Though I don't condone the state she leaves him in, I can't blame Khushi for distancing herself from Arnav so she has the clarity and the space to decide on her future course of action' the lines from the Ramayana blended in seamlessly with Khushi's thoughts and feeling that she wouldn't survive without him!Though, to me, they also seemed like a clear reflection of Arnav's pain and fear of losing Khushi! Sensible of Khushi not to be swayed by her emotions and doubts but to sit down and calmly sift through the facts and hearsay related to Arnav's earlier relationships' despite her fears, she knows and trusts him enough to make the distinction between the callous ASR and the sensitive Arnav: the former is the one who was involved with Lavanya and, possibly, with Lisa [though she has doubts about that!], while the latter is the person who loves her dearly and has shown it both in word and deed! It was very moving to see how absolutely sure she was of his love for her, and willing to take a chance on that love by facing the truth of Arnav's past, however unpalatable! Sharing her fears with Arnav and clearing the air is a step in the right direction! It says a lot about Khushi's goodness that Happy and Aman feel protective toward her, and show concern for her well-being and comfort' such thoughts would never cross anyone's minds when confronted by Lisa, Pam or Sim!

I can't understand what Pam and Sim get out of hurting Khushi' they aren't motivated by loyalty toward Lavanya, so it must be plain jealousy and the need to put in her place a person they consider an upstart! For they must know there's no chance in hell of either of them getting her claws into Arnav! Those two need to be drawn and quartered! I hope when the Khushi's fears are put to rest, she'll march back to AR and teach those two a lesson they'll never forget: she should ensure that they walk in on her when she shares a steamy, toe-curling kiss with Arnav, and then they should be sacked for being incompetent [that should erase all images of Lisa 'kissing' ASR from their minds!] ' if Arnav is surprised by this new avatar of Khushi, all the better! That Pam's and Sim's hurtful 'revelations' don't dissuade Khushi from going ahead with her planned tete-e-tete with Arnav says a lot about her trust in the latter, and her determination to face life's unpleasantness with courage! Khushi glancing at the objects that hold great sentimental value for her 'including the dried rose petals from the bouquet he had given her, her first one ever ' was a poignant moment, beautifully etched in its simplicity and pathos!

"Where is she?" Arnav strode to the glass wall to look down, his eyes searching for one glimpse of her lovely face' his eagerness to see her, and his ensuing disappointment on learning that she had left, was quite touching and heart-breaking, in a way! The scene displaying Arnav's and Khushi's sorrow and pain at having been separated for so many days from each other brought a lump to my throat!
