my first story! After viren was ready, he told virat to go and get the car out, whilst he went and called Jeevika and maanvi. This was basically just an excuse because he wanted to be the first one to see Jeevika. He knocked on the room and maanvi pocked her head out.

Maanvi- yes viren!

Viren- maanvi! Woh virat is getting the car out and he is saying come fast or we are going to get very very late!!

Maanvi- oh ! accha! Viren il go down and just please get Jeevika with you!

Viren- ya sure ! why not!

Maanvi rushes down and viren enters the room and is spell bound!

Jeevika is in the room in front of the mirror trying to putting the final touches of her makeup, and as she did that she was ready. She got up from the dressing table and saw viren just standing on the door absolutely stunned at what he saw. At that moment Jeevika knew her motive of getting ready was successful the man who she was getting dressed for was extremely pleased at the sight of her.

Whereas viren just walked to her and could not take his eyes off her. Just as he was going to pull her close, maanvi called for the two of them. Viren let out an exasperated sigh and knew that his urges needed to be controlled at that moment. Whilst jeevika slightly chuckled knowing what he was going through. Viren took jeevika's and both of them walked out of the room and down the stairs looking like an ultimate couple.

They reached the destination of the engagement and saw that vikram and vanshika are waiting for them with a huge crowd in a beautifully decorated room. The ceremony begins and they both exchange rings with each other, the rings which bound them together... FOREVER

They were in the after party with all their college friends and work colleagues when suddenly the music shut and everyone saw karan on the stage with a microphone.

Karan- hey guys! Hope you all are enjoying!

As soon as jeevika saw karan holding the speaking on stage, she rushed to viren and held his hand tightly, as she was petrified of what karan may say or reveal!

Karan- you guys may not know but viren was not the first man in jeevika's life!!! I was! And ...

Viren (with anther microphone, getting on stage)- and... also you may notice that now you are not! She is only mine! And mine forever! I don't care what was in her past , but now only I am her present and future! So karan why don't you just back off and leave !

Jeevika was nearly in tears seeing viren take up for her like that. She was flanked by virat and maanvi who were supporting her as both of them knew the truth, and had supported her through it!

Karan who was thinking he would reveal their secrets in front of a crowd and break virika's engagement was furious with the insult he faced and just left, swearing to himself that he would not let them live in peace.

After the party Virika headed home and found that the parents were asleep so they changed their clothes and were just sitting on the bed in their room, loving the fact that their relation was now on a different and better stage!

Jeevika – viren...

Viren- hmmm...

Jeevika- today if karan would have said anything... i mean in front of so many people! i feel so ashamed!

Viren – jeevs! Why are you ashamed! Baby you are my responsibility now! I can't let anything happen to you! I promise i will stand by you through everything!

Jeevika – Forever? Promise?

Viren (with utmost confidence) – I promise, Forever and ever!

After saying these sweet things to each other and making these promises Virika fell asleep in each other's arms.

The next morning, viren got up to find jeevika's side of the bed empty. He quickly hurried down to see if she was in the kitchen, but no! He checked the full house but could not see her anywhere! He went back to his room utterly confused as to where jeevika could have gone so early. Then he saw the bathroom and inwardly cursed himself for checking the whole house and panicking but not checking the bathroom itself!

Viren opened the door to see jeevika sitting on the floor with about 3-4 packets scattered around her. As he went closer he saw what the packets were.

Viren – jeevika! Baby! What's wrong! Why are these packets here!

Jeevika was just silent and was sitting there with a blank face. Without saying anything she handed him a pregnancy stick.

The stick showed Positive. Jeevika was pregnant; moreover jeevika was pregnant with his child. He was going to become a father!

Viren was very overwhelmed by all these thoughts. He knew for a fact that he could not tell his parents, as they would be very upset. And also were they ready for a baby? Could they handle the responsibility yet?

Viren- what do you want to do?

Jeevika (finally looked up at him)- what do you mean by that? I am not aborting the child, Viren!

Viren- jeevika think rationally please!

Jeevika- what do mean think rationally viren! This is our baby! We cannot kill it!

Viren – jeevika! Try to understand! What is wrong with you! We cannot handle the responsibility yet!

Jeevika (with tears rolling down, but tears of anger) – viren!

Viren (he got up, back towards jeevika) - Jeevika please! What mom and dad will think, have you thought of that! What will everybody else think?

Jeevika- And what about me? What about us?

Viren (in great anger now) – What about us, jeevika? W e cannot have this baby! And that is clear! If you want to keep it, Go ahead! But don't expect anything from me! Because I don't call this baby as my own!

Viren did not realise what he had said in a fit of anger, and as he turned towards her , the words that had just left his mouth sunk in and he realised that he just disowned his own child. Feeling terrible about it he saw jeevika just sitting still as what he had said had left her in total shock!

Viren – jeevika, I...

Jeevika –Nai! Just shut up viren! Fine you don't want this baby right! Ok! Now this is only my baby! I will take care of it! You can keep thinking about everyone else!

Then she gets up and heads towards the door, then halts, turns around to him as she remembers what he promised her...

Jeevika- one more thing viren! Please don't make promises that you can't keep!

Saying this, she just bangs the door behind her leaving a shattered and apologetic viren inside..
